Today is Underhoff's one year old.

It was on this day, exactly a year ago, that I posted this comic, which laid the foundation for this AU. To be honest, I'm very happy. After all, no matter what, this year is over, and it will only get easier. (At least I hope so. o(*￣▽￣*)ブ ) Well, in honor of such an event, I think that I can tell a couple of facts about the creation and life of Alternative Universe.

1) 06/04/2021 - a comic was posted on acomics.ru . So, yes, it's the official birthday UH. (Not 04/02/2022. This is just when I create Tumblr acc. (0-0 ) )

2) Previously, the AU was called UnderRuin. But later I discovered an AU with the same name, and in order to avoid conflicts, the name was changed. (The author of UnderRuin: @dandy-doodles​ )

3) Initially, Mike, the child on the cover of the comic, was supposed to have a white soul, which was supposed to be the soul of Hope. But I thought it was too cliched. Therefore, I chose a different color. The choice fell on turquoise, as it was between Blue (Patience) and Green (Kindness).

4) Mike was supposed to be an albino. But later his appearance was changed, and in the end only white hair remained from the old style.

5) Frisk and Chara at the beginning was the female. But I returned to the canon, and made them sexless. (So, do not be surprised if you notice that each person will call them in their own way.)

6) Fact about Chara: Chara prefers to be called in the feminine gender, due to the fact that they were raised like a girl. Therefore, sometimes you can see that they, very rarely, but speak of themselves in the feminine gender.

7) Toriel is a character who has gone through a huge change in appearance, due to frequent changes in art style.

8) 02/04/2022 - a patreon was created, which still works to this day.

9) 03/22/2022 - the beginning of the global remake of the comic.

10) The birthday of the characters is calculated in this way. The date is the number of letters in their names. Month - what kind of person they are in a row, or what kind of monster they are in a row. For example: Mike's birthday is 09/04. 4 - the number of letters, 9 - people in a row. (But that doesn't work for everyone.)

UnderRuin, a Dreamtale AU in which, Nightmare actually speaks up about his bullying. An au in which Dream and Nightmare try to escape the tree and its long spread roots tying their destiny right to it. Tying their destiny to disaster and pain.

The brothers decided to run away in the dead of night to escape the village and everything around it, even the tree, though, thinking they could potentially grow a new one in the wild woods nearby, in which they were hiding, they took as many apples as their arms could hold, only 10, five negative, five positive. Weeks and weeks passed of the brothers hiding as the villagers practically tore down the forest looking for them, and the brothers were low, if not out, of food. Taking a grave risk, the brothers ate the apples together, causing their half 'corrupted' forms now. Negativity spills from Nightmare like a disease, yet it is the glue that held him together. Positivity also spilt from Dream, burning hot energy pooling in certain areas to leave odd burns. Both had their respective energy rip out from their backs in a grotesque and painful show. Dream with one wing, Nightmare with one tentacle. The hurt and starving children have been lost in the woods ever since, unaware of how many days had passed. Unaware of how many years had passed.

Dreamtale does not belong to me in the slightest, this is only a new take on its story and a new outcome to be observed.
