Take your kids to work day where precious little baby girl Solana (we're still polishing working on Solana and I couldn't decide whether she's younger sister or older sister — I feel like she's younger but also feel like she's older depending on the mood swings).

Garrus verbally and literally pointing out someone's form isn't proper because Dad taught him the proper way and Castis is just 'well, you heard my boy' — ah, yes, more delulu coming your way ♥

Solana is not at all happy to be there but she's the behaved one so she gets to be in daddy's holster.

Garrus eating off dad's spicier plate because it's 'dad's spicier plate' and he wasn't going to back down to dad saying, "You're too young for this, Garrus. This is too spicy for y—."

Look at the sheer determination to appease his father and his pride as a Vakarian. NOMNOMNOM LITTLE ANGEL ♥

Dad making copies of work related files in his omni-tool because Solana decided to play with it and did cute little doodles and blamed it on Garrus.

Garrus gets a time out and doesn't know why. Dad won't tell him.

Tea and Sympathy - Robert Joseph MacCready/Female Sole Survivor (Molly Gould)

The longfic that started a bit of an obsession and one where I wanted to tell my older and unprepared OCs story about loss and healing and finding love in an unexpected place. I love the contrast between the two - one so open and trusting and the other closed and untrusting and how they grew to complement each other. A relationship that grows out of mutual lust then friendship and love.

The Road not Taken - Robert Joseph MacCready/Female Sole Survivor (Molly Gould)

I wanted a continuation of their story until after the fall of the Institute and also for MacCready to reunite with Duncan - absolutely canon divergent as the first fic but with a depth I hope to examine their rich inner lives as well as their relationship and how it fits in within the bigger picture of the Wasteland. It’s about 3 chapters away from finishing - but also I plan a small vignette set in the future to round the May to September series off.

Dragon Age Inquisition

Dead of the Night - Raleigh Samson/Female Lavellan Inquisitor

Oh man this started off as kink meme fill that sort of got away from me and I became a little bit obsessed with this guy (and found some new friends) that I went on to write a prequel and a number of stand alone fics. I was more enamoured with Samson as a character rather than the ship per sae and most of the follow up fics with him are not shipping fics. But damn if I can find the sad in the story its like a hungry dog with a bone.

Mass Effect

Clueless - Garrus Vakarian, Thane Krios, Aeryn Shepard (not a shipping fic)

Honestly if you ever read one of my ME fics, this is the one you should read it’s short, I’ve been told its clever and funny and really was something I wrote towards the end of my time in the ME fandom - and the one I’m most proud. It’s humour and fun and I had such a ball writing it.

The Selfish Gene - Miranda Lawson, Aeryn Shepard (not a shipping fic)

This is very personal fic and I wrote this at a very awful time in my life when I was dealing with a medical crisis as well as adjusting to life with the knowledge I had a life long neurological disease, and Mass Effect and the friendships I made through fandom were really important to me. Many things have changed since I wrote this fic, for the better, and I still look back and thank the heavens for the little things that kept me sane at that time.

A bit late, but I couldn't resist not having one done for Husband #3, Castis Vakarian from Mass Effect.

As you know, the lack of Castis Vakarian out there is depressing me. Yes, depressing me. I did my part in contributing to the Plo Koon tag, now for my very rare gem of a Turian Husband.

He turned out so damn fine ;//////////; and this is from the same artist who, by the way, has not done an in-depth study of Turians yet. I literally just threw some photos in today and he had this done and I'm just so in love, you know?

This is heavily inspired by @yuku78's take on thicc boi Garrus and I couldn't resist adding some tatts to my fine boi ;////////////;

But he looks so damn young here and idk, maybe we'll do more study to give him that seasoned, daddy vibe.

Here we have:

Little Garrus stuffing dad's drawers with his blankie because someone has been bring home work a little too much. Needless to say, Castis feels equally touched as he is troubled because Garrus has thrown his stuff away to make room for his blankie.

Itty, bitty Garr-bear sharing his desserts for dad but ends up taking a huge bite and is now in the dilemma of whether dad would notice or he'd have to take one for the team and eat all of it.

Hydration is very important. Specially if you're a very young Turian caught in the adventure of making sure dad's OK. The drink was supposed to be Castis'.

And so was the sandwich — or what's left of it. Castis is not a fan of saliva-soggy bread. [ I wasn't sure if there's an equivalent of sandwich for Turians.]

Dad's way of saying he's both proud and love the itty, bitty monster baby.

I'm having dad withdrawal. This may be a little too wholesome for Castis, but I'm pretty sure he did his best. With how Garrus turned out. I know most of his personality is more from mom as per the comics, but I'm also sure that he's got a lot of Castis in him too.

Anyway, have some fatherly sweetness from husband #3, Castis Vakarian.

Another Castis Vakarian study as the small number of art made for him is appalling considering we like daddies in this binch. The 'Well, shit. I guess I'm really retired now" dad coping by actually allowing himself to get shit-faced in his own home because there is no chance in absolute hell that he's going to make a fool of himself in public. And because I have no self-control, that squiggly, curly-haired bubble person is my OC who I have written in wips as his assistant during his last years before retirement and ya boy shootin' his shot because you know, shipping blorbos with our oc is therapy.

Dad takes to online dating — only because he's a little bit drunk and will definitely deny this the morning after.

Barbeque dad and his special barbeque sauce giving you the "what do you mean you already ate?" — look of disapproval + three seconds before you take that back and sit tf down and eat.

So as you know, I have been in this continuous descent of Castis Vakarian thirsting and I just remembered a really fond memory of my grandfather and I when I would be a spoiled little shit. I mean I wasn't really a spoiled child, but I was spoiled by my grandfather a lot.

So after being reprimanded, my stupid little heart would take it soooo personally and won't talk to my granddad until I just fall asleep from crying. Hours later, I'll awake up asleep on his chest.

So.

Have a post-argument sleepy times with daddy Castis and this cute little chub, Garrus. I wanna say Mrs. Vakarian lovingly placed the itty, bitty, baby on sleepy grumpy dad ♥.

Castis Vakarian, A Turian Study Part 2

-> Part 1

I'm really loving study sheet #2, but I can't really picture him looking silly like the two ones on the right, but the other three is giving me that stoic, strict, collected vibe of sorts. I'm also seeing a little closeness to him being a might fine, seasoned gentleman.

But clearly as you can see, the thirst remains unquenchable. But since this is a study, we keeping the NSFW in my secret folders.

I'd like to think that Castis still keeps up being in shape. You can't just take that a way from a man in uniform, imho. I don't see him as someone who'd let himself go so easy — not that there's nothing wrong with it.

I like how this turned out, but we're gonna work on his face in that angle a little more.
