Family: His parents Chesster and Tettra both work in-tandem researching and developing serums/potions/tonics. His mother is from a lineage of larger-than-average-Asura stemming from their ancestors modifying their own DNA to get an advantage over their peers by intimidating them or beating them into submission. Over the years the lineage has developed less aggressive mindsets towards their size, though many of them hold great pride in their stature. His father is an average Asura. Barnaby has twin sisters, Toola and Roola, they are very protective of their older brother. His uncle Vesster frequently visits, helps out, and stays over at his parents’ lab, he’s very friendly and looked after Barnaby and his sisters when they were little.

📚 Backstory 📚

Childhood: Barnaby was around 3-5 years old when his twin sisters, Toola and Roola, were born. There were some complications at birth, and the twins had some health issues. There were portions of their legs with dead nerves, and their immune systems were weak. Their parents immediately began researching and experimenting to create a serum that could heal them. In the meantime, Barnaby always took care of his sisters, he would carry them places, let them piggy back or sit on his shoulders, and he’d do anything for them. After a few years of collaborating with peers and eliminating all possible faults from the serum, they tested it on Toola and Roola’s cells with no apparent repercussions. With the tests’ success they injected Toola and Roola with the serum, and it was a success. Their dead cells were reanimated and their immune systems recovered. Now able to run around they frequently wrestled and played with Barnaby—who still made great efforts to be gentle with them.

Adolescence: From childhood to adolescence Barnaby was frequently teased by peers for his size, for being “ugly,” and for being quiet, these things built insecurities in him, but the presence of his twin sisters gave him something to stand up for, and he successfully defended them from bullies many times. He had a series of bad relationship experiences throughout his mid-late adolescence which only made him more quiet and insecure. But through reflection and experience he has slowly become wiser to relationships, even if he still struggles with a lot of the same things, being too quiet, being too easily flustered, having a hard time saying no to things even if he doesn’t want them.

Young Adulthood: Just as Barnaby approached young adulthood he fully realized his passion of protecting others, and began a habit of searching for people who need help. These habits eventually led him to wilderness areas he knew well, and discovered there were a great many people who often needed help in places like these. He decided to oversee any areas he could as often as possible for people who needed direction or protection, and would defend, guard, and guide them as needed. Since then he has always done this.

Adulthood: TBD

Present Day: Barnaby is dedicated to being an overseer in areas of dangerous wilderness, defending whoever needs protection. He sometimes will travel to places outside of Brisban Wildlands for a change of scenery and more opportunities to help and protect. He is still very close with his sisters and his parents, and will have days where he will hang out with them. He also has met and built a relationship with an Asura named Prinette, although it took a long time for Barnaby to get over his anxieties and trust issues from past relationships, the two have built a strong bond and love each other very much.
