Vocafamilies - Kagamine Family

Kagamine (鏡音) Len, Age 34

His surname is written (鏡音).  This guy now isn’t as much as a buzzkill, uptight and tsundere as he was when he was 14. These past 20 years he had mellowed out in personality. Hangit out and eventually confessing his feelings for Rin made expressing his feelings and intention much easier for him and in extent, make him much more relaxed, nice, go with the flow, and pretty much a more pleasant person than he was 20 years ago. Still, he kept his not so vexing personality like his fondness for tidyness, as you can see by how he dressed - Very Sharp. His hair is also “tamed” into a slick back combed hair (How much time required to do that is currently unknown...). He’s the responsible adult figure in the vocafamilies after Meiko, which says a lot considering how far apart they are in age and in personality.

Kagamine Rin (鏡根), Age 34

Her surname is written (鏡根) This girl didn’t change. At all... Okay, maybe not much personality-wise, but skill-wise she’s a more competent person all around. She’s proficient in many domestic works, she’s more punctual when it comes to her schedules, and most of all, she now knows when the time for jokes and when to get serious. Which says a lot considering... She’s Rin. Due to her funny-fun and happy-hap personality she’s arguably the most popular auntie figure in the vocafamilies. She’s also a memer, old and new, which she’d try to teach to the vocakids. Her success in that matter is... variable...

Kagamine Renji, Age 8

Face he got from his father, Len and personality he got from his mother, Rin. Renji is the child combination born when Len and Rin love each other very much... He’s Arashi’s (Kaito and Miku’s son) best friend and their friendship is akin to Miku and Rin’s friendship 20 years ago, making the friendships going 2 generations strong. He has a slight jealousy towards his twin younger brother and sister due to them taking his spotlight as the baby of the group. He cares about them, just doesn’t show it much, (Wonder he got that tsundere-ness from...) He’d make friend with everybody but be very wary of girls, because he still thinks they’ll give him cooties. But he doesn’t think he’ll get it from his mother or sister, for some reason... His way of thinking is a mystery, truth be told... Btw he also like memes. Old and New.

Kagamine Renta and Rinda, Age 2

The literal babies of the Vocafamilies, these two will get cheek pinches whenever they’re around adults. But don’t do it too much, they dislike it and chances are they’ll pinch you back in revenge. That being said, they’re very shy around strangers. They’ll hide behind Renji’s, Len’s or Rin’s legs if they’re approached by strangers. Due to their shyness, they got a nickname which is “Timid Twins”. Though it appears they’re more brave when they’re together than when they’re apart. They dislike being separated for a long period of time and would cry and search for the others if not reunited.

Vocafamilies - Gakupo Family

((No, you’re not reading it wrong, in Vocafamilies, “Gakupo” is his surname, while his first name is...))

Gakupo Sai, Age 43

Brave, Strong, Wise and Strong sense of justice, Sai fits the description of a modern warrior. Skillful in a wide variety of weapons, with Katana as his weapon of choice. Not only is he proficient in swordmanship, he’s also a capable swordsmith. Matter of fact, he made his and his children their own Katanas. His Katana, the “Miburi II” was made after the first one was broken. He is also strong and capable enough to make and wield a large katana called the Nodachi, which he named “Dai Miburi”. Don’t underestimate this man due to his age, he is capable to hold his own in a fight. His twin children, Shisui and Uzumi, have tried to defeat him in a 2vs1 swordfight since the first time they wield a (then wooden) katana, and to this day, he still remain undefeated.

Megurine Ruka, Age 40

Calm, Collected, Compassionate, Understanding, and somewhat Blunt both in words and sight, Ruka is the calm needed in a ragtag bunch of... not misfits of the Vocafamilies. Due to having a British mother, she speaks in British English in occasion when English is the language used, which can be somewhat confusing for the others who usually speak in American English or Japanese English. She doesn’t partake in many of her husband and children’s bout of swordfights, she usually sitting on the corridor, watching the fight, tea in hand. It may seem so, but she’s actually analyzing her children’s fighting style and movement, which later she will inform Gakupo so that he can use the information to improve their children’s skills.

Gakupo Shisui, Age 14

The male twin of the Gakupo Twins. Cool-Headed, Careful with his words, and always calculating his actions and words, Shisui is the supportive big brother figure of the Vocakids. He wield a Katana which he named, “Murasaki Suishō”. Whenever he fight with one, he often remain on the defensive stance, only attacking when the moment present itself. He may seem cold and calculating, but give some time to know him, and you’ll find out he’s one of the warmest boy around.

Gakupo Uzumi, Age 14

The female twin of the Gakupo Twins. Hot-Headed, Blunt with her words, and often act on impulse, Uzumi is the energetic with a hit of temper on the side second big sister figure, after Yukiko of the Vocakids. She wield a Katana which she named, “Akai Hayate”. Whenever she fights with one, she often on the attacking stance, preferring to make her own opening with many attacks launched at her adversary. Despite her rather... aggressive personality, She’s actually fond of anything “Cute”, and honest and unafraid of showing her fondness to the world.

Vocafamilies - Hiyama Family

Hiyama Kiyoteru, Age 42

Level-Headed, smart, mature, and patient, Kiyoteru is basically the go-to person/father/uncle whenever the Vocafamilies require help with something, asking for advice, or homework. Has a PhD in mathematics and bachelor’s degree in psychology. At school, he’s both the school teacher and school psychologist. Despite his commendable education backgrounds, he remains an elementary teacher, because he thinks that it is where his expertise is needed most. He’s still a singer, and his songs are often targeted for children and students.

Sakine Meiko, Age 41

The De facto leader of the “Main 6″ of Vocafamilies but not her own family, Meiko is the mama bear of the Vocafamilies and she’s always looking out for the others. Skilled in many, master of none, she’s the go-to person when the other moms needed advice or in work, parenting, relationship, or domestic. She can be the strict aunt/mother/big sister when she need to, but she does it because she cares a LOT about the others. She’s still a singer and has a loyal audience from her first days of being a teen singer.

Hiyama Yukiko, Age 16

The de facto leader of the Vocakids, she’s the big sister of the group and always the responsible one. Often the one who keeps the younger kids from trouble or if they’re interfering with the parents’ work at the studio. She cares for the 7 younger Vocakids since... Well, basically their whole life. Despite being the responsible one, she can be... a wildcard when it comes to rules. She’ll abide, but if there’s a loophole to take advantage of, she’ll take it. She’s named after two important ladies of Kiyoteru’s, YUKI and MeiKO.
