Cladding is on and our gyprocker has been busy getting the gyprock on around the Victorian Ash timber feature beams and working on the coffered ceiling. The coffered ceiling is going to look amazing with the feature lighting installed.

Why Build a Custom Home?
Building a custom home is a chance for all your dreams and visions to become a reality; it means you have the power to decide on every little detail: the layout, the room sizes, the finishes, and even the appliances. The end result allows you and your family to live within in a home the provides for a lifestyle that suits you – with everything you want at your fingertips.
Custom homes do take longer than project homes, but good things come to those who wait, and your patience will certainly be rewarded. There's nothing like that feeling when your keys are handed over and you walk inside your completed dream home for the first time.
3 Reasons to Build a Custom Home
1. Freedom
Building a custom home gives you freedom to choose and decide on everything – from the sizes of the rooms, materials and finishes through to finer details like the colour of paint!
You'll have greater control over the entire project because everything is based on your ideas, vision and preferences. At the end of the day, what matters most is that you're happy!
2. Tailor-Made
A custom home is tailor-made for you, according to your taste, personality and preferences. This means you have a voice throughout the entire project, giving you the opportunity to make changes and adjustments that you see fit.
With a custom home, you can ensure that your house will be unique and bears a certain quality and character and personality that comes from you. At the end of the day, you can truly call it YOUR home.
3. Quality Assurance
You can be assured of your home's quality because you have a say on the standard everything that is used in its construction. You'll also be kept up to date with each stage, ensuring there are no hiccups along the way.
You can choose the materials to use and select the features that you do, or don't want included. This also means you won't waste space and money on features that won’t benefit you and your family!
Things to consider before building a custom home:
Budget is crucial because some materials and plans you have in mind might cost more than expected.
Building a custom home takes a lot of time and decision-making, so you need to be available and involved with the project every step of the way.
You need to engage an experienced builder who will guide you on construction matters and processes so you can create a realistic plan to build the custom home you’ve been envisaging.
With the right designer and builder by your side, building a custom home to suit your individual needs will be much easier than you might have thought!
