We took Snorri to the vet yesterday for his first checkup with our vet. She confirmed that he's totally blind in one eye and needs dental work (he wouldn't be a pug if he didn't need some teeth removed 😅). We were a little concerned that his hind end was weak, so she took some x-rays. Good news: no back problems! Bad news: she thinks he got hit by a car or something because the joint socket for his left hind leg is completely gone, so the bone is just kind of floating around. Poor boy! Welcome home, Snorri! Snorri (né Martin) was found wandering the side of the road and rescued by @pugrescueofsacramento. The poor baby was skin and bones (we can still see his ribs, but we'll fatten him right up!), not house broken, and didn't know what to do on walks when he arrived at his foster family.
