Just me rambling on about my gaming life. Sort of like I do on LiveJournal, only smaller and more sporadic daily updates.
Will also include stuff that relates to games tangentially, such as my annual trips to Anime NEXT and some of my projects.
Also, whew! I'd mismarked when Sea of Stars Physical Edition came out and only realized it came out last Friday when checking if I was right that it was THIS Friday. Thankfully, being an Indie game, there were still copies available. I don't mind paying twice because A) I probably paid around what I'd normally pay for a game and have it both on Steam and Switch and B) it's a smaller dev studio that focuses on retro games...want to support those who have passion for the games they made instead of corporate box checking.
Won't be playing it on Switch right away...next time I'm NG+ running for the last few Steam achievements (unless I ragequit Wheels since I was too busy playing the actual game to do anything with it).
Edit Note: I'm really amazed by how much love this post got. Guess it just shows we're all in the same boat. I do have other humorous writing memes on this tumblr under the same tag, if you're interested. Never give up writing! ❤️
Edit Note 2: I can't believe this has reached 10000+ notes. Been on tumblr for almost ten years (different account) and nothing like this has ever happened before. Thank you! 😊
This is why I write for myself more than anyone else. I don't give a care if other people would complain about me using tried and true story ideas that I just eat up like candy.
"is this too cliche?" who cares? bro, write what you have fun writing. stuff your manuscript full of your favourite tropes. the same themes you love. all inspired by things you grew up with. do it all. go off. load. it. up. be freeeee
I would love to know why Amazon Music is being so laggy tonight. Normally when I purchase a song, I can download but this time it won't let me. Then it takes a long time for the song to show up in my library (when I can then properly download it). Not fun...I have been waiting to go on a shopping spree since my list of "I Want This" songs got stupidly updated between a recent binge of Pandora and my work cafeteria's radio (two different styles of music but still two types I like).
