Chapter 1: The Grand Foyer
Summary: Jaina Proudmoore, Sylvanas Windrunner, and their companions prepare themselves to enter the eerie Waycrest Manor. Once inside, they quickly uncover who is responsible for the mysterious disappearances within the manor.
"The Lord Admiral doesn't need to worry. I wouldn't dare lay a hand on her pretty little head," Sylvanas retorted, sitting back in her chair. "Besides Vereesa, we all know you'll start crying as soon as you step into that big, scary manor."

Prologue
Summary: Following the signing of a peace treaty, the Alliance and the Horde finally find themselves in a state of stability. Jaina Proudmoore seeks Warchief Sylvanas Windrunner's aid in reclaiming the eerie, abandoned Waycrest Manor. Together, they mobilize a squad to venture into the haunted estate, only to find unexpected challenges and secrets hidden within its walls.
"Jaina requires assistance with the Waycrest Manor. The Alliance, as expected, is unwilling to lend aid, and she has turned to me as a final option. The little mage claims champions are going in and not coming out. You know how humans are. They tend to believe in ghosts. Childish things.”

Epilogue
Jaina jerked awake, her eyes adjusting to the darkness around her. Forehead damp with sweat and momentarily disoriented, she struggled to recall her surroundings. She lay in an unfamiliar bed adorned with silk linens that combated the persistent summer nighttime warmth. She blinked several times, gradually rousing herself from sleep. Jaina then felt chill hands and a deathly quiet nuzzle followed by kisses to her neck.  "I hadn't realized I dozed off. How long was I out for?" Jaina asked, shutting her eyes as tiredness lingered from the evening's earlier activities. "Maybe an hour? I was planning to let you sleep since you rarely allow yourself that luxury," Sylvanas remarked. "I do sleep, just not when I spend my nights with you.” "And whose fault would that be, Lord Admiral?"

Chapter 6: The Rupture
Based on the knowledge that Lucille had shared about a potential escape route from the cursed manor, Jaina guided them below the catacombs.  As soon as Sylvanas descended the decrepit staircase, the unmistakable scent of death permeated the air. No life could endure in this suffocating atmosphere of decay. Jaina noticed as she made a sour face. "Something's peculiar about the smell down here," Jaina remarked while guiding them down the staircase. Her staff emitted a gentle glow, illuminating their path. "The smell is that of death. Something powerful once lingered here," Sylvanas said.

Chapter 6: The Catacombs
The unmistakable scent of death permeated the catacombs. Like the cellar, a chilling sense of foreboding filled the air as water droplets trickled onto the stone floor. Tree roots snaked their way into crevices of the walls, entwining themselves around any available surface.  As the group descended, an unsettling silence surrounded them, broken only by occasional flutters of bat wings. The long-departed Waycrests lay in a quiet slumber around them, their remains gradually rotting into dust. Shrouded by darkness, only Jaina's palm illuminated the space. Ever vigilant, Sylvanas noticed Jaina’s magic gradually returning, the flame burning brighter than it had in the ballroom. However, it was difficult to fully gauge, given that Sylvanas now trailed behind the group with Vereesa.
