Yuesong: Song Qingshi nearly dies saving Yue Wuhuan's life and Yue Wuhuan spends the next 10 years protecting and caring for his comatose body while getting stronger and refuses to admit to his feelings for fear of Song Qingshi rejecting him. Song Qingshi will LITERALLY (not hyperbole) die if he lets himself succumb to his attraction to Yue Wuhuan, and even if he wouldn't die he's still afraid that his attraction to Yue Wuhuan would make him uncomfortable and thus refuses to acknowledge or admit to it. This is all established within the first 35 chapters of a 120 chapter novel. They are not together at this point. They continue pining after each other for like, 50+ more chapters after this. I haven't even finished this book. I'm pretty sure there are 3000 more years of pining before they actually get together.
