Over the past 42 years, Reaganomics has moved over 60,000 factories and nearly 20 million good-paying manufacturing jobs overseas.

It’s cut taxes on billionaires to the point they pay an average 3.4% income tax (when they pay anything at all: Trump, taking in billions, paid $750 a year for almost two decades).

Reagan’s policies destroyed the American union movement and stole $51 trillion from working-class people, putting almost every penny of it into the money bins of the GOP’s morbidly rich patrons.

The MAGA Party (formerly known as Republican Party) serves the interests of their right-wing billionaire donors/owners. The sham SCOTUS is bought and paid for - corrupted by the insane amounts of legalized bribery available since the destructive democracy-killing Citizens United decision.

Happy World Chocolate Day?

Well, not if you're one of the >1.6 million kids slaving away in West Africa (or Brazil or Latin America) for up to 14 hours/day, sometimes literally as slaves, under dangerous conditions, to produce the majority of the chocolate sold by the major candy companies, including Mars Wrigley, Ferrero, Mondelez International, Meiji Co. Ltd., Nestle and Hershey Co.

In 2021, SCOTUS ruled 8-1 that Big Chocolate had no responsibility to ensure that their products were not produced by child laborers.

Adelheid Popp : Écrivaine autrichienne féministe et socialiste, membre de la IIe internationale. En 1982 elle est rédactrice en chef du Journal des ouvrières et une des dirigeantes du mouvement socialiste autrichien, elle défendait l'égalité salariale et politique des femmes. Bête noire des autorités, elle fut arrêtée et traduite en justice à de nombreuses reprises. La jeunesse d'une ouvrière est son œuvre majeure.

He was beaten and taken to the edge of town where he was lynched and hanged from a railroad trestle. A note with the words “First and last warning” was pinned to his thigh, referring to earlier vigilantes giving people three warnings to stop objectionable actions. An estimated 10,000 workers lined the route of his funeral procession, which was followed by 3,500 more persons. He was buried in Butte’s Mountain View Cemetery. It started with Ronald Reagan in the early 1980′s and continues to this day.  They’ve siphoned off $50 trillion in wealth from the middle and working class Americans.  All going to the top one percent.  An all-out war by the wealthiest Americans to “put us in our place”.

Asja Lācis (1891-1979) : artiste et militante lettone, a joué un rôle important dans le mouvement artistique de l'avant-garde en Europe au début du XXe siècle.

Elle étudie l'art à Saint-Pétersbourg et à Moscou, où elle est influencée par les idées révolutionnaires de l'époque. Bolchévique dans les années 1920, elle monte des troupes de théâtre prolétariennes pour les enfants et des spectacles d'agitprop dans la Russie soviétique et la Lettonie. Elle a coécrit des œuvres d'importance telles que "Kuhle Wampe", explorant les thèmes de la pauvreté et de la lutte des classes.

En 1938 elle est arrêtée par la police stalinienne et elle est envoyée dans un camp de travail au Kazakstan, elle y reste dix ans jusqu'en 1948. De 1950 à 1957, elle est directrice du Valmiera Drama Theatre.
