wwdits s3e04 reflection + next episodes thoughts (and spoilers?)

HI AGAIN!!

in regards to last night's episode: i'm completely enamoured with nandor trying to make guillermo feel more part of the vampires group.

he's doing the bare minimum but idc. i love him growing into a better person thanks to guillermo.

and guillermo trying to come out to the others... my dearest...... i kinda wish they had let him finish. i can definitely relate to his story and feelings about his upbringing and coming out to his parents. hispanic parents (tm).

i love how many nandermo content and hints they are dropping this season, and at this point i sincerely doubt we are going to get queerbaited because... i think nandor is going to reciprocate those feelings. NOT this season, because i personally think this season is for guillermo to find comfort within himself and understand his feelings towards nandor.

also, that scene in which nandor is sobbing about how alone he is and the camera zooms to this plane in the sky? where guillermo is? yeah.

but remember, this show is basically a slowburn fic. we gotta wait. (probably!?). i also feel like nandor is still too dense about his own feelings, but they're making a point of making his loneliness and need of a lover an arc for him in this season.

we know already -and if you didn't you know now-, according to a rottentomatoes interview that guillermo's patience is going to be tested to its limits once again, and with the 9th episode named ''the farewell'', we can expect... a goodbye?

i don't think this goodbye will be lasting much, though, because the next episode is titled ''the portrait''. it might just be me linking everything back to the first episode's last scenes (because i am not tired of romanticising them yet), but if you remember, nandor's gift for guillermo's 10th year as a familiar is the famed glitter portrait.

i wonder if we're ever going to come back to it. i hope we will, because i care so much about this scene and i know many people in the fandom do.

for me, it marks the first time nandor genuinely tries to do something nice for guillermo, even though it isn't what guillermo wanted i always think back to it as their first 'moment'.

we'll have to wait for the end of the season to know! but these are my thoughts for now.

btw i wrote this in a caffeine high and i am Not proofreading because i'm like that, so it might be unreadable but i love them so much.
