I'm tired of the hate Dub fans get to this day. Listen, I get it, I really do. But being completely honest, for me personally, I don't think there's any time - when I found it as a teenager - to now, that I would have wanted to watch the sub, if not for the dub. The "Dumb jokes" is part of the appeal for me. Now don't get me wrong, I have since went back and watched Adventure-Tamers subbed, and it was very interesting to go back and see what the original version was like. But I will always prefer the dub. And I'm sorry, "Do you know what a semi-conductor is?" - "A guy who works part time on a train?" will always make me smile.

The last week or so my Tumblr feed has been screwed up. My first two posts I see have been the same for a week, even though if I click on those blogs I can see newer posts, and the third post is another blog I follow, but only showing the 3rd most recent post they have (Has changed through the week) And the next posts are a few random posts that keep getting cycled through and coming back. Any idea why this is happening?

I missed doing something special last year, but today (April 27) is the 3rd anniversary of this blog! I almost can’t believe that something I started as an early pandemic project is still going, but I’m happy to keep documenting every good Haru in Appmon (there are so many!), and I’m always amazed that so many of you continue to follow along! 💛

Since it’s been a minute since our last art giveaway, I figured I’d hold another one! Everyone who follows this blog is eligible to participate.

RULES:

1. Each unique follower of this blog who likes or reblogs this post is considered entered. The maximum number of times you can enter is once. To keep things fair, users who have been gifted art previously will be weighted a bit less for decision-making purposes, but are still eligible. If for some reason you really want to reblog this post but don’t want to enter the giveaway, that’s perfectly fine! Just say so in your tags.

2. I will select a random winner on May 20 and notify them via Tumblr messaging. If the winner is unresponsive or otherwise unreachable after ~72 hours, I will select another.

Manga Authors/Artists...

I watched a really great anime about a year ago called Bakuman. It was a really interesting anime, 3 seasons, about two guys that formed a partnership to create a manga. It was slow at times, but it was fascinating. And several people commented that it was very true to life, of how things go in the Manga business.

  ...... And because of working hard and deadlines, one of the main guys got some health problems at a young age. He had to be careful about overdoing it. ....So when you hear of a Manga being delayed or going on Hiatus (Like My Hero Academia is currently) remember there’s a human being working on it, and their health should come first.

Happy 20th Digi-Anniversary, Digimon Tamers!

So time flies and suddenly it’s the 20th anniversary of Digimon Tamers. Drew this based on the anniversary key art for Henry and Terriermon Program: Clip Studio.

(But who are we kidding, I quote a lot of Digimon.)

I was a kid when I first watched Digimon. I’m 35 now. Still to this day, I quote the joke from Izzy and Tentomon that goes, “Look! A Sign!” “From above?” “No, here on the ground.” It’s so simple and silly and I love it.
