Jake Solomon, diretor criativo de XCOM, recentemente negou que estaria trabalhando em um novo jogo da franquia.
Em entrevista ao VGC, Jake disse que está completamente focado nos conteúdos de Marvel’s Midnights Suns, título da Firaxis Games, que foi lançado em dezembro do ano passado:
“Não tenho informações sobre isso agora e digo isso porque, na verdade, ontem eu estava trabalhando nas roupas da abadia de Morbius. Não tenho nenhuma agenda secreta, não sei nada sobre o XCOM neste momento.”
Vale lembrar que XCOM: Chimera Squad é o título mais recente da franquia e foi lançado em 2020. Recentemente, a Firaxis Games também anunciou que estava trabalhando em conteúdos adicionais para o RPG tático da Marvel.

A new trailer has been released for XCOM: Chimera Squad, which is set to release April 24, 2020.
After years of alien rule, humanity won the war for Earth. But when the Overlords fled the planet, they left their former soldiers behind. Now, five years after the events of XCOM 2, humans and aliens are working together to forge a civilization of cooperation and coexistence.
Welcome to City 31, a model of peace in a post-invasion world. However, not all of Earth’s inhabitants support interspecies alliance. Chimera Squad, an elite force of human and alien agents, must work together to destroy the underground threats driving the city toward chaos.
Your agents are unique: each of them equipped with special tactical abilities and driven by a different motivation for joining Chimera Squad. Deploy targeted team members to investigate and combat the dangers that pervade the districts of City 31.

It’s been a good long while without making justxcomthings posts, and now with a new game I’m opening things back up for submissions.
That said --because not everyone is going to be hopping onto the new game immediately-- I will be delaying any XCOM: Chimera Squad posts until May 24th, 2020 (one month from it’s release date).
Spoilers will appropriately tagged with #end game, #spoilers, or #final mission tags. All XCOM: Chimera Squad posts will be tagged #XCOMChimeraSquad

Stay Home. Make Mods. - Final Week Wrap-up
Our Stay Home. Make Mods. event has now come to close, I hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did. In Week 4 (27th April - 3rd May) we saw [b]310[/b] entries - a new high! There were also new records set in the number of authors taking part ([b]246[/b]) and the number of different games we saw mods from ([b]69[/b]). Thank you all! We'd love to hear your thoughts on this event so please check out the survey towards the bottom of this article.
This was a very strong week for Bethesda titles, with Skyrim and Skyrim Special Edition making up the largest shares. Overall however, Bannerlord still comes out on top with 17.4% of the 1,221 entries across the entire event.

[quote]Replaces Clairvoyance with a more convenient and immersive spell to help you find your way.[/quote]Clairvoyance is an early game spell I often forget I have while playing Skyrim. I do remember using it pretty heavily in first ever play-through on the Xbox 360, but not so much in more recent games. The replacement spell added by this mod summons a friendly Wisp to guide you, rather the the magical line of the original spell. I find this much better for immersion as it makes more sense that you summon a magic creature that knows the way, rather the just somehow being able to highlight the correct path. I can see this being very useful if you play without using the map or quest markers.
