The waiting room was crowded, too crowded and blonde found herself feeling out of place very quickly. Like she didn’t belong amongst the family and friends of the Volkovs. At least that was whom she assumed most them were, from the way they all seemed a little too on edge -- idly awaiting every time a doctor entered the room. It all felt too real, too final and the feeling of drowning threatened to consume her whole. So instead she pulled herself from the chair and made her way down the corridor, on her way to the paramedics bay where she knew she could find a quiet corner to herself, or even a shower in the very least. The day had been long, leaving Isabella physically exhausted, mentally drained and emotionally numb. Stopping at the vending machine on her way, the blonde went about swiping her card before pressing the corresponding button; the machine answering with a series of mechanical whirrs as the muesli bar was pushed from it’s row and clattered into the drawer below. But instead of moving she just stared, unmoving, lost in the abyss of her own mind. The way you look at him… That’s not how you look at your fuckin’ friends. Asher words were harsh as they replayed over and over in her head; ignorance was bliss until it wasn’t. However, the sudden sound of incoming footsteps had her moving again, reaching down to pull the item from the machine before she stood once more, hand extending toward the other before she had so much as turned her attention their way. “Hey, you’re not hungry by chance are you? I'm just really... not.”
