I say thanks and go there. A bit unsure, I buy all the drinks from Charles and get my go-to card. Chongyun. I give him the most refreshing of the drinks (the mint) as a treat. Chongyun and his luck has been good to me. I trust him.

He sits in one of the seat. I think he’s happy.

Then I go on to wish. Ten, and only ten. I have the 90 pity, yet I may loose the 50/50

Venti comes, my game dies. I open it again. I check. My Venti is there. I’m happy, I’ve wanted him for forever.

I didn’t, however, expect a thing: Jean came too.

I didn’t get to see her coming, but when I checked, there she was. I upped 5 lvls. for Chongyun. May he give you some luck too.

I’ve heard stories before. Of people switching the character in world while doing the gacha as a way to attract luck. To wishing literally in the middle of battle. To doing the strangest things.

I didn’t believe those stories until Chongyun got home.

Listen. Maybe this shouldn’t be in the main tag but I have the wackiest of lucks in gacha. I’ve saw things with my own two eyes that defy probability. I want you to listen.

Zhongli’s banner was out and I got Chongyun in the 10 shots. I’m not exactly excited, but he’s here right? May use him for something.

I focused in farming Bolide set for the past two weeks, so I didn’t use Chongyun for anything. I would have kept doing it if it wasn’t for having a bad luck strike of two days. I literally farmed for two days and I got one 4 stars artifact that wasn’t even from Bolide.

I decided to up Filsch, so I level the Cryo boy up to 40 so I can farm Hypostasis (he’s together with Kaeya, XiangLing and Amber who are good so I’m not worried he’s just there for extra damage.) I hate that frigging cube cuz it’s always giving me sh-t artifacts. No 4 stars, no gladiator set. Lost a week of my life there.

I say to myself “I kinda need a Wandered clock or goblet… and a electro crown.” I open the flower with Chongyun just because.

Just guess what happened? GUESS WHAT HAPPENED

First: The clock from Wanderer, than the crown, he gives me TWO gladiator’s artifacts.

I make Kaeya open one. Nothing.

I change for Chongyun and. He. Keeps. Going. Wanderer, Gladiator, some other stuff I-

So I throw him in the Bolide temple. Yes, Cryo boy is going against Cryo slimes.

HE GETS ME TWO BOLIDE CLOCKS I’M ABOUT TO SLAP HIM

His luck failed me only once until now, but for the amount of farming I did I don’t give a frog.

Then I decide to make some wishes. I’ve done I think 2 sets of 10 before yesterday, so today is my last 10. I’ve been crying for Xinyan to come home the whole time, but she refused.

So. I heard the stories. Why not? I set Chongyun over the cursed Bolide set temple and say “please Xinyan come home.”

Played an oneshot yesterday, my character died… but it was pretty epic lol.

Like, the party was trying to make a stand against a horde of monsters, and after the eighth round, we were free to leave, but we were so ahead in the enemy field that it turned out to be lowkey impossible.

Some were making haste and scaping, but some not… and here’s the thing: I hate to leave anyone behind. No matter which character I’m playing as, I always find a way for them to have a reasoning to stay. So, while my character was on a damned horse with a frigging prince, and leaving said prince’s wife behind, I just went like “nope lol”, jumped of the horse and tried to tailor a plan for her to escape.

However, as there were a SHITTON of enemies, she ended up knocked out first. There would be no way for her to get up after that without anyone dragging her out, so I infortunately couldn’t save her… but I still had my plan.

The DM wasn’t weighting our equipament, so I bought 20 granades just for the lols.

6d6 of damage for each granade.

BUT I DIED FIRST (got a crit that sent me directly to the arms of… who knows what since there were no gods at the time lol), so I had to make a last man’s wish before death.

Please let me explode this shitton of granades I’ve been carrying around.

Which was accepted yay!

And while technicaly you CAN reduce the 6d6 damage to half, DM just went “eh” and didn’t even roll.

So I got to roll a 120d6 of damage.

120d6.

(Also I may add I was playing with a character that had a talent that allowed me to attack with two weapons in the same turn, and I had rolled two crits at the same time (18 and 19 with a rapier and a short sword) so yeah)

HEYYY!!! WHO WANTS TO HEAR MY GACHA STORY????

So, you may not know, but I’m the type of person who talks with my cookies. And when Cocoa’s costume got out, I was hyped as heck; and as I had been farming rainbow cubes (around 14,000 and something), I thought: “oh, alright, I can get her.”

I didn’t.

And I told that little hot cocoa addict: OHHH, YOU KNOW WHAT??? I’M GONNA GET YOUR COSTUME, JUST YOU WAIT. (I had enough stars, but I wanted it through the gacha, not buying) LET’S MAKE A DEAL, SHALL WE??? I UPGRADE YOU TOP TIER, EVEN THE CANDY AND PET, YOU GIVE ME WHAT I WANT!!!!

Fast forward some time, it’s 25th of January, 2020, like 1 am, and I decided to try the gacha again. My mom, who also plays the game, got the Night Raven costume (which I absolutely adore and desires), so I was a bit upset. Plus, I could buy twice on the gacha only, so I wasn’t pretty confident.

But Cocoa knew I gave my everything to keep my promise, oh boy I did. I even got her the fanciest candy’s blessing, there wasn’t a single thing she could complain.

I went to buy the goddamn gacha of her. It got on fire, Strawberry, Gingerbright, all the cheerleaders were there, which usually means only one thing: you got the NICE ™ costume. I was hyped like heck, the deal worked! But then I remembered how mom got Raven’s costume. Through Moonlight/Prophet/Blueberry Pie thing. And I was like “oh she isn’t…”

FREAKING HECK THE GAME GAVE ME THE MOONLIGHT’S AURORA WHATEVER ON COCOA’S GACHA??!?? WHY??!!? (Ok, it was nice, I didn’t have it, but still!!!!)

I flipped. I pushed my pride aside, bought her costume. I still had one gacha left. I aimed at Blueberry (Had on lv. 7 now, thought she would like some costume.) Gingerbrave went, alone. He panicked, crashed (I felt it, I was exactly like that in that moment lol) and still went for it. (What an example.)

I casually said: “oh, well damn, it’s probably full of not really nice costumes. It’s alright, I guess. Had a good one, the game wouldn’t probably give me another fancy costume, right?

RIGHT????

If I remember correctly, it was Vampire’s Lion thing, Gingerbrave’s Tuxedo, Ninja’s Mummy, something I can’t record (I was going a bit fast, wanted to sleep), and the last one. Oh, the last one.

It glowed, I first thought “well, Bluberry’s a blue one, maybe…” but it seemed to take a little longer than a blue would (I don’t know if this is accurate, just personal impression). Then my train of thought went: “oh, maybe a purple one? Was Prophet a pur-“ and the red thing just SITTED IN THE MIDDLE OF HALL, I WENT FULL CHOCKED PIKACHU MEME AND…

THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MOON

*KEYSMASH* I GOT CRESCENT COSTUME (which I had). ON THE SAME NIGHT. FOLLOWED BY FULL MOON.

Now I’m sitting here, after dressing Cocoa with her cozy costume and just wondering why things like this happens with me.

TL;DR: Cookie Run’s gacha sttabed me twice: once, leading me to believe I’ll get my beloved Cocoa’s fancy costume, and then I got Full Moon costume, and right after, leading me to believe I wouldn’t receive a single nice thing and giving me Crescent’s costume. (While I honestly didn’t want any of them.)

Hello? Can I talk about how every single one of the new costumes are absolutely top notch???

Whipped Cream and that freaking crown, the frills remember a tutu plus the pearls pretty much resume his theme, the soft purple/ blue suits him so much! The cape (?) sort of remembers, at least to me, two wings. They also stayed with the stripes (sort of) from the design. (I know they’re not stripes, I mean the pink and white swirls.)

Birthday Cake remains with her candles, and looks gorgeous with the colors! Simple black and white stripes with the pink roses, at first it seems it would take a lot from her (I mean, birthday cakes tend to be really colorful), but she’s so chic and absolutely lovely! The moment you look at her, it goes “oh, fancy tea party” and that’s pretty much it.

And DJ. Ok, hands down, DJ’s costume is probably my favorite. It justs fits so well with their personality, the colors from the clothing sort of remain softly on the feather boa (?), I also thought it would be a sort of disaster with so much of the clothing to be black, but it just creates a nice constrast between the eyes and the boa, + the party hat and a party blower (very chill and festive vibes, in a more fun way) also constrast with a sort of more informal with the suit being more formal. (Also I love the hair tied-up like that!!!)
