Today Blue Sheep turns 24. It's funny, a few years ago I couldn't imagine even wanting to drive a car, let alone enjoying it. Now, this lovely old Saab means so much to me, and I couldn't imagine going without. Driving with the top down on these warm summer days brings me so much joy. And being able to improve and repair her with my own hands gives a sort of intimate satisfaction. Over 1,5 years and almost 25,000 kms together now. I hope for many more.

people often assume when we all go out together that I'm my half brothers mom (I'm 20 years older than him) & that his parents are his grandparents & it's so funny bc I know it bothers them. old ass idiots

#my dad was 49 & his wife was 45 when they had him #the story behind his birth is actually extremely fucked up like everything else about their relationship #so my dad left her like a million times to try to go back to my mom (who kept telling him no unless he sorted out his issues) then he #would always run right back to her & she always took him back. anyways i guess he said smth along the lines of #''my wife (he was still married to my mom) will always be the love of my life bc shes the mother of my kids'' #and...she went off bc & on fertility treatments without telling him. then shes pregnant & he is still saying he wants to come back to us #so she said he will never see their kid & her son from a previous marraige THREATENED MY DAD AT GUNPOINT #and said if you ever leave my mom again ill fucking kill yoi #so then the divorce was finalized & they got married & my half brother was born. rest is history #for the record i dont feel sorry for my dad at all it was his fault too. the fucking hypocrite was having sex before marriage #and he knew she was nuts & far too attached to her #what a fucking idiot. all he had to do was get on meds & in therapy & admit he was wrong & he could have stayed with us #but he needed constant validation & to be in charge of everything & thats what his new wife gives him. she converted to his cult & now they #raise my brother in it. and she just does whatever my dad wants & lets him treat her like shit. i would actually feel sorry for her if sh #if she werent such a fucking awful person. and she tries to be all nicey nice w/us despite being a literal homewrecker. #and doing things like telling my dad he cant spend more than 50 dollars per year on each of us #while having him buy her a third car & a 1500 dollar fur coat. lol #theyre so much better off financially than us that its unreal. my mom doesnt get a penny despite how much we are struggling #but if i want a relationship with my half brother i just have to pretend none of this is weird or wrong. #anyways i just hope he never finds out the circumstances of his birth bc god can you fucking imagine

welp my mom and I went to clear out the shed in the back yard and found out that my sister's boyfriend has been using it to store stolen lawnmowers. there were four

#idk why my mom keeps letting him over after he's stolen from us repeatedly and ruined our bathroom #he tried to steal my ex's catalytic converter and busted his window #stole over $200 from my brother #takes my mom's weed and cigarettes and she's aware of it #stole wax from me twice #put his two dogs in my car overnight without telling me #used to repeatedly put his dogs in our backyard without telling us knowing that they hop the fence every time #& we had to find out from our neighbors telling us bc it happened so often they knew the situation #asked me to help him sell drugs behind my sister's back #asked me if I wanted to sell MY pills #lied to my mom about where he was going when he borrowed her car #smashed our table in our front yard after we called him out for going to a meth dealer's house w her car instead of to a job he didn't have #my mom swept up the glass and left it on his dealer's driveway (knew where she lived bc she's her deceased friend's daughter) #.bdo

#lucid dreaming is the most epic and teriffying thing sometimes #I've been building it up over the years and i feel like im getting to that point where when i feel that space between sleep and alertness #i can push myself into whatever is happening and mostly be in control #for me it literally feels like im walking through a heavy veil #like that tingling static you feel when your foot falls asleep #its like you're detaching from your body and going somewhere else #i can't pick how my dream turns out i kind of just walk through and deal with whatever I'm dealing with #earlier while napping i did it and i was like in my 50s or so checked my mirror and saw my wrinkles then i went out to my car #lived somewhere else entirely and i get in the car and im going down the highway and I'm in the left lane going the speed limit and this #older guy with curlyish white hair and a peppered beard black sunglasses and a white dress shirt is driving a convertible #and he looks over at me and gets pissed that im “trying to pass him” and proceeds to try and run me off the road #my car starts to begin to flip i can feel this whoosh of air in my face and hair and right before i start tumbling i shoot up from bed #like ive had an exorcism and my hearts going like 90 bpm #it felt so real like you couldn't distinguish if it was a dream even if you tried hard enough #touch taste sight smell its all there #i stg for me lucid dreaming feels like im highjacking the bodies of alternative mes in the universe and using them as temp avatars #to experience some weird shit #lmao 😂 #I don't have apnea or anything else like that so not worried there #but shit man #these have been getting pretty intense over the last few months as ive gotten better at it #ted talk info dump #no magenta here #i feel like i need a safe word for these types of posts #magenta has already taken the mantle of complaining/venting

not me thinking about trying to shell out to convert my fiat to a Plug in hybrid? hmmmmm

#toy txt post #ive just started VERY GENTLY looking into this actually bc i uh. have acquired a second car. my grandpa's old car. #it is a tiny fuckin go cart geo from 1992 stick shift and im gonna try to learn stick shift on it but anyway i was like hmm perhaps....i #could learn on that car? what if i did a project? what if i ripped out that tiny little engine and made it into a hybrid or electric? #i found one little DIY blog of someone who converted a very similar car to electric and then back into a hybrid to increase range #so its maybe doable? altho that one was from like 2012 and the hybrid conversion involved?? a propane tank in the trunk? #which. feels not ideal. idk. but then also i found one that looks way more current and legit? they seem to focus on like. fleets of #commercial cars BUT they have a section for consumer cars? it seems to be some kind of kit that they ship out to a qualified mechanic. #which honestly if i can afford it i think i would prefer that bc idk shit about cars and im sure dad could try to teach me but hybrid might #be outside his wheelhouse...hes worried about the weight itll add but like idk? there already are electric fiats same age as mine so #clearly they figured it out for that and that was w the older tech from the 2010s? #but i have no idea what the price is for a professional conversion bc it requires getting an actual Quote from them #and i am not ready for that step yet!!!!! but like. god. next new car i buy i want to be a plug in hybrid i think #that seems like it would be a better choice for how i use a car than a fully ev unless i shell out for one of the real expensive bitches #full of soooo many ''luxury'' features that i will hate so much not to mention how many now standard modern features i despise...ugh #there was one i liked....toyota yaris plug in hybrid....it is....only available in europe and the uk :))) so id have to figure out #purchasing and importing a foreign car without even a test drive unless i want to get on an airplane (aka flying covid tube) and do that #and like i wouldnt mind visiting europe sometime and seeing all my internet friends over there but like i dont want to have to go over for #like. a car. u kno? plus every car that is not My Fiat is bad and wrong and makes me angry and stressed to drive so honestly #idk might as well accept my commitment to it as a future moneypit and make it more eco friendly and save on gas #tho im sure if im charging it at the house ill have to negotiate paying at least part of the electric bill or smth...id love to get some #kind of portable solar charger on it too so im not necessarily just relying on the fossil fuel electricity at my house either? idk. but #that seems hard to find at best and idk like id want to use it while my car is parked jn the parking lot but i suppose there'd be an #increased risk of it getting stolen depending on where i am? idk #part of me is like i should try to professionally convert my fiat to hybrid and then maybe do the geo just ev since im not gonna be takin #that thing long distances anyway? but idk. theres also that little nagging fear about like the fire risk cos i always hear about teslas #with the scary fire shit from that new battery tech and other evs are using that too now to get comparable ranges so like?? are they less #safe? should i be concerned about putting smth like that on an already less safe car from the 90s? or should i just be like well fuck it #this shit is a deathtrap anyway? and then have intrusive thoughts about car fires the entire time im trying to focus on learning stick? #also stick shift fucking stressful. why does it go backwards so fucking fast? what gives?

It’s been a fucking day bro

#I got like three hours of sleep waiting up for my sister to get home cause her and her girlfriend came in from out of town #I showed up two hours late to my cousins sons bday #came home then left to get sonic drinks and forgot to pick up my sisters order from target and almost got in a car accident in front of my #house but by avoiding the car accident I hit the curb too hard basically popped my tire and maybe bent the rim #this isn’t even my car it’s my dad‘s car because my car still in the shop from when the catalytic converter was stolen #using my brother’s truck that he left at my house so I could use it in case my dad needed his car #go to my brothers to pick up the air tank which the compressor on the air tank is broken #so he spent 30 minutes in his garage looking for portable compressor that plugs into the car #i’ll bring it to the house and the air is leaving the tire faster than the compressor could fill it up #ask my brother if I can use his wife’s car and she says yes so I take the truck back to his house #I think of the wife’s car I realize I don’t have my money on me and I can’t buy food from my dad before I leave to my grandma’s #basically I’m complaining about one thing that’s entirely affected the last four hours of my life sorry #personal
