Because we all know that the main reason joe and taylor broke up is because he wanted to remain hidden. I think this song is about that. We know lindsey had her faults but did she deserve being cheated on?

And i admit that dean was a pretty good bf in s1 but that can never shadow the fact that he got away with everything

4. Not giving her space like ever

7. Marrying lindsey even tho he still loved rory

8. Lying to lindsey about where he was

9. CHEATING ON LINDSEY

10. Yelling at lindsey after he cheated on her

11. Still thinking of himself as a superior goody two shows after doing all this

That guy yelled at her for hanging out with her friends. He was so paranoid and insecure that every guy rory ever hung out with was a so-called rival who he hated so much. All he cared about was rory spending time with him even if it meant compromising with her dreams (Harvard). And again, he yelled. Every. Single. Time. He yelled before asking her to explain.

Like dude shut up

Jess asked her first (without any yelling) if she was hanging out with her EX. If she was going to the carnival with him and if she was at miss Patty's with him. ASKED NOT YELLED. He did not come to conclusions ever.

The thing is people have to understand that jess came from a messed up family. Dad abandoned him, mom sent him away. This man should have had serious trust and abandonment issues but he didn't atleast not with rory. Not even tho he knew that Dean was her first love and he might never be one. He trusted her completely. He trusted her enough to fall in love with her and tell her that.

But Dean was such a baby. Acc to him his family was normal. No truly sad bits. he did not have a single reason for his trust issues. All he had were anger issues.

But throughout the series blair was the one that every guy fell in love with. I mean people literally destroyed themselves because of how much they loved her. It was like blair had this magnetic force that captured all of their attention.
