I did not notice all the changes originally so now I need to point out all the details that are different

Clock moves way too fast, also has blood on it at one panel

Painting changes to something vaguely flipped once, once turns into a knife, one forms cracks, once turns to fire

Caleb gets a scar in one panel, purple eyes in one, pointy ears with a cut in one (the first one I noticed actually), and while we never see his back till the last panel I'm counting the tear in his shirt as one of the things

The food manifests an eyeball one panel then turns into what might be Belos goop for another

A bloody knife manifests on the nightstand

This comic is very cool and very unnerving, I love it

The Voice of the Opportunist, carrying multiple masks on his person, and wielding a poorly concealed knife.

And finally (for now) The Long Quiet itself, the night sky, swirling sigils blurred in the dark.

Wait

Wait people write Red a bad fighter?

I mean, if anyone's reading this who does portray Red as a bad fighter, you do what you'd like to make your story. I do not expect all fanfic writers to be experts in the source material and have analyzed every action cause that's not fair to expect from someone who wants to write about silly sticks. You can do what you'd like, have fun with it!

But still, Red is shown in the series as clearly the physically strongest, held their own against Orange for quite a while multiple times, is often on the front lines in battle - they're not as acrobatic as Green or Blue but their strength and general skill more than make up for it.

Imagine knowing how to fight so well you get someone trying to fight you to defeat an entire horde of enemies solely by positioning yourself in the right places and dodging at the right times, leaving that situation entirely unharmed with all enemies defeated, and still being considered a stupid bad fighter who's just doing their best.

Red certainly isn't the best fighter in the world but they're a pretty good one. They might not make the smartest, most thought-through decisions all the time but they sure can think on their feet.

Let them punch that wall (and from what I've noticed as of late Green might help them punch that wall)

how most people write red (at least in the fics i read) hes a little stupid and cant fight real good but he trys so hard and hes good at emotions! how im writing red so far: fuck it, punch the magic wall (me:you, you what?) i punch the weird thing untill it breaks (me does the math in my head: no yeah you would have the strength to do that ok what next?) i bite yellow (me of cucking course)

AvM Ep 33 Commentary

Gonna do a little bit of commentary and whatever important points I notice while watching through the episode, all below the cut so AVM EP 33 SPOILERS BELOW.

I actually love getting to see what more blocks do, not just the command block + lucky block cause a lot of these seem to have different effects and that's awesome. The chaos of this episode is absolutely gonna be Red's fault isn't it though, I see you sneaking off there.

Guys. Guys Yellow canonically sleeps. At some point they have managed to sleep. This is a miracle.

Red just flung the command block away to some random place is this gonna be important later? Also the creeper bee keeps showing up so that feels also important probably

Red just broke a universe oh n o and kidnapped the sentient-looking lucky orb thing

Wait they changed the layout of their house??? Why does Red sleep in the same room as Green???? Does Blue not sleep on the floor anymore??????? NOOO BLUE DOESN'T SLEEP ON THE FLOOR NOOOOOO

Also 1 I love how the orb block creature is animated and 2 they look kinda scared from my perspective, which makes sense if so cause they just got dragged to a new universe and there's this stick thing (which looks a lot like the kind of creature that kidnapped them last time) trying to get them again.

Orange is fighting much more defensively than usual, first three moves I see from them is to block an attack on Green, catch Red (justice for Arcade Games) and take out another shield.

Everyone's gotten very good at this though, I love seeing them employ their skills cause they've all gotten a lot stronger as time goes on. Blue with the potion, Yellow with even just the normal command block, ect

Oh no they've all been eaten IS THE BEE OKAY THO WAIT NO THE BEE'S BEEN TAKEN NOOO the bee's kinda okay though

Oh and you've taught the shiny chaos orb who doesn't seem to like you guys at all how to make block staffs that surely can only go well, I love the effect on the lucky block environment though it's so cool.

Red. Red did you learn that from Green. Using a pick to break lines of blocks coming at you so you can get closer to an enemy. Green used that on you Red. That feels very familiar.

Green that doesn't seem the most useful block to GREEN YOU JUST KILLED PEOPLE WITH MUSIC. THAT'S TERRIFYING. CAN YOU JUST SING SOMEONE TO DEATH???? LIKE WOULD THAT WORK UNDER YOUR OWN POWER IF YOU WERE GOOD ENOUGH AT IT??????

Blue the most acrobatic just pogo-ing their way to victory, also the slightly 3d shot of Red's sword in a standstill is interesting.

Please creeper bee don't explode by the end of this you're so sweet you make the ghast happy you make Red happy you make me happy you make everyone happy oh there you go into the hive

Red silly also Red's got two now, hoping they don't get to bring these home cause these seem overpowered if everyone's got them all the time

Idk I'm probably gonna have to watch this fight a couple times I'm just enjoying the show rn, a lot of different fighting styles coming into play, a lot of interesting stuff you can put in the staff, a boat fighting people, tis fun.

How nice they put all the blocks back and surely the shiny chaos orb won't do anything wrong and is definitely not going to kill everyone with their newfound power

Just love the fighting styles used in this, Yellow and Red teaming up, Red helping Orange out, Green thinking with portals and grappling hook adjacent, Blue doing acrobatic flying, Red and Orange are embracing the powers of Herobrine and the Warden respectively, it's all great

Bedrock cages are kinda rude though smh SOMEONE GET THE BEE THE BEE SHALL SAVE US ALLLLLL MAYBE THE CHAOS ORB LIKES THE CHAOS HYBRID BEE

Wait they actually did get the bee I wrote that before Red did anything NOOOO THE BEE NOOOOOOOO THE BEE'S NOBLE SACRIFICE o7 you were my new favorite character gone but not forgotten

Yellow just looked so annoyed while waiting for their bedrock to break

Hold for a minute I need to add on to this because I always found this line of thinking amazing and there's something else I think about a lot in relation to this.

We are loved more than we will ever realize, but we have also changed people more than we will ever realize. So many little, seemingly insignificant actions of ours can change the trajectory of someone's life to a huge degree, and while sometimes that can be bad, if we're at all trying do good things I'm pretty sure most of the time it's good. We have a legacy we can't even begin to imagine.

Have you ever introduced people for them to stay friends? The results of that friendship is part of your legacy.

Have you ever given advice to or comforted someone when they were going through a hard time? Everything they use that support to do is part of your legacy.

Every person you help is part of your legacy. If you teach someone something, if you make people think in a different way, if you donated, if you listened, there are little pieces of your legacy in every friendship, in every lesson, in everywhere you go.

The people you affected might be people you are best friends with, or casual acquaintances, or people you met one time or even not at all.

But people who love you are everywhere.

Your legacy is everywhere.

Even if you'll never see all of it.

Okay so I'm a little bit behind both in vod watching and I missed the liveblogging for most of the event of the eggs coming back, but I do have a question.

Does anyone know why Chayanne's floatie looks different? Like, shinier? I swear he's got little shiny spots on him now and he didn't before. Has anyone mentioned that? Cause I don't think Phil has, at least not that I've seen. Or does any other egg's model look different at all?

I'm curious to see if that's been discussed much, either by the characters or in the fandom, cause it seems a little weird to me that one egg would have such a random design change if that is the case.

Two notes: 1, I'm coming at this from the perspective of a Red team watcher who has some friends who watch Soulfire. I know the most about Red so I was able to choose the most influential objects for them. I wish I knew a better object for Green especially but I am not watching a week's worth of videos for one picture so dice and tea for Green and Blue is the best I can do

I am so sorry briefly forgot to do the spoiler see-more thing, commentary on the newest episode and obsessing over the color gang instead of like 90% of the actual plot

Alriiiight I know I haven't been active much and can't do some full analysis on the new episode but I do have some immediate comments, especially at the end

First, YELLOW DID HAVE A SPECIFIC ROLE YESSS unfortunate that the role was getting targeted and kidnapped but welp the price to pay, gonna be interesting to see what Yellow's doing on their own though.

Second, on my eternal Red character analysis, it makes me so happy that Red went for a fight and then Green joined in. They weren't alone this time, someone trusted Red's instincts, and they weren't wrong to start a fight. Sure it failed but they woulda lost Yellow either way, and if they fought they at least had a chance of escaping. I'm so happy that Green went along with it.

I did note that Blue only begun a fight when the Rocket people attacked a noncombatant (Yellow) and they were 100% certain that they were here for hostile intentions. Just interesting to note. And Yellow just looked kinda confused.

Also like all the plot things but look I love the color gang so much I will always talk about them.

Also how did Green get 4 copies of the picture they drew 5 seconds ago at the start did they leave a photocopier in their inventory
