in chapter 11 of the raven king (thanksgiving), neil says, ‘kevin was staring at andrew like he’d seen a ghost’. i’ve always kind of wondered what that meant, but now with the added perspective of tsc, and all the parallels between andrew & jean … maybe the ‘ghost’ kevin’s seeing here is jean’s. and the implications of that- jean says in tsc that ‘even kevin didn’t know the full story, only the jagged half-lie riko fed him’, so jean doesn’t think kevin knows the truth about the ‘rumors’. but what if he does? what if when kevin heard andrew say ‘don’t ask what’ and ‘you know better’, he finally realized: riko lied. and kevin should have known better than to believe him.

Just realised that Jeremy being surprised that Jean is nineteen means that it isn't a well-known fact outside of the Raven line-up. Lucas is very likely saying all this shit about Jean being a whore or whatever without even realising how young Jean is. If my maths is right, Lucas is actually older than Jean is.

People have to be so serious. Calling you an apologist when the worst of Lucas' sins can't beat the best of Andrew's. Him bringing Grayson to Jean is fundamentally different than like when Luther did it with Drake, the key being that Jean expressively did not tell Lucas shit, and such, he couldn't have known. Like it was still a wrong thing to do when Jean clearly hated Grayson for a reason. And not only did he realize he was wrong and apologized, he tried to keep Grayson away from the moment he first stepped towards Jean with violence. LEAVE HIM ALOOOOONE

i think it’s genuinely possibly the silliest thing in the world… i understand disliking him bc he didn’t give us a lot to work with but like my GOODNESS i saw someone say lucas, grayson, and riko apologists in the same sentence and i was like WOAH????? lucas apologists don’t exist bc LUCAS ALREADY APOLOGIZED. he was miserable about what he did when tsc ended like he literally was upset by jean not wanting to call the police it made me scream
