“britt? you’re actually okay?” after radio silence from brittany during all of the chaos quinn had been stuck assuming the worst. then again, even if she couldn’t easily say her friend was particularly smart brittany did manage to make things work out for her, just in her own, unique way. maybe quinn didn’t want to even know what brittany had done to get by. still, she couldn’t help but feel a little frustrated. “where the fuck were you? everything was insane.” maybe she was being too harsh, but quinn had been worried, and that tended to translate into frustration or anger from her.

sella knew the second she left her safe house that she should have stayed inside. she didn’t know what kind of creatures these were but she needed to go, she needed to find her mother, to make sure that she was safe. the rest of her family had been accounted for, but she was the only one she couldn’t reach. she moved, trying to avoid the major streets, but as she did, another creature jumped out in front of her, causing the girl to scream. sella leaned down to try and throw whatever she could at it, knowing if she just landed one hit she might be able to buy herself time to run.
