I'm very normal about the fact that Texas Michael has a cowboy Ty with him? The concept of the two of them actually being able to reach some sort of legitimate friendship without the horrifying power imbalances of Ty's role with the Flinchites looming directly over them? How did cowboy Ty even get out? Is it the same Ty that freed Michael in the first place? Did he runaway to come and find him? Did he iterate himself to do it or just up and leave the Flinchites? Is he a different rogue Ty that Michael just like, found?

I hope they watch cowboy movies together and that Michael is teaching him to play an instrument and that Ty whoops everybody's ass at poker.

oh man, i know this is a daily occurrence. marius honed his puppy eye pleading emoji skills from childhood and giann deffo gave in EVERY SINGLE TIME.

mannnnn, here marius is quite adamant about believing in the religion of Imana (here, he talks to chief of the tribe about his dream perhaps being a prophecy from the god of the rainforest) and this paired with SSR In The Darkness where marius also believed in Nosta's religion like.

idk, it's very refreshing (like, compared to luke who is constantly saying "ah, gods are not real and will not help us, i'll do things myself, im an atheist" which is very compelling to me given that so much of luke's behavior just has SUCH religious vibes i.e. catholic guilt, lol. make no mistake, luke is never disrespectful. he just does not have an ounce of religious faith in him. which fits him VERY MUCH.) and it's a beautiful thing to see, marius' openness to the stories and gods of different culture and concepts like fate and destiny.

marius: yeah, god is real. all gods are. and all of them have something to teach us, something we can learn.

luke: whats a god? fuck that. and if any god is real, i'll fistfight them behind a 7/11 because look what theyve done to us.

i think i wanna write an analysis on this actually. luke vs. marius irt to religious faith and why they both act like this. luke instinct towards skepticism and marius' instinct towards belief.
