On our coins and dollars, this great country of ours, with all its faults and sins, wisely proclaims IN GOD WE TRUST. This is hard work. These times try our souls and build our spiritual muscles. I stand and kneel with you in prayer. In all things, I give thanks to God whose ways are so far above ours. Say it with me now. Thank you, Lord. Even if you don't feel it. Jesus knows our thoughts and our desires. We are children of God. Let's act like it. Not with irresponsible actions we see among some of our brothers and sisters, especially those who encourage others to act without regard to their fellow citizens (God has strong words for those, see Matthew 18:6). Let us act like children who know that our Father loves us, holding nothing back, and trust Him. What joy our trust brings Him.
