I got a one shot request from a lovely mutual for late nineties Stone that I’m working on.

Loving his little hot young professor looks from this time period (1998-1999???). I noticed he hasn’t strayed too far from this look over the past 20-something years.

This is a very interesting time in Pearl Jam’s history. Last Kiss was really popular, and at the beginning of 1999, the guys were working on their sixth album in Seattle.

Also, musically, one hand, Nu-metal was taking over and on the other hand, there was the pop boy band craze going on. Definitely incorporated this weird time in music history into my writing.

He wasn't thrilled with that fly ball in the 5th. But I'm noticing, Spencer's batting stance is different from last year.

I remember at Yankee stadium late last year, they had that camera looking directly at the butts of the left-handed hitters (Spence & Varsh were both in the lineup - probably KK too, but I really only remember the first 2). I have no idea what the purpose of that camera shot was, but it was literally just a pointing at their butt when the batter was in the box. I assume someone likes butts. (relatable)

Anyway, he did a whole little hip shimmy/wiggle thing. Very memorable. 😉 Now just one shift of hips to turn his butt a little bit toward the pitcher. Less fun for us, sadly.

I AM DOING A HUNGER STRIKE FOR GAZA

It has been almost 200 days of genocide in Gaza, and during this time Palestinians have been in the worst stage of starvation and famine. Children have begun dying from starvation and malnutrition, and more and more photos of Palestinian children are coming out where the child is nothing more than skin and bones.

Personally, I know I take the food I eat for granted every single day. I am no more deserving of a meal than the children of Gaza, so for that reason me and a few of my friends will be doing a minimum of FIVE day hunger strike in solidarity with my brothers and sisters in Palestine.

We will be starting on 1 May, as to hunger strike safely there is preparation needed. I making this post now in case anyone wants to join me and will want to prepare. I am not doing a dry hunger strike, I will be having fluids and I also don’t believe I will be able to hunger strike safely for more than 15 days for health reasons.

If you want to participate, please do your research and do it safely. I am doing this for the Gazan children who don’t have a choice right now, and I know in my heart I owe it to them. There is so much we consider a basic right and take for granted that people in Gaza don’t have access to. This hunger strike is solely in solidarity/raise money for Anera, there is no specific end result.
