This week, we have our online progress reporting held via Zoom about the updates to our product. We presented the value proposition canvas and the business thesis template for our smoke filtering devices. We identified the gains, customer jobs, pains, gain creators, products and services, and pain relievers for our proposed product.
We've been working hard on a special device to make vehicles, like jeepneys, cleaner and better for everyone. We showed our plans to make it even better in a meeting online. We talked about how our device can help in many ways. First, it can reduce the bad stuff that comes out of vehicles, making the air cleaner for everyone to breathe. This is important because dirty air can make people sick, especially with breathing and heart problems.
Second, our device can help vehicle owners save money. It can lower the fuel they need and reduce repair costs over time. Plus, it can help them avoid fines for not following the rules about emissions. Our plan is to make a special filter that can be put on vehicles easily. This will make the air cleaner and keep people healthier while saving money for vehicle owners.

This week has been an eye-opening experience for me as I've realized the importance of reaching out to a wider range of people beyond our initial target group. By engaging with engineers, jeepney operators, and various other stakeholders, I've come to understand that there's a wealth of insights to be gained from diverse perspectives. It's clear to me now that to truly innovate and provide value, we must step out of our comfort zones and connect with a broader spectrum of individuals.
Working closely with my group members and our instructor, I've learned that focusing on a smaller group of customers is just the starting point. To make meaningful strides, we must extend our efforts to understand the needs and challenges of a wider audience. This week has provided us with the opportunity to refine our focus and prioritize areas that require deeper exploration.
Moving forward, our group is committed to delving deeper into understanding the consumer's perspective. We recognize that this is essential for ensuring that our solution aligns closely with their needs and preferences. Through continued collaboration and research, we aim to refine our understanding and develop a solution that truly resonates with our target audience. Overall, this week's activities have set the stage for a more informed and strategic approach to our project.

W4 - Value Proposition Canvas
In this week, we found out several things that our target customers wants and needs. They want a fast, efficient and easy access to the system that caters their nurse scheduling needs. They also wanted to have a hard-copy of the time-table of the schedule since they document it and it serves as their attendance in their work. They expressed on how it could really change their work if they don't have to do their scheduling manually anymore since it saves them so much trouble and time.

Week 8 - Lesson Learned Presentation (Midterm)
In the past eight weeks, I gained valuable insights that provided me with an essential understanding of the startup process.

Week 1: Each of us completed a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator personality test, and I discovered that I was a Commander (ENTJ). An ENJT is a person who possesses the Extraverted, Intuitive, Thinking, and Judging personality qualities. These personality types are visionary and have a strong sense of direction, allowing them to motivate and inspire others to work toward a common objective.
Week 2: This week, our team Gamechangers was formed with the goal of making a significant impact on the world by cracking the system and changing the game. It acts as a reminder for us to continue striving for our objectives and developing creative solutions with the potential to alter the market. A compelling and memorable team name can encourage and inspire us to go beyond our comfort zones and strive for excellence in our job.
Week 3: Identifying the Value Proposition Canvas showed me that it is an important tool for technopreneurs to employ in the product development process because it can assist them in creating a more compelling and successful value proposition that connects with their target consumers. This experience has taught me the significance of gathering client input and performing market research to verify concepts and obtain insights that may drive innovation.
Week 4: Effective communication and storytelling are two essential skills necessary for success in both the personal and professional worlds. Technopreneurs who wish to flourish in the cutthroat world of entrepreneurship need to have strong communication and narrative abilities. Technopreneurs may improve their connections, motivate people, and raise their chances of success by improving these talents. This week, we had the opportunity to learn more about the various issues and difficulties we can encounter as commuters without revealing any potential solutions.
Week 5: The preparation of interviews and hypothesis testing are two crucial tools for technopreneurs. Technopreneurs may reduce risk, verify assumptions, and improve the chance of producing a successful product or service by combining interview planning with hypothesis testing. Technopreneurs may increase their chances of accomplishing their company objectives and having a positive influence on their sector by approaching product creation in a methodical and data-driven manner.
Week 6: In this week, validation is a key phase in technopreneurship since it allows ideas and solutions to be validated and determined if they match consumer demands and market demand. Technopreneurs may identify possible impediments, clarify their value proposition, and make educated product development decisions by confirming assumptions early in the product development process. This can help them reduce risk, prevent costly mistakes, and boost their prospects of market success.
Week 7: This lecture taught me that technopreneurship is more than just technical skills; it also necessitates a thorough understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles. UI/UX design is an important consideration for technopreneurs who want to create products that are both functional and appealing to users. By investing in good UI/UX design, technopreneurs can increase their chances of creating successful products that are well-received in the marketplace.
In conclusion, I learned a lot about the startup process, beginning with a personality test and building a team with a catchy name. I also gained knowledge about the Value Proposition Canvas, effective storytelling and communication, interview planning, and hypothesis testing. It emphasized the need of validation in technopreneurship as well as the relevance of understanding user interface/user experience (UI/UX) design concepts. Overall, these experiences gave me a better knowledge of the necessary tools and abilities for success as a technopreneur.

Penilaian diagnosis dapat membantu mengenali miskonsepsi pada siswa yang mungkin menghambat pemahamannya dalam mempelajari sebuah konsep. Selain itu, asesmen diagnosis bisa juga untuk mengidentifikasi kesenjangan antara harapan yang akan dicapai siswa dengan tahapan kemampuan yang mereka miliki saat pembelajaran. Data yang diperoleh dari penilaian ini dapat menjadi panduan bagi guru dalam menemukan strategi pengajaran yang efektif serta membantu siswa menemukan cara belajar yang efektif unruk meningkatkan pemahaman mereka.
Contoh penerapan asesmen diagnostik untuk mengenali miskonsepsi dalam mata pelajaran PKWU; materi pada Value Proposition Design dan Business Model
Menggunakan kuis singkat di awal pembelajaran; Guru mengajak siswa berandai-andai untuk membuat produk tertentu disertai alasan yang jelas mengapa mereka membuat produk atau layanan tersebut. Idealnya siswa menentukan sebuah produk atau layanan berdasarkan kebutuhan pelanggan, bukan keinginan penjual. Apabila terdapat miskonsepsi diawal pembelajaran, guru bisa meluruskan kesalahpahaman tersebut sebelum mereka selesai mengerjakan proyek perencanaan produknya.
Menganalisis pola jawaban keliru saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung; Guru memberikan tugas kepada siswa untuk membuat perencanaan produk/layanan menggunakan Value Proposition Canvas. Dalam proses pembelajaran, guru melihat sekilas hasil pengerjaan serta diskusi siswa, misalnya prototipe aplikasi pengelolaan waktu untuk pelajar. Guru menemukan bahwa sebagian besar siswa lebih fokus pada fitur teknis aplikasi seperti alarm pengingat atau fungsi kalender, tetapi kurang pembertimbangkan nilai yang sebenarnya yang dapat ditawarkan kepada pengguna. Menghilangkan kesenjangan antara harapan dan kenyataan dalam pembelajaran; Siswa diminta untuk merencanakan model bisnis untuk produk atau layanan yang mereka kembangkan, misalnya, "startup konsultasi digital untuk usaha kecil". Setelah siswa menyelesaikan Business Model Canvas mereka, guru melakukan asesmen apakah BMC yang dipikirkan siswa sesuai dengan keidealan pada penggunaan BMC. This week, our team tackled Milestone 2 for our Fish Box project, focusing on crucial elements such as competition analysis, the lean canvas model, plans for our minimum viable product (MVP), and strategies for MVP validation.
One major insight was the importance of thoroughly understanding the competitive landscape and clearly differentiating our value proposition. With numerous portable cooler options available, it’s essential to emphasize how our solar-powered, thermoelectric design uniquely addresses the specific needs of fishermen and fish vendors.
Creating our lean canvas was an enlightening process that helped us condense the core aspects of our business model onto a single page. This exercise required us to refine our customer segments, value propositions, channels, and revenue streams, highlighting the need for clarity and focus as we move forward.
Defining the MVP was both challenging and revealing.
