I just realize in this scene the male humming voice is not part of the bgm but it’s really Vash’s voice

As we than see child Vash humming Nai’s song in the memory world

We learn that it’s actually Vash’s fucking comfort song and Nai’s answering ‘hmm’ is so soft i’m floored.

Is this something that Nai already know so that’s why he keeps playing it everytime he remember Vash? Or is it like a sentiment that they shared together? The only things that stays the same for the two of them even to this day?

But then

in the closing we get a look of Erick-Vash keep trying to play the tune again and again as he seems to only remember fragments of it, while seemingly mourning on Nai’s death..

Vash + Nai (pairing with reader) muttering apologies into your hair.

I think a common way knives and Vash show love to their partners is something as simple as murmuring into your hair.

They love your hair, it’s warm and soft and cushions his head every time they hold you close. Like this.

Sometimes Vash especially will murmur apologies of being busy, of being burnt out and he’s not able to be there for you much because he’s just.. ugh. It’s then that you ‘wake up’ and berate him,”it’s not your fault,” you’ll reassure him, holding him closer if even possible and showing your gratitude that he’s here. That each day can be taken one at a time.

When Nai does this, he doesn’t verbally apologize much. If at all. Perhaps a very small. Very quiet.

“..my apologies.” Into your hair, arms encompassing you as he attempts to show his gratitude. Knives loves strongly in quiet glances, small droves of gifts and thoughtful gestures that if you looked? He’d put so much meticulous thought into. Or perhaps it’s something simple. Like a snack you like.

But when you do have physical touch, he’ll breathe you in. Savor it. He’s well aware of the fact he can’t be like this with you all the time. He’s glad he has someone who’s the same way. He wouldn’t settle for anything less- understanding is what builds this relationship and helps it remain stable. Something you both need.

funny idea but what if the plants were just dramatic like earth plants? like "no, nai. no, vash. she's not dead or dying. the ph of her lightbulb is just .001% off."

or an au where all of the plants are independant but unlike the males of their species (i.e the twins) they take way longer to get to that point. their forms are like the seedling/bud version of themselves and their "deaths" are yet again just them being dramatic because they're in the lightbulb. take one out and put her in the sun for a while and suddenly she's just as independant as vash and nai

College AU Vash headcanon’s

Vash Saverem <3

-he can swallow multiple pills at once. Wolfwood thinks it’s freaky (it’s the result of Vash having to have multiple medications due to his health conditions). He used to be super freaked out about it but went “fuck it we ball” and tried it. Nai was worried he’d choke.

-Vash hugs a pillow to sleep (soon to be you heheh)

-He has StarWars posters in his room

-he’s been saving up for a Lego Death Star but ends up blowing his savings on smth like donuts (AUDHD impulsiveness). Nai has been wanting to get it for him but doesn’t have the money and figures him learning more financial literacy doesn’t hurt. But he still doesn’t want Vash to go without :( (he loves his brother very much. They’re happy.)

-He has Nai shave his hair like once a month because it grows fast and too long for his liking, so Nai fixes up his undercut while Vash rants about something that’s caught his eye, like how his DND campaign with Wolfwood is going or how a professor has been. (Or.. you).

-He likes the feel of fingerless gloves and owns a few fun pairs. And he has kandi bracelets he likes to fidget with. He lowk wants to be scene but doesn’t really know where to start, so he just has a few small little things he adds onto outfits that give a scene vibe

-Whenever having neutrals, I believe Vash would flock to denim or khaki for a base, giving his clothes more life. The darker clothes he has are sweaters Nai thrifted for him that uphold well in winter. I do believe he’d flock towards a more “vintage” style and would like a 70’s vibe w/ cuffed jeans, but would like more contemporary things added in, like chunky sneakers. He likes a fun silhouette with baggy pants. Also he enjoys patterned button ups + colorful 90’s typa windbreakers and bomber jackets and loves thrifting them even tho Nai says he has plenty (it’s never enough)

-He loves taking craft paint and doing cool little doodles or patterns onto his clothes (when he has time of course) he got Nai into painting/bleaching clothes (since Nai is secretly goth)

-Vash likes movies like Back to the Future, something comforting and easy to watch.

-He loves fun patterned socks- whenever he goes to like a museum gift shop he gets cute socks. Like Coca Cola labeled socks or something with a fun pattern. Speaking of which, he sometimes mismatch’s socks and it drives Nai insane

-He likes street food a lot. Like corn dogs, pretzels; etc. I think he avidly enjoys going to food trucks and eating at a picnic table with friends.

-His vocal stims consist of quotes from StarWars and listening to documentaries on something like: “How 3D printers work”

-He likes video essays on random stuff on YouTube (look at last HC)

Trigun: Stampede Episode 12 Spoilers

some thoughts:

y'know how vash and his sisters know this song but knives doesn’t (as shown in vash's memory when nai asks him what's the song he's humming and vash replies "i dunno. it just comes to me sometimes")? doesn’t that make knives more human-like than his brother, which is ironic because of y'know... his whole 'i hate humans' thing lmao

so like the twins seem like they were meant to be a single plant (similar to how actual identical twins used to be a single egg) with vash being the input of the energy from the core (the gate thing, the closer connection to their sisters) and knives being the output (can actually do plant things: the knives, whatever other powers he had). also they each have one wing, or their moles are on opposite sides when regular plants have them covering both sides

and in ep 11 and 12 knives basically awakens the output feature in vash because i know it's nai causing this but he's only doing stuff to vash (and the core i guess). vash is the one doing whatever the hell this is to his sisters, albeit unwillingly/unconciously

but also "But, what's he doing? What's he trying to start?" bro i'm wondering that too 😭

i need more plant vash because i'm so confused on how exactly the plants work (and how the heck the humans can create interdimensional beings but can't keep their home planet alive or put a child lock on the room where the said interdimensional being kids' mutilated sister is floating in multiple containers)
