having been cut off halfway through her sentence , bailee fell silent and listened to what the other had to say . the fact that the other had interjected the conversation just to talk about herself caused bailee’s eyes to briefly roll back in her head . ❝ i mean , sure ? ❞ she didn’t feel like she really had a choice in the matter . when the phone was turned her direction , bailee glanced at the outfit and offered alexis a fake smile . ❝ it’s totally you . ❞

one of her goals that summer was to work on her tan , loren loved self tanners , but there was nothing better than lying on the beach and being kissed by the sun . that didn't mean she intended to walk around looking like a tomato for the next months . the blonde rolled her eyes , huffing before repeating herself . “ i said it's getting hotter , can you put some sunscreen on my back ? ” she repeated , shaking the bottle in front of the other .
normally , bailee wouldn’t even be on her phone while at the beach -- but a friend had sent her a single tiktok video and it had all been downhill from there . giving loren her full attention now , bailee listened as the other requested sunscreen application and she nodded in response . ❝ oh yeah , sure ! ❞ she agreed with a smile , reaching for the bottle . ❝ is it a spray or a lotion ? ❞ she inquired curiously .

bailee had dug herself so far deep into a tiktok hole that she hadn’t even heard the person sitting next to her speak up initially -- but when they tapped her on the shoulder , she jumped slightly. pulling one of her air pods out of her ear , bailee offered them an apologetic smile . ❝ sorry . guess i fell victim to tiktok yet again . what were you saying ? ❞

BIOGRAPHY .
born to teenagers in south korea who decided they weren’t ready to be parents , seong miyoung became a child of the system and eventually adopted by a wonderful lgbtq+ couple from new york at the age of three . upon arriving at her new home , she was blessed with her new american name : bailee weiss . growing up , bailee obviously knew that she was adopted , but it was something she didn’t willingly go around sharing with people , because to her the family she had was the only family she had ever had and / or needed .
bailee started to show an interest in art from a very young age , coloring a wide range of pictures for her moms starting at the age of five . her artistic expression only grew more when she reached middle school and was allowed to choose an art class as her elective . by the time she was in high school , art had become a part of bailee’s personality . she would often find herself creating paintings for her friends just because she wanted to and even a couple teachers had some of her pieces hanging in their classrooms .
college was never in the books for bailee . after high school , she chose to become an apprentice at the local tattoo shop instead . she worked underneath some of the best artists she had ever met for a number of years before she was promoted and allowed to do tattoos of her own . although tattooing is her main focus , bailee still finds herself taking time to create art on canvases as well .
although she grew up a couple hours outside of the area , new york city is bailee’s absolute favorite place to go . her moms would take her to times square every new years eve when she was younger to watch the ball drop ( a tradition they still do as a family to this day ) and they would occasionally take her to see a broadway production now and then ( yes , she is a total broadway baby ) .
although art is her life , bailee has a number of other hobbies that she enjoys : watching scary movies , cooking , and attending concerts ( mostly pop - punk ones ) being just some of the many things she likes to do . bailee’s personality is seemingly well rounded given that she is an upbeat , carefree , happy girl who also happens to be very in tune with her emotions and enjoys wearing black year round . oh , and she has a bearded dragon named jonas ( yes , after the jonas brothers ) who is the light of her life !
