Long day at work. (Wereleafling) Olimar can't seem to catch a break, but Lou' happens to love big shaggy monsters, so taxing secrets like these even out in the end. Imagine finding this in the breakroom.

I also drew my wereleafling Olimar for a pinup zine (and honestly some practice for commissions). I'm not sure how to feel about the fact that I've done this, but hey, it was a very fun exercise. If you enjoy it, enjoy. [Also, go look at the other portrait post I made just now. I am even more proud of it].

I love your wereleafling olimar so much and I got a question how does olimar feel about that?
I have a LOT of lore in progress for how Olimar's curse came about, and how it works. With much vagueness: resentful, but resigned. In this AU, the deity (deities?) alluded to throughout the games are very much real and very temperamental, but otherwise champion Olimar for the sake of a good story and don't let him die very easily. He made some bad choices. He's come to terms with his lapse in judgment, even though he thinks he should have been cut some slack for all the stress. Not your traditional werebeast. Gentle inspiration from LOZ: Twilight Princess, somewhere in there. All of it has really helped him identify the tacit joy and purpose in survivalism, and it gives him an excuse for wanting to go back to the planet (which he's not too happy with himself for).
(Please ask more. It makes me SO happy!)

Does his family knows about his condition?
No; Louie is the only one who is aware of the specifics behind Olimar's condition, and also the only person with a good idea of how it works. Lou' comes in clutch pretty often, but doesn't mind handling it. Olimar's curse flares up under stress. As an office worker with a short temper, it's a hard life. He's started hiding in his room or taking long walks outside when he gets grumpy. Olimar's wife believes that this is because he's either avoiding his family and wants to be away, or is avoiding upsetting them out of guilt for having been away. The last thing Olimar wants is to accidentally hurt his family. Penultimate: to realise that family life won't ever feel normal again. A lot of his behaviour is avoidance. There have been a few close calls. His daughter is a little wary. His son is just frustrated. . . But they're not unhappy or unsafe, and everybody is still having a good time together.

For that one person who liked a few wereleafling posts just now and for all of the others that I've had to leave in the dark out of the blue, expect even more good art and loreposts soon. I still love Pikmin and have a lot on my mind about it. Exam month is upon me, and thus, I am due for egregious levels of (worthwhile and admittedly healthy) (")procrastination(") (that isn't sleeping forever (I may be napping right now though.))
(The awful parentheses amuse me.)
