I have a soft request but you don鈥檛 have to answer or anything if you don鈥檛 want to. But I was wondering what your headcannon for each boy is for: Omega wakes up from a nightmare and seeks out one of the boys and their S/O for comfort. I just thought it鈥檇 be something cute and soft considering how much they each care about her in their own way. Again, you don鈥檛 have to if you don鈥檛 want to.

The Bad Batch x Reader - Comforting Omega
Hunter
A sound in the darkness wakes you up; Hunter next to you has woken up a few seconds before you and is already sitting up. You hear footsteps on the metal floor of the Marauder, and a moment later Omega is standing at your bunk, one of her pillows pressed against her.
Hunter asks before she can say anything, "Another nightmare?"
Ever since Kamino was destroyed and they were stuck in the ruins, Omega kept dreaming about how everything was collapsing, only in dreams they don't escape the ruins but go down with them forever.
"You're safe, sweetheart" you say softly "We're all safe"
"I know, but in the dream it feels different and it feels so real"
There is hardly any room in the bunk and yet you offer her to sleep with you and Hunter. Omega immediately accepts the invitation enthusiastically, carefully climbing over you and lying down between you. You stroke her gently through her hair and begin to tell her a nice old children's story that you remember from the old days.
Hunter smiles gratefully at you in the diffuse darkness, it means a lot to him that you show Omega so much compassion, you can see in his eyes how his heart melts.
Echo
Echo has something like a sixth sense for when you or Omega are in trouble. He wakes up from his sleep, which also wakes you up, because he has noticed Omega's nocturnal restlessness. He rolls out of the bunk and you follow him, feeling that you may be needed in a moment.
Omega lies in her bunk, breathing heavily, clutching her blanket and pillow in sweat. Echo feels her forehead as a precaution, but she has no fever.
"A nightmare?" you ask softly and quietly so as not to wake the others.
Omega nods and you wipe some tears from her face.
"Do you want to talk about it?" asks Echo softly.
She shakes her head and says, "Can't you just stay here, with me?"
Echo is torn for a moment; he's tired and had a rough day. But he finally nods.
"First we'll wash you," you say gently and take her to the refresher, washing her face, hands and neck where there was still some water paint she had dealt with during the day and giving her a fresh sleeping shirt. Finally you led her back to the bunk. Echo, in the meantime, had freshened the soaked bed.
"Now lie down" Echo says gently "We'll stay here by your bed until you fall asleep".
You sit down next to him at the edge of Omega's bed and he puts an arm around you.
"You're safe here, Omega" you assure her.
The girl smiles at you and closes her eyes with a soft, relaxed sigh.
Wrecker
When you wake up, Wrecker is already sitting by Omega's bed with Lula in his hand and seems to be playing some kind of puppet show for her. Amused you watch the two a little while. Your muscle giant is so gentle and affectionate that your heart swells at the sight of him. Wrecker is generally good with kids and kids love him, even though he is so big and his voice is so rough and deep, yet he can be so gentle and considerate with that voice when he wants to be.
Finally, you get up and walk over to the two of them.
"What are you two doing in the middle of the night?" you ask gently.
Wrecker smiled almost a little as if you had caught him, Omega as well.
"Vod'ika had a nightmare, I thought I'd distract her a bit".
You smile at your cuddly bear, kiss him on the temple and say "That's sweet of you".
Finally you lean over to Omega brush one of her blonde strands behind her ear.
"Do you think you're getting back to sleep? Do you want something else to drink?"
Omega nods, nuzzling her cheek into your warm palm for a moment. It took a little while but by now you were a beloved part of the family to her, thanks in part to Wrecker who had more or less brought you together.
You get her another cup of water and tuck her in. Wrecker tells a short bedtime story to which you both listen and finally the girl falls asleep and you can go back to your bunk.
Tech
"Tech... Tech...Tech....TECH!"
He blinks and jumps up, hitting his head at the upper bunk, waking you up in the process.
Blindly, he fumbles for his glasses, somewhat erratic and uncertain, still half asleep. You finally hand them to him carefully and he thanks you.
As soon as he puts on his goggles, he sees Omega standing by the bed, who has just woken him up.
"What's wrong? It's way past your bedtime," he says admonishingly.
"I had a nightmare," she says meekly.
Tech rubs the spot on his head he bumped earlier and asks, "What were you dreaming about?"
"Tipocca City."
Tech pauses and asks, "About the bombing?"
Omega nods.
Tech slowly swings his legs out of bed and you kneel on the bed next to him.
"We are safe, what happened there is over, It can't happen again. We made it out of the ruins, and a very large part of that is thanks to you," he says softly, for once not sounding as matter-of-fact as usual.
Omega sighs and nods.
"I know, but I can't shake this feeling, this feeling from the dream that I'm losing all of you."
"You won't" you say softly and insistently "You won't lose us".
Tech stands up and takes Omega in his arms.
"How about Y/N and I put you to bed and we stay by your bedside until you fall back asleep?"
Omega smiles and puts her arms around Tech's neck.
"Can Y/N tell one of her stories?"
Tech looks at you questioningly with a smile.
"Sure I can," you say tiredly but lovingly, and head to Omega's bunk with the two of them.
Crosshair
Omega softly pokes him.
"Cross...Crosshair...?"
"Hmm?!", he grumbles, still half asleep.
"Can I sleep in your bed?"
He sighs and opens his eyes.
"Why would you want that?". he asks a bit annoyed.
"I had a nightmare, I don't want to be alone right now"
You lie right next to Crosshair and slowly straighten up to sit, rubbing the sleep out of your eyes.
"What's wrong?"
Crosshair mumbles, "Omega had a nightmare, wants to sleep with us."
"Well come here then honey," you say softly, reaching out to help her climb into the bunk.
Crosshair grumbles as she climbs over him, but helps her more gently than he sounds, even patting her pillow before crossing his arms in front of his chest again and closing his eyes.
"I don't want to hear anything," he grumbles.
Omega sighs softly but nestles between you. She gently reaches for your hand and you clasp it with a smile.
"It's okay, Omega, you're safe here".
"Shut up, Kitten," Crosshair growls softly.
Omega and you know exactly that he means no harm and grin silently at each other.
