the two i got rn are:

Ultraman Zet, a being of light that was altered by the Zettonians and thus follows the Defence Force of their world around. Unbeknown to Kin, Zet’s host, they’ve been programmed to go berserk should they learn the true identity of the primary Ultra host on Earth. In the meanwhile, they defend Earth.

I designed Zet to be a secondary Ultra to someone else, but I’ve never actually found a primary Ultra for them to tail around after.

Ultraman Shine, a being of light that came to Earth to defend against Alien Ramos. Originally designated as a healer due to their overflowing light, Shine cannot stand down when they see the terror of Ramos, and decides to stay and fight. Their host, an ex-serviceman, has joined the Science and Organised Light Attack Rescuers (SOLAR) in order to protect the Earth from the threats drawn by Ramos. 

Oh yeah. Also, every single other member of SOLAR is an alien that’s convinced that they’ve secretly infiltrated the humans.

Araki Shigeru, the actor for Kamen Rider Stronger, has passed away since 2012.

I watched Kamen Rider Stronger when I was a child. But was too young to pay attention to it, but I do remember seeing a clip of an episode of Stronger back then.

My first Riders were V3, Black RX, ZO (Zet-Oh), and J. I'm glad that I saw Black RX, because the original 10 Kamen Riders appeared to help him in the final episodes. It planted the seeds for me enjoying Showa Era tokusatsu, alongside all the Ultraman and Super Sentai shows.

I love how they user did the video, recreating actions done in the original show. Yes, Jo Shigeru, aka Stronger, is THAT hammy. Whistling to announce his presence to the bad guys.

"The Heavens called! The Earth called! The People called! They all called for me to defeat evil forces! I am the warrior of Justice!"

Upon Kin’s brainwashing becoming active, Zet’s body changes itself to become Dark Zet. This form has far less graceful movements, and instead of the typical ultra-grunts has a constant beeping noise.

Their red colouration becomes a deeper shade of red, but their silver does not change. The silver armour on them becomes darkened, and the central crystal that bisects their face becomes black.

Dark Zet does not change forms like Zet, as its power has been greatly amplified under the Zettonians. The Bounding Ray has been additionally replaced with the Red Blader, where Zet charges for several seconds before unleashing a vertical slice of energy from their face crystal.

Zet’s body originally was a traditional red-striped Ultra body, with a Tiga-like face sporting an embedded crystal. Their captivity under the Zettonians brought several changes however.

Zet’s body colouration has migrated to their central body mostly, with colour only otherwise adorning the tops of their arms, the backs of their legs, and their hands and feet. 

Armour now covers their shoulders and extends onto their chest a short way. It is smooth and undecorated, resembling insect plating more than an Ultra Warrior’s decoration.

The crystal in their head has expanded greatly, now running almost the entire length of their face. Zet seems to not have noticed the crystal, and actively avoids mirrors.

Zet has two alternate forms to begin with:

Million Degrees Zet, a fire-themed form where Zet’s eyes and other openings become an angry red. Million Degrees boasts explosive power and speed, but is rather fragile and easy to disrupt. To initiate this form Zet forms a fireball between their hands, then thrusts it into their colour timer. 

This risky maneuver “burns” through their colour timer, using it up faster than usual.

Glacier Zet, an ice-themed form where Zet's colouration becomes a pale blue and begins to steam lightly. Glacier is much slower than their base form, but has incredible raw strength. To initiate this form, Zet vents all the heat from their body in a massive blast of steam from under their armour. This steam additionally serves to mask the transformation.

Zet’s reactions are slow in this form, and since they cannot cancel this form quickly it can be a risk to use against an unknown foe.

Zet’s host is a nonbinary traveller named Kin who trails their world’s defence force to attempt to learn the identity of the current Ultra Guardian of Earth. 

However, unbeknownst to Kin, they have undergone Zettonian brainwashing that would cause them to enter a trance and attempt to destroy the Ultra host should they learn their identity. In the meantime, Kin assists in defeating any threats that threaten the Earth.

It’s unclear if Kin defeats these threats from their own will, or whether the Zettonians desire the invasion of an intact world.

My ultrasona is Ultraman Zet, a Giant of Light with slightly suspect motives and perhaps a touch of brainwashing going on. 

Their standard finisher is the Bounding Ray, a move that leaves them vulnerable to physical attacks while it charges. However, it charges faster if Zet is hit with energy-based attacks during this process. 

While charging, Zet puts their hands in an X shape in front of them, then thrusts them both forwards and firing the Ray from a line between their hands upon reaching full charge.
