This is pretty specific, but does your Operator(s) have their own personal/operational callsign or codename, or simply went by "Operator"? Did they use it as their own name before they found out about their real one after waking up from the Second Dream, or did they always know/use their real name and/or real self all along?

(Warframe headcanon that has spoilers for The Second Dream and the continuing main quests past that)
Fun Operator headcanon to think about:
Since the Operators communicate with other Tennos via in-game chats but ofc its not necessarily explained lore wise (as far as I know) I'm thinking it was all in their conciousness.
Using some kind of advanced far reaching telepathy all across the Origin System that comes naturally to them to engage with each other. That's why we can see our squadmates healths and everything. Maybe it's all interconnected with Lotus' powers and she acts like a hub that extends to all Tennos? Who knows, it just works for them.
Now imagine if their Void powers when combined together they can host other than chat channels, they also host game servers for funsies. Visualizing it all so vividly at the same time creating their own game simulation. Since I haven't got enough standings with Cephalon Simaris yet idk if the games we can buy from him like Frame Fighter has multiplayer or works that way.
Minecraft servers or Among Us servers would be a blast for them during breaks between missions. Popular past time activity among them and bonding time as well other than killing that is. Dojos also hosts their own game servers resulting in missions being delayed en-masse lol from the all nighters they pulled to build a huge Minecraft builds or messing with each other as impostors or crewmates.
Dungeons & Dragons with other Tennos across the Origin System maybe but they call it something else and to Lotus' dismay as they contribute mostly playing to avoid missions may take them for days to complete and they are committed to roleplay and completing it resulting in them showing up at each others sleepovers in their orbiters with elaborate LARP costumes they spent days to gather resources for just imagine them having fun times and their Warframes watching and rooting for them even helps them roleplay for immersion

*DUVIRI SPOILERS* The real reason why Teshin is in Duviri:
The DE Team™ has made it pretty clear that the Duviri quest/storyline is about abusive cycles, and finally asking for help.
The reason why Teshin is seen there, is because he refused to ask for help. We see Teshin in the Murex ship, during The New War, having flashbacks to a very complicated, and painful time in his life.
He didn't heal, let alone take the time to ask for help.
That's why he's there with the Drifter.
He's now old, and retired. He learned his lesson, now Drifter needs to learn the same.
(I'm assuming he's still old because of the void poison thing, along with it being a metaphor, but I digress.)

nidus maggot theory 2, part 1 here. Branches off this theory
The following theory is based on the presumption that Nidus utilises parthenogenesis (a form of asexual reproduction) to produce Ravenous maggots. There are mentions of typically female anatomy when referring to the masculine frame in question, as well as inferences to miscarriage and other complications of pregnancy. Proceed at your own discretion.
Anyone familiar with Nidus’ abilities knows he can summon a bunch of lil exploding maggots as a method of crowd control. It takes 3 mutation stacks to activate one instance of Ravenous (9 maggots). Looking at how Nidus gains stacks, we can guess it's possibly nutrition absorbed with his abilities.
Presuming the maggots are little underdeveloped clones of Nidus, they could develop in a sort of “womb”. Initially I imagined the maggots grew in any spare cavity within Nidus, and escaped out the open flared stacks. However the general morphology of Nidus is.. a lil scrungly once he's flaring up, possibly exposing the maggots before they're ready to attack (maybe an explosive risk to Nidus). With a womb that is flexible and can shift with Nidus’ mutating body, this can keep the maggots safe until deployment.
For example, in some species (such as dogs) the uterus is actually more intestine-like in shape. In this case, the womb is called a uterine horn.
Maybe 3 mutation stacks are needed to quickly develop a uterine horn with 9 notches for each maggot.
This is not to say Nidus develops uterine horns when he obtains stacks, but he chooses to consume them when creating the horn. As stacks are used for the Parasitic Link too, the Link is probably a malformed umbilical cord. With control over the Infestation Nidus can control if it's just to redirect damage and chemicals like cortisol, or to share positive chemicals between it.
I think for a Nidus that actually wants to raise maggots, forcibly expelling mutations is extremely draining on their body. It may be a new womb every time but having to regenerate that while juggling between feeding and fighting must be so stressful. Linking can help with the strain and give Nidus more strength but it's never long term.
If a Nidus has actually carried maggots full term, and is captured and forced to use underdeveloped maggots offensively, it could greatly traumatise them.
Without routine maintenance done by Tenno foundry and arsenals, if a Nidus is continually forced to expel maggots it may cause a buildup of internal scarring, higher pain tolerance and fatigue, as well as a constant state of depression and aggression from erratic hormonal shifts. These symptoms and damage can be reversed with regular lobotomies to the infested brain, surgical removal of scar tissue, and more stims and energy restores.
A healthy, feral Nidus is one that can grow uterine horns with no worry of conflict or energy starvation during the gestation. A Nidus carrying can continue to provide enough energy for themselves and their maggots if they have another Nidus go hunting for stacks, and sharing a Link between them. Though Nidus can create viable maggots without another progenitor, there is a preference to pair bond with any other feral Nidus diversity and the aforementioned beneficial relationship.
The maggots grown during this time will have enough information for the “blueprint” to impart on their human host when ready to metamorphosise into a new Warframe. The survival rate of a viable maggot is very low, hence Nidus’ high count for clutches and spontaneous uterine horn production.

Intro
If you are like me, you don't only love Warframe for its fast paced, shooty jumpy slashy, intricate gear's customization gameplay. You also love it for its fascinating aesthetic and lore... buuuut we should address the elephant in the room. And that is, while Warframe has an interesting lore and a dark souls-esque approach to said lore (at least in the beginning, now we are getting more conventional story expositions with the cinematic quests)... DE kinda of flies by the seat of their pants. And I love them for that, they are always trying new ideas and aren't afraid of doing it. However, because of this same thing, they are like a kid with ADHD writing a story. They throw at the wall all the interesting ideas they get and only a few might stick. This is a fact of this game, it's fine once you accept it, and the most important thing is... since they are probably never going to address some missing details, WE GET FREE PASS TO MAKE UP OUR OWN SHIT! I mean seriously, it is pretty late in the game (hehe) for them to start addressing HOW is that the foundry and us making the warframes work IN-universe.
So with all that out of the way, this will be the purpose of this blog. Just me mussing over the blank spots in the lore that DE left behind in their adrenaline infused story writing rush. I am not the first one to do this, I won't be the last. This is just me scratching that world building itch that this fascinating world leaves in me.
Also I will admit since we are on it, I am not big on sci-fi. I like the genre, but I will admit that I have not consumed much of it. Warframe has a fascinating world for me but I will admit there might be other works out there that have similar unorthodox feels when it comes to sci-fi. DUNE comes to mind even if I don't know shit about it. But in the mainstream, most sci-fi is either Star Wars or Startreck in its style. Pristine spaceships with galactic federations and laser space fights and weird looking aliens that are still in some aspects human in their cultures. Warframe said, we are set in the solar system but so fucking far in the future that any semblance of "humankind" is gone, replaced with cultures and groups that you would find in a galaxy far, far away... But nope, it's our fucking solar system!
So anyway, enough rambling. Sit back and enjoy, it's time to ramble about Warframe.

Reddit once again delivers a really nice write-up about lore.
The Man in the Wall is Weak to Love
"The opposite of love is not hate; it is indifference."
- Elie Wiesel
The Man in the Wall is defeated, unironically, by the power of love. His goons are called "The Indifference", which is neither love nor hate, but rather a lack of feeling altogether. Let me break down the theory.
Albrecht was afraid of telling Loid how much he loved him, but this was more a symptom of his rigid Orokin upbringing than him being aware of the Man's weakness. Loid also was bitter over never hearing Albrecht say "I love you" ("I could never say to him the words he so needed to hear"). When the Man uses Albrecht's vessel to attack the Lab, only an act of love, a gentle caress of the face, repels him. This caress is the very same one Albrecht performed to Loid before he left; this makes Loid remember and understand just how much Albrecht loved him.
The Grimoire's final page is a love letter from Albrecht to Loid, and it is poison to the Man. He tries to get the page from the Tenno so that the Grimoire can't be completed because he knows that it is the one thing right now that can hinder his efforts. During Netracell missions, destroying the Man's minibosses (like the Mocking Whisper) will trap them within the Grimoire. Tagfer says that the Grimoire is a "predator", which could mean many things:
Love is depicted as not exactly positive in many mediums. In the Green Lantern series, Love is represented by an animalistic dragon entity called "The Predator". The Greeks depicted Eros using a bow and arrow as his weapon because they felt that love was "violent, all-consuming, it strikes you suddenly and drives you mad". In fact "Eros", or romantic love, was seen as a sickness or madness that plays a major part in Greek stories (and we know Warframe loves Greek roots, looking at Duviri). The Void itself is also a madness; perhaps Love is the counter-madness?
Additionally, Tagfer is currently suffering the loss of his mate Minn, who he loved very much. Albrecht was perhaps starting to realize that love is the cure for the Man in the Wall, and sent in Minn as an experiment to see if Tagfer's love would protect her or have some kind of effect. It could also be that Minn was targeted specifically by the Void because Tagfer loved her so much.
Albrecht never told his daughter Euleria (a.k.a Mother) how much he loved her, and they both suffered for it. His lack of outwardly-expressed love made him very vulnerable to the Void, so much so that he swore off of Kuva entirely because he was afraid that the Man had replaced him completely without him knowing.
In Duviri, it is love that cures the Void madness. The Drifter expresses empathy and kindness to Thrax, and this calms him down enough to stabilize the time loop and allow them to escape. Thrax is the Drifter themselves; by forgiving themselves and accepting what happened and loving themselves anyway, they are able to dissolve the Void trap keeping them in Duviri.
The Lotus' love shields the Tenno from the Man's escape at the end of The New War, despite the Void being literal poison to her Sentient body, she survives. The Man and a form of Albrecht are plucking the petals off of a lotus flower at the end of Whispers in the Walls, implying that they are going to target the Lotus herself and remove her love-protection from the Tenno.
Teshin loves the Tenno like they are his own children, just like the Lotus, and it is this love that enables him to survive and continue to assist the Tenno across The War Within, The Sacrifice, and The Duviri Paradox.
In the Zariman Incident, the parents of the children are driven mad by the Void and turned against their own offspring. Who loves more than a parent loves their child? The Void/the Man is aware of how powerful love is, especially when used against him, and seeks to turn it against people at any given opportunity before they wisen up and start to weaponize it.
In conclusion, love is the opposing force to Void energy.

some headcanon on Warframe creation and the like.
when we make a warframe we arent actually making a warframe, missions that give you warframe blueprints are actually you recovering actual parts of destroyed warframe from long ago.
we know that Natah talks a lot about how "tenno" are captured or found by various factions across the system, which to me reads as factions finding the remnants of warframes and hording them for whatever reason, and we're hunting them back down
we also know that a warframes are immortal in one of the highest calibers of the term, Umbra was im actual chunks when we found him and helminth had no trouble stitching him back together to the point the guy was ready to throw hands within no time at all
when you make the frame youre basically just giving everyones favorite sentient slime mold helminth the pieces of whoever it was that was destroyed in the past thousand years for whatever reason, along with whatever materials the thing needs to fix them up and get them going again
we know from Varzia that the Orokin would use aya and relics and whatever as basically the warehouse from the end of indana jones and the lost arc. anything they wanted to brush under the rug they would trap in the shrodingers cat weirdness of their relics, which raises some very interesting questions about why the prime frames were sealed away like that. We and the frames were their special little pet project super soldiers so why would they take the even better version of them and hide them away like that?
again, all of the warframes you can actually find in the system proper and recover are the baseline models, every single prime is from a relic, which again, the orokin used to hide things theyd rather forget existed.
I think the answer is that the orokin regreted making the primes, they werent controllable enough and they were afraid of them, so they locked them away and went back to making the less powerful frames, which were in use until we entered the second dream for a thousand years.
we know from the rhino delio that warframes weren't always passive and almost puppetlike as they are in the modern era, and balas himself says that our ability to preform transference with warframes is at its core because we are able to empathetically connect with the person inside the warframe and sync our minds with them, which doesn't mesh with the idea that our warframes except umbra are all mindless puppets.
I think the answer to what changed is just the sheer amount of time. the thousands of years between the old war and when natah wakes us up again isn't something that attention is given to but that is a monumental span of time. even for an immortal supersoldier. especially when you no longer have that mind meld connection with the godling whos void powers let you preform physics breaking feats.
i think that they just, as to quote jojo, "eventually, he stopped thinking".
they got broken, and were like that doe thousands of years, unlike umbra who was basically being constantly tortured with the memory of being forced to kill his own son and unable to go to sleep in the same way.
we give them to helminth to heal them and make them combat ready but they're still effectively in a coma, sleeping just like we used to be

Tam picked up juggling from vauban during the old war. it was one of a handful of secrets they managed to keep from the orokin.
they're both still a little cagey about others knowing, but they can be found juggling occasionally in a corner of the camp together

In some of the recently added lines, is it just me or does Ordis sound less like he's glitching and more like he's switching to Ordan's exact tone and speaking style?
Like...he first discovered his past the last time we left him alone for an extended period. Did the same thing happen during the gap in the New War?

My favorite Warframe moment: Finally waking up and being reunited with the old friend who has been by my side since the very beginning.
Experiencing The Second Dream for the first time was such a pivotal turning point in my Warframe journey. The quests leading up to it implied something big was coming and I wanted to figure out what it was, even though I wasn't 100% invested. But when I finally got there, I knew I was in for the long haul. The world. The story. The characters. I was immediately in love and I decided that I wanted to experience everything this game had to offer.
Congrats on 10 years, Warframe. Here's to 10 more.

got anymore blitzbee hc or aus?
Well, there is many thing i can incorporate BlitzBee into- and i do, it's my main ship and OTP.
Warframe!Bumblebee, Civil!Blitzwing and Cons Are Good AUs are the ones specifically for BlitzBee.
Part-Insecticon!Bee can also be BlitzBee. Crack AU also cna have osme romance going on. Cyberbeast AU is also a BlitzBee possibility.
I cna give you some stuff relating to either one of those of just plain on non-AU timeline i have.
Blitz loves to sculpt figurines of Bee, he especially enjoys carving out the little horns and eyes on the figurine and giving it that innocent yet divilish look. Of course, he always keeps that smirk on his faceplate when he's sculpting his aft or alt-mode's undercarriage.
Bee will never admit but he wants to be squished by Blitzwing. He's into it more than he likes but he just cannot deny the satisfacition and comfort and maybe pleasure of being pressed against his berth while Blitz lays on top of him full weight. This is the best type of cuddle they discovered so far.
In Part-Insecticon!Bee AU, Blitz helped Bee with therapy to regain control over his broken wings- he'd rub his back and massage some places if he was sore after therapy. Bee was ashamed of having his wings out like that, Blitzwing had very impressive and strong wings, he almost felt unworthy of showing what little he had to offer in return. He voiced it at some point when Blitz noticed he was sad and told him he'd love him no matter what and that wings or not don't matter. He didn't need them to make Blitz swoon for him and it won't change.
Warframe!Bee AU, Bee will defo sing viking-like songs be it from games or not. He likes to sing Skyrim's Dragonborn song when he's forging. Blitzwing will occasionally join him and they'll have fun, although Blitz can't sing for slag. He and Bee will also dance a lot- Be it slow dancing, normal boogie-woogie moving or a couple's dance. They love to dance to "For The Dancing And The Dreaming".
Whenever Optimus bakes something for the group. Bee makes sure he hides some of the treats to give to Blitzwing later. Blitz doesn't have access to any treats or fancy food except oil and some 'natural' rust sticks found in the scrap yard, so he loves when his hummel brings him something different to eat.
BlitzBee loves kisses, it's a human custom but a very enjoyable one. As one would assume they have their own version of french kiss, where Blitz would switch to his black face and shove his wormy glossa down Bee's intake. (Lucky Bee doesn't have a gag reflex cuz he ate whatever he found in trash as a Sparkling) Sometimes when Blitz is annoyed and rants about stuff Bee will leave a trail of kisses on his cheek before kissing him on the derma, which usually ends up in a make-out session and makes Blitz forget he was even upset.
Bee is very crafty, so if Blitzwing makes him figurines and sculptures of stuff ya know he's gonna return the favor. He takes broken glass, some scraps and wires and makes pretty little flowers out of them. He could even pull off stained glass picture if he really tried.
CUDDLES. Just that. They do it all the time. Literally the moment they see each other- instant hugs and cuddles. If Blitz is part of Autobot team, it's cuddles 24/7. He will not let go of Bee unless Bee really wants to. Blitz will hold Bee hostage in their berth when he wakes up at crack of dawn and make him wait for Blitz to wake up around 10. If he was repulsed to touch due to trauma before, now he can't let go.
Blitz will never tell his hummel he talks in his recharge. He'd be trying to fall into recharge himself when he hears murmurs coming from his beloved. It's so amusing, he will talk to him and actually get semi-coherent answers. He loves that if he hums, Bee will also start humming. It's like a midnight radio that he can interact with til he falls into recharge. It's also surprising cuz it apparently works to keep the nightmares away from Bee. If Bee starts to sound panicked Blitz would comfort him and he'll go back to resting peacefully.
Now that's about all i can come up with now. Thanks for the ask!

a little headcanon on Wisp's human-frame
I just watched a documentary on arm and leg transplant and their fresh, post-surgery scars reminds me of Wisp a whole lot. I won't show them here but you could look it up yourself if you want
Tumblr media
I believe Wisp's legs were amputated up to her thighs before she became a Warframe. As the helminth slowly took over her, the strain built her a new set of legs
Tumblr media
Her original helmet reminds me of cancer patients a lot too (sorry if I assumed things)... it looks like she's wearing a mask and her head looks shaven, perhaps she lost her legs to that? Perhaps her helminth experiment was initially to see if the strain could be used as a breakthrough in medicine and living prosthetics? I dunno man it's 1 am
