#ya girl is back at it again with the film nerd fuckery #rip to my friend who had to listen to me basically recite conrad veidt’s wikipedia page from memory #but seriously those movies are genuinely good #and (personally) history is really hard but there’s a lot of art that I like such as these films #and since they’re old(er) I like to look up and learn about the context in which they were created and voila history starts making sense at #least a bit. and now as a bonus I have fun facts to tell people #german expressionism #weimar republic #weimar cinema #ky’s gallery
