ULTIMATE DIRECTION!

ULTIMATE DIRECTION! Ultimate Direction sent me both a water belt the access 20 and a handheld the fast pass 20. I have some things I liked about them and some suggestions. First of all, a huge thank you to Ultimate Direction for sending these to try out and review but belts and handhelds, I never had too much of an interest for. I am really interested in hydration vests and packs but I did enjoy trying these out and had spent pros and would like to give some positive feedback. Everyone is different and hydration handhelds and belts might work for you. So let me start with the handheld Fast Draw. First of all, I loved the style of it. It looks really awesome and has different color options and reflectors on all which is always a great thing to have. I really loved the size of the pocket. It was perfect for smart phones and multiple fuel packets and not all handhelds can hold a smart phone. Another thing I really liked was the cap. It has a rubber mouth piece that pops up and you have to suck the water out so the water does not splash out because of the design. I Love that, as some handhelds, it's a push and pull cap meaning more work and possible loss of water inside. The material is breathable and moisture wicking which should always be included and I think that's a nice plus. The strap was adjustable and comfortable except this is where it did not really work for me. I would like to encourage UD Hydration to improve the way the strap adjusts. For me, due to the weight of the water it did not stay on tight enough which meant I'd either have to hold it with little support from the strap or what I tried was to tie it and ended up being way too tight. My suggestion to UD Hydration is to put in a thumb hole and button which means no dropping. I saw that on someone else’s and I would like to positively encourage UD Hydration to do. Now moving on to the belt which also looked awesome and also has multiple colors available and with the reflectors. The belt was also made out moisture wicking material and lightweight. There is a good size pocket for smartphones and nutrition which is great. The belt was adjustable with snap clip and has an elastic strap for extra handling and that's great. The bottle also has the rubber no splash top which I Love and not all other hydration systems have. The bottle was held in a curved cage so you can just pull the bottle out real easily. Now one is sure with it having an open easy access top like that it could fall out but I'm not sure of the likely hood of that. I just know that is a possibility. Otherwise, as far as hydration belts go, I think this is pretty ultimate (pun intended) although I don't really like belts while I'm running or hand helps and like hydration packs and vests like I said. Face the facts The access 20 • Semi-flexible angled cage with flared top for easy bottle access • TPU backed bottle sleeve for friction fit • Smartphone compatible pocket conveniently holds food and valuables • Lightweight, streamlined design The fast pass 20 •Medium volume pocket fits most smart phones • Cool Wick Air Mesh strap is soft to the touch, breathable and wicks moisture • Soft and thin chafe-free edge binding • Key fob and interior security divider Adjustable hand tension strap The rating game The fast pass 20 Comfort 4/5 beers the adjustable strap just didn't do it for me but other than that very comfy and breathable Design 5/5 beers it's a good handheld design if you like handhelds Style 5/5 beers Love the style it looks really cool and has reflectors which makes it more awesome The add up 15/15 beers works great looks great feels great except the adjustable strap I had trouble with but like I said I don't really like handhelds but if you do I definetly recommend the fast pass 20. The access 20 Comfort 5/5 beers no complaints I Love how you can roll up any extra strap. Design 5/5 beers probably the most easy access hydration belts there are. Style 5/5 beers Love the look definetly both the the access 20 and the fast pass 20 look the best as far as hydration goes and they both have reflectors The add up 15/15 perfect score even though I don't like water belts but if you do I highly recommend the access 20.
