(This is for myself but anyone may use it too!) Tattletale AU-Tom, (Child tom) opens his presents early to find, Tommee bear, remember Tord is now a weird bear machine. AngelMatt-Edds guardian angel is Matt, who goes insane over Edd. COTL AU-Tord is The One Who Waits, it's the bad ending where you give your cult and soul to the cat god with three eyes. Except for Tord being like "Nuh uh" to Edd dying (Edd is the lamb) and just takes his followers' souls and most of Edd's soul, and Tord keeps Edd around. CrazyNeighbourEdwardo-Edwardo wants Jon back after Tord kills him, goes into denial and kidnaps Edd after a battle with their superpowers, and attempts to make Edd believe he is Jon (I am aware that Jon is based on Tom, but superhero battle with a sad dude, who is having a horrible time with Edd trying to make Edwardo feel better and getting confused with Jon). (Again, anyone can use these ideas if they want, but I made this to remember when I write. I am going to make much more than these so do not be worried that I spoiled too much. Also I'm gonna write em, so you will see actual stories in the future, not just ideas, there is a difference. No I am not requesting anything from anyone, that is not what this is for, it is to remember now and write later, though I'm allowing people to use these ideas if they would like! I am perfectly fine with that.)

Edd:

- He’s very protective of his s/o. More so than he was in the past. He’s terrified of someone taking them away or one of his friends taking them away, so they’re never out of his sight.

- Loves to wrap them up in his trench coat.

- Kisses them a lot more than he did in the past. When the urge to drink Cola hits, he’ll seek them out in their house to cuddle them and kiss them.

- He takes them with him to the past and they stop him from killing his past self by going “then how will you love me?” works very well.

- sdfhihfksb he flexes on his past self with stuff about his s/o.

- Edd then spends the rest of the night drinking Cola and visiting places they haven’t seen in the city in a long time before Future Tom and Future Matt catch up.

Matt:

- Nicer than he was in the past. He’s not obsessed with his image anymore, but now he’s slightly obsessed with his s/o’s image.

- I think he works in the red army with Tord and Tom, so his s/o would be pretty safe. As a result, he lets them wander around the safe parts from time to time.

- Has a more detailed and longer self care routine with them than he did in the past. He thinks that if he can’t do that stuff anymore, he might as well enjoy doing it to his s/o.

- Makes sure to tell his s/o he loves them every morning and every night.

would yandere! future ew crew be any different than their present selves? I know edd would but how about tom, matt, and tord/red leader

Well, going based on the little bits we know about the future lads, I can guarantee Tord would be the worst.  If he ascends to Red Leader, I can very well see him becoming just about everything except maybe over protective and clingy.  He would literally do everything in his power to make sure you stay with him, regardless of who he'd have to kill

I feel Matt would, along with the possessiveness, pick up the over protectiveness, going as far as locking you in a cage and treating you more like a pet 

I can see Tom doubling down on the manipulation, going as far as manipulating everything around you to bend you in his favor.  Like doing computer shit to write you out of your work schedule, or if you're in college, he could use his status and whatever else he needs to get your teachers to just give you perfect grades so you won't have to waste time studying, etc all so he can spend more time with you

Edd's original plan of killing his past self was far from his mind as he couldn't help but stare at you. You were so young. Now that he wasn't so hellbent on killing his past self, he saw how young and naive all of you were. Unaware of what's to come.

In just a few years, they'll end up locked away in Red Leader's base, his mind whispered. They'll be nothing more than his little dolls to dote on and wave in front of my face.

Although it was for a different reason, his anger resurged. It wasn't fair! Tord hadn't ever known you as long as he had. Or even as long as Tom and Matt. But that didn't stop him from tricking Edd into thinking that he just missed all of them. That he wanted to move back in and be their boyfriend again.

Then, he decided he loved you too and took you away. Of course, he took Tom and Matt with him. And since Edd refused to join him, Tord resorted to waving all of them in his face.

Edd's grip on the gun in his pocket tightened. Maybe he didn't need to kill his past self to stop Tord from ever moving back. Maybe...... Maybe he just needed to take his lovers with him to the future and hide them far away from any version of Tord.

Thinking about it is so funny to me. Like Future!Edd won't explain a single thing to any of the present gang so for a while they're just like. "This might as well just happen." Meanwhile present Tord freaks out since Edd missed their monthly phone call and isn't answering his phone at all. Red Leader freaks out because his lovers disappear lmao.

Edd wasn't answering his phone. It'd been a few days and Tord had been trying non-stop. This wasn't like him at all. Whenever Edd missed their agreed time, he always sent a text to apologize and explain what was going on. Or if his phone was destroyed, he'd send a text from one of the other's phones.

All Tord has gotten from his friend was silence.

It unnerved him to no end. Not for the first time, he cursed himself for moving out, for not figuring out a way to make things work with his growing army while still being able to live with his ex-boyfriends.

Though he had heard recently of a new partner.....

Tord shook his head. Not important, he thought.

"Uh, boss?"

Tord snapped his head up from his phone. Pat stood awkwardly in his makeshift office doorway.

"Paul's been trying to call you this past hour. He said, um, that a large man has been chasing your friends around with a gun? He also said that all of them have disappeared and that he can't find them."

Tord felt nauseous with anger and fear. He knew Paul had been trying to call him but he ignored him in favor of trying to reach Edd. Now he really wished he didn't.

Dialing Paul's number, he quickly shooed Pat away and yanked his curtains shut. It wouldn't do shit to stop anyone from hearing if they passed by, but it gave him a nice sense of privacy. And no one could stare at him if he shattered some of the things in his office.

"What's the situation?" he barked out.

"Large man in a trench coat and green hoodie was waving around a gun at Edd," Paul responded immediately. "Kept going on about being Edd from the future and needing to kill him. He saw your friend's new partner and went quiet. Before I could even do anything, he lunged for all four of them and they disappeared in a flash."

Disappeared....?

Tord couldn't stop shaking. "Keep searching! I want updates every hour."

"Got it boss."

He hung up the phone and sat numbly in his chair. With a scream, he picked up his landline phone and threw it across the room.

* * * * * * * * *

"So um. What's the plan?" Tom asked. "I thought you wanted to kill Edd."

Edward, as they had dubbed Edd's future self, didn't look up from the stove. They watched as he poked at the big pot containing spaghetti.

"Uh, hello?" you ask. "Is this an elaborate murder plan? Did you get tired of holding a gun? Also, we can't eat spaghetti tied up."

"Yeah! Untie us!"

Matt wriggled in his ropes and promptly fell off his chair. "Ow!"

Edward sighed. He dropped the spoon and turned around to heft Matt back into his seat.

"Knock it off or I'll leave you on the floor."

He went back to the pot.

"I say we heckle him," Edd whispered.

"Your home sucks," Matt said.

"Yeah I second that. This is a shithole and I mean that lightly."

Edward sighs again. "I am very aware of that Tom. Being on the run from Red Leader doesn't exactly give me a lot of options for places to live."

Since his back is turned to the four of you, he misses the questioning looks you give each other.

"Ok, now I'm going to untie your arms enough that you can eat. Make any sudden movements and you'll fall on the floor. Then you lose all being untied privileges."

Okay Idea- Yandere future edd. He came back to kill his past self then he saw the reader again. They dated for years until S/O ran away with one of the other guys bc Edd became to crazy. His goal changes to killing the friend S/O ran off with and take S/O to the future with him.

Something was incredibly wrong with Edd’s Future Self and you meant that lightly. The man took one look at Tom a minute into his speech about killing Edd at the dinner then at you and just. His face would haunt you for a good while. You’ve never seen that kind of rage on your boyfriend and seeing it come from his older self was terrifying.

He screamed and launched himself towards the table you four were sitting at. Future Edd had yanked Tom up by his hoodie, practically choking him, and screamed death threat upon death threat until Edd basically waterboarded him with Cola to get him to release Tom. From there, all four of you booked it to your cars.

Once you four got far away enough from the diner, you parked your cars to figure out a plan.

“I think my soul left my body. What the hell was that all about? Why is he so hellbent on killing me now instead of Edd?”

“Who knows. Guy seems not all there, no offense Edd.”

“None taken, he looks um. Something surely happened to make him that way, right?” Edd responded to Matt.

He looked a little sick. You really didn’t blame him since all of you just witnessed who he might become.

“Don’t think about it too much,” Tom told him. He patted him on the back, still a little out of breath. “Now that you’ve seen that, things might change. The future isn’t always set in stone and we could be in an alternate reality already compared to him.”

“I suppose.”

You wrapped an arm around your boyfriend. “Well I certainly won’t let you become a murder. If Cola gets banned here too, we could stick through it together.”

Edd blanched at the reminder but tried his best to return your smile. He glanced at something behind you. Whatever it was, his face brightened as he grabbed your hand and dragged you to… a glass display of tvs?

“Attention! Now selling Cola with…. Bacon!!!”

Oh. Yeah that made sense.

Matt nudged Tom with his elbow. “Who even buys this crap?” He took one look at Edd’s excited expression and quietly said, “Oh.”

“Yeah, we should probably get back to the cars now. I’ve had enough attempts on my life this week and I don’t want to have another one.”

You helped Tom pull Edd away from the glass display back to the cars. Only to quickly stumble backward as Edd’s Future Self appeared in front of you four in a flash of light.

“You may have gotten away from me last time, but you won’t be able to escape from my army of meees! Attack my brethren!”

If Future Edd wasn’t so terrifying, watching his plan fall apart as his family members scattered screaming would have been really funny. But he still loomed over each of you looking as if he wanted to tear Tom apart with his hands so none of you had it in you to really look at the situation and laugh.

“How could this plan get any worse? Ugh, I’ll just have to kill you myself.”

His eyes glowed green and the four of you could only stand there, frozen in horror as he stepped towards you. This is it, you frantically thought. My friends are going to die, c’mon move move do something move-

“Stop right there!”

Oh holy shit thank god. Someone was finally here to help. You weren’t going to have to watch as one or more of your friends became splatters of gore on the pavement. Not today at least.

“This has gone on long enough, Edd,” Future Tom snapped at him, pointing a gun. “What happened has happened and you need to get over it. Killing my or your past selves isn’t going to fix a thing.”

Future Matt looked super angry but the poor man didn’t get to even say anything because Matt screamed “Oh god I’m old!” and that broke the spell. Edd grabbed the back of both your and Tom’s hoodies as Tom managed to snag onto Matt’s jacket. The four of you booked it away from the shit show that was about to go down. Matt wailed something about his beauty being a fleeing concept but you didn’t pay much attention to him.

The sound of guns going off and screaming far behind you was so much more important. You didn’t hear much, but you most definitely heard Future Edd scream “YOU TOOK THEM FROM ME YOU BASTARD! GIVE THEM BACK!”

And even more chillingly, Future Tom screamed back, “THEY’RE NOT YOUR FUCKING PROPERTY, THEY’RE A PERSON AND IT’S NOT MY FAULT YOU DROVE THEM AWAY!”

Again, you guys put a good distance away from the fight before you stopped again.

“I hope we never learn the context of that,” you panted. You bent over, hands on your knees as you wheezed. It’d been too long since you had to sprint as fast as you can for such a long distance. Maybe you should start taking runs around the neighborhood or something?

“They sounded so angry,” Edd said quietly. “I don’t think this is about Cola being banned.”

“Yeah, this feels. So much worse,” Tom agreed.

“Guys, the screaming stopped.”

You turned to look at Matt and your stomach sunk as you realized he was right. It was quiet. Too quiet.

“Maybe your guy’s future selves got-”

Something green slammed into Edd’s stomach, shoving him away from you onto the ground. He cried out and clutched his stomach.

Tom was next but that one slammed into his face and he screamed as he clutched his eyes. Matt was scrambling back but he was spared.

Arms wrap around you and you're yanked into Future Edd’s arms. A choked sound leaves your throat as you're pretty much crushed against his chest.

His hand slams over the watch on his arms and your friends disappear within a blink of your eyes. Future Edd lets go of you and you hear a crunch.

“NO!” You scream at him. “TAKE ME BACK!”

“I just destroyed the watch,” he said dryly. His gaze softens and he pulls you into his arms again, into a more gentle hold. He flops down onto a bed behind him and thoroughly traps you against him. He ignores your screams and pathetic attempts to push him away as he cooes at you, “Oh honey I am never letting go of you again. I love you so much, I’ll take such good care of you. He’ll never touch you again.”

* * * * * * *

Future Tom takes one look at Edd’s past self curled up in a ball and his heart pounds in his veins.

“He took them!” Past Edd cried out. He sounded as if he was on the verge of tears.

“Motherfucker, when I get my hands on him!”

Future Tom’s neon green eyes dart to his own past self, the skin around his void eyes a furious red.

“He hit us with green shit and took off with them,” he angrily informed both Future Tom and Future Matt.

Future Matt held his head in his hands. “Oh my god, what are we going to do?”

“You have to find them!” Past Edd shakily gets to his feet. He has a manic look in his eyes as he still holds his stomach. “Please, find them! He’s going to hurt them!”

Countless thoughts rush through Future Tom’s mind as he stares at Edd’s past self. It’s a look he knows all too well, the one Edd had when he confronted him about you leaving him.

“We'll do our best,” Future Tom tells him. He reaches behind him to grab ahold of Future Matt and takes off into the time portal.

“Red Leader is really not going to be happy about this,” Future Matt says quietly.

“I know but there’s not much we can do now. We just have to find their past self before Edd does something stupid. Both Edds.”

Future Tom really, really hoped neither Edd fucked up the timeline more than it’s already been.

It'd been so long since Edd has gotten to see you like this. Young and happy, holding his past self's hand. It makes his heart ache. He wanted to be able to do that with you. He wanted to be able to brush his cheek against yours and have you lean to kiss him.

Edd missed it when you loved him like this. But he never blamed you for falling out of love with him a little. He does his best, loving you enough to make up for it.

Always stocking your shared little hideout home with your favorite foods and drinks. Always making sure you were comfortable despite the handcuff and chain keeping you stuck in one room. Always making sure to kiss your face when he got home.

He wished he could give you better than the small home.

As he tailed his past self, he couldn't help the anger rising in his chest. If only Tord had never come back and blown up the house.

If only his friends hadn't decided that his love was too much for you. Edd would never forgive them for turning to Tord's side. And he'd especially never forgive Tord for deciding that he was "concerned" for you.

You were perfectly fine in his care! All you had ever needed was him. Why couldn't any of them understand that? It was because of them that he had to keep you in such a small place.

But none of that mattered because, with his time travel device, he was going to make sure they could never try to take you away from him again.

9. “The most safest place in the world is with me.”

10. “Why do you keep trying to run away?”

“Oh Edd,” Tord sighs. “Here we are, once again.”

Edd refuses to look at him. He stares at his shoes and stays quiet.

“Nothing to say? That’s a first. You’re usually so talkative when I have you in my grasp again.”

Again, nothing. Tom squeezes his shoulder the same time Matt squeezes his wrist, but Edd is done. He’s tired. His eyes feel heavy and he just wants to close his eyes and be far away from here.

“Look at me when I’m talking to you!”

The bright red of Tord’s arm enters Edd’s vision before his chin is being gripped by the cold metal. His head is yanked up, eyes being forced to stare at Tord’s cold, silver eye.

“Why do you keep trying to run away? Have I not given you everything you could’ve ever wanted? Do I not keep you safe, far away from everyone who’d love to do nothing more than gut you and mail me your head?”

Edd flinches and tries to pull his head away but Tord’s grip doesn’t falter.

“You know why,” he says. “You absolutely know perfectly why I keep trying to get the hell away from you.”

Tord’s brow furrows. “Ah yes, your stupid reasoning. What was it he said last time, Tom?”

“Which time? The one where he said you were too clingy? Or the one where he screamed that you were treating all of us like fragile pets?”

Tom rubs Edd’s shoulder with his thumb as discreetly as he can, like he does every time he wants to apologize for the words coming out of his mouth. They've all been through this song and dance. But Edd doesn’t care anymore.

He grits his teeth and glares at Tord. “And where am I going after this again? Back to the stupid underground bunker? You always talk like you’re keeping me safe, but each time you leave me under dirt and concrete. Alone with whatever you decide to leave me with and come to mock me whenever you’ve decided I’ve had enough alone time.”

At this, Tord’s gaze softens. But only slightly.

He lets go of Edd’s chin to place both hands on his shoulders, right alongside one of Tom’s.

“No, that was my mistake. I’ve learned now that the safest place in the world is with me. Besides, why would I put you back into the place that you’ve figured out how to break out of four times?” He smirks at Edd. “No no no, that wouldn’t do. Instead, you’re going to stay by my side with Tom and Matt. Can’t escape if you’re never alone for a second. Tom, Matt, set him down on the couch and get back to work. I think it’d be good for Edd to think about his next move very carefully.”

Edd shuddered and Tord’s smile grew wider. He gives Edd a gentle pat on his cheek before moving away to sit at his desk. Tom and Matt waste no time pulling Edd to the small couch in the room.

Once Edd’s sitting down, they move to their own desks in the room. He goes back to staring at his shoes but every so often when he glances up, someone is looking at him.

Each time he catches someone’s eye, Tord smiles at him, still angry but with a glimmer of amusement in his eye. Tom looks away from him back to his work. And Matt stares back with an unreadable expression until Edd looks back at the ground. It’s clear to him what his next move will be. He can’t leave, not today and maybe not even a month from now.

He just has to wait things out, before he can really plan how to get away again. A thought can’t help but drift through his mind. Maybe he should’ve told his past self the truth, instead of telling the kid that Cola was banned. Would that have prevented all this? Edd wasn’t sure, but now that he had nothing to do, he couldn’t help but dig through his memories and remember the terror he had felt when he was in his past self’s shoes.

Oh well. It was done. But maybe he could try to steal a time travel device again? No one would suspect him of trying something twice. It would have to wait though because Tord was staring at him again. Scratch that, he was glaring.

“I can feel the stupidity coming off you in waves. Stop whatever half-baked plan you’re thinking of before it gets you hurt.”

Edd glared back at him. “I am literally just sitting here and you’re harassing me.”

Tord’s eye twitches and he huffs before going back to work.

Edd rolls his eyes and leans back on the couch. He closes his eyes and finally gives in to his deep urge to sleep.
