i just love the Strilondes bc like. At first glance you would think Dave is mostly like Dirk and Rose is mostly like Roxy. But you gotta flip it turnways, actually.

Dirk and Rose are both very closed-off in most situations, and this usually results in people doubting their sincerity a lot of the time. Their intelligence is immediately obvious to anyone who talks to them for more than a second, and they both have a tendency to think they know what's best for other people. But ultimately, they care so much about their friends/family that they're both willing to die if they think it will help them in some way (Rose deciding to go on a suicide mission so her friends can survive vs. Dirk letting Dave behead him to stop one of the jacks)

On the other hand, Dave and Roxy are both very physically affectionate people by nature who will go off on random tangents completely unrelated to their original point. They're both sort of spacey and lighthearted, but at the same time were some of the most dedicated players of their sessions (Dave straight up prototyping himself to make sure the alpha timeline stayed on track vs. Roxy being the 'shadow leader' of the alpha kids' session, and basically being the glue that held them all together)
