The technical term for spent tea leaves is called Ye Di (葉底), and there are plenty of information about the quality of tea just by look at the Ye Di. Ju Duo Zai is an oddball among Feng Huang Wu Long (oolong) teas. It is distinguished by both its appearance and taste. The fresh leaves come from a large, single-trunk tea tree and can be identified by their cute, small size, and fuzzy edges. But don’t be fooled, big things come in small packages.
