#tbt 2012 at the #bruisecruise preparty in #miami ☀️This was right after I got priced out of williamsburg and greenpoint but before I got priced out of Bushwick and ridgewood. Happy anniversary dear #keytar ❇️ 14 years ago I made a joke about how funny it would be to trigger video clips on a keytar. Luckily I made that joke to @edwardmiltoncisneros who happened to have a spare one, and handed it to me an hour later. After a few google searches, I figured it out and a week later performed my first #videokeytar set with @victhrill at @lilahlola ‘s Lucky Cat on Grand St in #williamsburgbrooklyn Since then I’ve performed over 500 shows across the country/world and I hope to get back to it when the plague lifts. I’ll never forget 5/14/12, the day we flew out of miami after playing a cruise and our plane got hit by lightning. There was a loud crashing noise then the lights went out and the plane started rapidly descending. Luckily we made it out ok and were only a little late for our show in raleigh.
