Cellbit stands in one of the new rooms in the Order, backpack next to a chest as he riffles through it. His back and his hands ache from the effort, now at ten hours of building and sorting. But, each piece must be examined and here, in rooms to non-egg investigations, selected by what to show. There's the sound of the door opening, and he pays it no mind. Probably someone checking the photos of the eggs, or Foolish back to nap on the couch he made instead of in his house, or Pac checking on Mike still in the clinic.
He just... Needs to get this done. Get everything set up, and they will be one step closer to safe.
"Hey Cellbit."
Philza's voice comes from the doorway; Cellbit twists to look. There are four arrows in the man's arm, and blood dripping down his face, and a familiar blue backpack in his hand.
Cellbit knows better than to ask.
"Philza!" he calls back. "You didn't call?"
"Saw you were here on the map and thought I'd drop by," he shrugs. "Not sure its any good, but I've got more stuff for you. Chatted to WB017 a bit more, and I've started cataloguing the black concrete spread."
Philza is careful as he passes the bag over, making sure none of the blood drips on it. As soon as it is in Cellbit's hands, he reaches up to wipe some blood out of his eyes.
Cellbit's hands shake from exhaustion as he puts the rather full backpack on the floor, searching through it. Philza's info is always good, and organised better than anyone else's, but it still needs sorting.
Seeing the books still unlabelled he pulls out an anvil, getting ready to do it himself.
"All of these are from WB017?"
"Pretty sure," Philza replies. "Books on the third row were a different day, and forgot to check who I was talking to."
Cellbit nods, and makes a note of it. "Monday, Wednesday, Friday, top to bottom?"
Philza nods. "Same pattern for the photos, too. Did my best to match angles, but some of the Hallowe'en decorations got in the way."
Nobody had really considered tracing the spread of the black concrete, though perhaps they should have been. Quickly skimming through the photos he can see just how fast it is now going. The books, too, serve to confirm both some of the internal Federation structure, and their growing terror for the island and their lives.
One of the books slips from his hand, shaking in exhaustion.
Philza replaces it with a bucket of milk before reaching down to grab it. He shakes the pages straight before closing it, but cannot avoid smearing a little blood on the cover.
Cellbit does his best to drink the milk, and tosses a splash potion at his friend.
Neither of them say anything, but Cellbit is certain that his own exhaustion is just as apparent as Philza's.
"Any ideas?" Cellbit kneels a little more quickly than is controlled, and returns to labeling the items.
Philza shrugs, "not really? Though I'm starting to wonder if the big structures might be entry points for whatever the eggs are so afraid of."
Cellbit trusts Philza's judgement more than his own; he quickly notes the idea in his own notebook. It might explain why the codes took such an interest in the spaceships...
As he works, Philza joins him on the floor, also sitting heavily. "I just don't know why my eggs' photos were so far out... They loved those places, but they're not safe. Just... distant."
The past tense again; Cellbit doesn't remember quite when it started, doesn't see his favourite informant often enough for that, but he knows it was around when Philza's photos turned up.
Funny how Richarlyson's photo gave him home, while Chayanne and Tallulah's broke Philza's.
"If the monsters are in town, places far out might be safer than anywhere," Cellbit muses.
"... I'm going to kill anyone that so much as looked at them."
Philza doesn't look intimidating as he says it, sat on a concrete floor with his knees hugged close to his chest. His eyes, however, are furious, framed by drying blood. Exhausted, reckless fury.
"We will," Cellbit catches those eyes with fury of his own. "We will."

helloooo it's selene once again! and listed under things i should not be doing but am doing anyway ⏤ is roh jihoon, former olympic skater and now he's just some dude trying to live a nice life, supposedly. he's kind of a loser but please love my son anyways LOL anywho, his profile and background are ready to go for the most part, but i'm gonna try hard to give y'all a sparknotes version because that bio is too damn long. also some plots too. please like this post and i'll come to you and as always, disc is preferred for plotting!
⏤ TL;DR
comes from a family of politicians and automobile makers, think hyundai & kia. dad is a politician who attempted to run for president once before, mom is a news anchor, sister is a well known actress. image is everything ofc so he knows he has to be something great
he takes to figure skating when he is young because he's good at it, much to his father's chagrin about it not being a man's sport or whatever. regardless he puts his all into it because that's what he's taught, and everything that does not involve being in the rink he doesn't care about tbh.
childhood and teenagerdom is rather uneventful, so fast forward to nineteen where one of his competition pieces ends up going viral mainly b/c of his looks and not talent. the attention he receives overnight is annoying especially he feels like his "fans" don't really care about his craft, but his skating federation loves it and wants to strike the iron while it's hot, getting brand and commercial gigs ( mainly for sports / fitness things ) and becoming male singles skating's current posterboy.
fast forward again when he's 21, ends up making the korean national team and securing a silver medal in the olympics. his career is booming, and even he has to admit that it's nice. people think he could easily get a gold next go around.
due to his fame his coach ends up getting a slew of new hopefuls to train under him, and he takes a liking to one named kiwoo who almost has an innate ability for skating. however, it turns out because of all the attention he's getting he's also being violently bullied for a while. when kiwoo gets hospitalized jihoon decides to step in.
gives medical records to his coach, tries reporting it to the higher ups, nothing. he doesn't know if the bullies are being protected or if this is just the way it is but he isn't having it and ends up in a fist fight with both bullies next time they're in the locker room together. when he reports that incident to the higher ups, and investigation is had when makes him think something might get done. instead during the interview portion they end up dismissing it, saying he's making something out of nothing and trying to get him to sign an nda along with some bribes for his silence. jihoon says i think the fuck not and immediately announces his retirement instead. it's definitely sudden and leaves a lot of his fans confused, but he's disgusted and no longer has a passion to skate anymore.
dude can't take this sitting down so he tries to get some vindication by sending in the info that he assaulted his juniors to gossip girl, in hopes that the public will look past the what and want to know why. but they don't look past the what, and his image is effectively tarnished. the pretty much loses all his deals, and gets in a severe argument with his father which ends up in a slap and jihoon being forced to study abroad so he won't cause any more shit. doesn't help that his federation are acting like they did their jobs and forced him to retire as punishment.
while he's away some whistleblowers come out with more stories on corruption within the korean figure skating federation, which launches a full blown investigation by the national intelligence service. kiwoo is one of them, who reveals the motivation behind jihoon's actions and that he voluntarily retired because of it. in terms of his public image it helps somewhat ⏤ some people can understand how he did what he did, while others think that he's still wrong and doesn't want to see him.
anyway he's returns when he's 25 and because gossip girl is gone, no one knows or cares LOL. he doesn't go back to figure skating and spends the his time finishing up his degree. his family leaves him be for a year before forcing him back in the spotlight though ( because you gotta be great ofc ), his sister pulling strings to get him a modeling contract. he's kind of the person that also lets life happen to him and he's not doing anything else of merit after graduating college, so why not.
within the last year he's gotten a job as a personal trainer, because he has bulked tf up while in america and enjoys working out a positive way to release his stress; and for once, he actually enjoys what he does!
and yeah that's it! sorry that was not sparknotes but i did my best! fjslkfjds
⏤ PLOTS
former fans? or people who think that his good guy persona is fake after his scandal has come to light?
or people who just don't like him because despite being nice he can be too tactless with his words and unintentionally might hurt feelings
some neighbor plots would be super cute tho! he doesn't do anything so he'd be a good neighbor on top of being able to like fix shit or kill bugs or whatever because he's very capable!
give me exes or former / current situationships? or even crushes? jihoon is Not a perceptive man and you'll have to spell out your feelings for him in order for him to get it LMFAO
but in the same vein also interested in him coming back to high school exes that he essentially ignored b/c he was so focused on his career and he would like to make it up to them somehow
someone that tries to get him to live his life and stop following the commands of others! he's on his way there but needs a little push
also bad influence, or someone that takes advantage of his kindness and he may know this but? he's not a doormat but why doesn't he put an end to it? could also be someone he keeps coming back to even though he shouldn't
or on the other end someone that he keeps bickering with constantly because they always have opposing viewpoints, thinks they're a bad person
hook ups, one night stands, friends with benefits because he has needs LOL but maybe one he fell for too and it ended terribly and now things are just awkward
someone he can go to for advice?? dude always looks for the best in people and it ends up biting him in the ass, and he just don't be knowing anything so he needs someone he can bring his dumb questions too and won't judge him :(

Dirty Water
Benny 'Borracho' Magalon x Robyn Banks (Black!OC)
Summary: Robb met a couple of shady characters calling themselves cops. Well it just so happens they are, and they're worse than she first thought.
Masterlist
Word count: 2.5k words
Rating/Warning(s): +16 Mature | kidnapping, mild torture, tied up, wanna be clear: IRL I do not condone hooking up with a person who kidnapped you or was complicit in kidnapping you, it just don't work out like that in reality
AN: so basically I'm gonna write and post this in whatever order I please, then go back and figure it out later. Since my brain has jumped back on the Pascal bandwagon, it's hard to focus outside of his body of work but I'm still coming back to this story with relative ease.
Tumblr media
Just when she'd started to warm up again, a another shower of ice cold mop water was pitched over her head. Robyn sputtered and coughed, trying not to swallow the suds in her mouth or let them see her cry to keep the dirt out of her eyes. From the shadows that danced beyond her eyelids, she could tell the alleged cop who called himself Nick was crouching in front of her.
"Last chance, sweetheart," the dirty cop said. "Tell me how you know Tony D'Onofrio."
Fuck.
Seven years ago, two federal agents walked in on officer Robyn Banks being sentenced to traffic duty. She didn't mind– she was fed up with the secrets her colleagues were forcing her to keep anyways. Maybe stepping down could help her clear her head, maybe give her time to compartmentalize those events and feelings. Only now could she say that the rest of her career was already out of her hands.
"Those agents on that file? They approached me about D'Onofrio. Said he was my moby dick. Made a big deal about 'justice' and 'law and order' and 'the sanctity of the badge." Robyn spit more mop water onto the floor and continued, "I told them I didn't know what the fuck it had to do with me and they just sorta looked at each other."
The blond man– Nick called him Z, she thinks– crossed his arms. "Quit jerkin us around, Banks, get to the fucking point."
Nick held up a hand. "Easy, tiger. I asked for a story and that's what I'm hearing. Keep going, Robbie."
Robyn scowled on the inside. "They told me he was my father. More like a sperm donor than anything, he probably didn't even know I was alive."
"Now that is interesting," Nick purred.
He cut the zip tie binding her arm to the rolly chair and handed her a towelette to wipe her eyes. She dared not reach for the tie on her other arm, lest her captors think she's pulling a move to escape. Instead she dabbed the sweat and mop water that soaked into the skin of her neck and face to pause and think about her next words.
"That was the basis of the deal. I join their investigation undercover, see if I can get somewhere with my connection, and help them put one of the biggest crime bosses on this side of the coast away for good. In exchange, I get to call the shots, they'd put in a good word with my CO and elevate me to detective status instead of beat cop."
"Thought you liked being a beat cop," the one in the silk flamingo shirt said.
"Apparently nobody believes that."
"So," Nick steepled his fingers beneath his aquiline nose in thought, "your end of the deal wasn't even your idea? How does that work?"
"Sounds like she got something else out of it," the bald man in the white polo accused.
Robyn glared at him, but she didn't contradict him. If she wanted to be listened to, she needed to stay calm. Stay calm, stay alive. Go home with the minimal amount of PTSD.
"Do you want me to tell you what happened or not?" When nobody raised any more objections, she continued. "I agreed to their terms. Next I know, I'm climbing the criminal ladder, dropping bread crumbs about my parentage, two years goes by, yada yada yada, and then bam. I have a meeting with the heir apparent to the Italian mafia.
"At that meeting I told Tony D'Onofrio he knew my mother and that I knew they had been dating around the time I was born–"
"Conceived–"
"Yeah that– he stared at me for so long I forgot how to breathe and then… he… believed me."
A pin dropped somewhere in the empty parking garage. A dog barked wildly a mile away but could still be heard in the silence that followed. Robyn still couldn't believe he'd bought it either.
"He just… believed you," Nick said skeptically.
Robyn could do nothing but shrug. "I never got the details, I couldn't ask my mom about it and Tony never gave me any indication that he knew about me before that meeting. He just asked me what I wanted and did it."
Nick dragged his eyes over her form, shivering and glistening, and then-- "what did you ask him?"
Robyn felt her eyes gloss over as she tried to remember what mysterious force compelled her to say the exact right words. "I told him all I wanted was for him to know, to see him with my own eyes and know he was real. I said I didn't need any favors or special treatment. I just needed some closure."
That was all. And the agents had been fucking furious with her. They had accused her of using them, of being a traitor and a spy for D'Onofrio or a mastermind cat-woman type villain and all manner of other terrible things. They were ready to pull the plug on the whole operation when Tony had offered her a better job. A job where she would come face- to- face with every schmoe on Tony's payroll.
"Tony offered me a job 'running errands.' Not quite in his inner circle but higher in his ranks than I had any business being," Robyn said. "Most of the people doing these jobs were kids, easy to get around the city undetected and reliable. Now he knew I wasn't a kid but I guess he wanted to see more from me, put his best eyes on me to see if I was legit."
Nick nodded and stood up (his knees popping like broken branches). He walked over to Murphy in the flamingo shirt and passed a few inaudible words between them. Robyn wasn't skilled in the art of lip reading, and failed to catch anything from Murphy except the word 'pointless.' It rubbed her the wrong way, sending a spark of fear through her that quickly dulled back into the numbness of being helplessly bound to a chair. She needed to finish this soon before she completely cracked.
Nick returned to her side, chasing some pepto bismol with a flask of what smelled like tequila in it. "That's a very sweet story, Robbie, really it is. But… what I wanna know is why you're not in this file."
"That's not what you asked me," she griped, then backpedaled into, "I'm trying to tell you why I'm not in the file. But in order to tell you that, I have to tell you what was left out of the file first. I'm getting to the point, I just… there's a lot of shit to sift through."
Nick nodded like a patient father (yeah, right). "Just the good parts then."
"Yeah," she nodded quickly, "just the good parts..."
"The good parts, uhm. Well he did learn to trust me. I barely had to do anything just… let him try to kindle a relationship between us. I started calling him dad at his request, nobody bothered me or questioned me after that and I didn't abuse it, expect on the downlow giving info to the feds. He liked that about me– he liked me. We'd talk about my mom and he'd let his guard slip, started taking me to his meetings and asking me to deliver his important paperwork."
"I let him think I was with him and documented everything I could for six more years." In truth, she had had some doubts. About putting him away and the vacuum of power it would create, about the dichotomy of good versus evil, about her career. In that last year, she had actually warmed to the idea of becoming a detective and getting to do work with her own moral backbone and not someone else's. "We made the arrest January 19th and put him away for a dime."
Nick leaned so far forward in his chair Rob had to lean back. "This is the part where you wrap it up, sweetcheeks."
Robyn gulped. "Gomer and Valentine pushed me out. They'd been acting really strange at the end, wearing these shit eating grins and looking at each other, and then they iced me out. Had me fired on the grounds that I was too close to the perp, used a fucking Christmas photo for evidence. There went the Italian mob's heir and seven years of hardwork, and I wouldn't even be mentioned by name in the case file. No testimony, no credit, just a dishonorable discharge and dumped on my ass in the streets."
"Wow." Nick rubbed a hand down his face like he was the exhausted one. "That's quite the story, princess."
He looked at each of his mates, every face stonier than the last. Especially the silent one's, the latino guy. Then he looked back at Robyn and smiled with a lot of teeth.
"I do have some questions though, if you'll let me." Sure like I have a choice. "Now it wasn't public knowledge you were in on the investigation, but I find it hard to believe your dad's lackeys didn't know it was you who turned him in. And what I find even harder to believe is that they'd let you live for it."
Robyn said nothing. There was a part of her that didn't quite grasp it either. When she had arrested him, when she'd slapped the cuffs on him herself and read him his Miranda rights, after the shock of her betrayal wore off, Tony had congratulated her.
"I'm proud of you, kid. You may be a narc but at least you got your head straight. You got guts, kid."
As far as she understood it, his last order as the leader of the mafia was not to harm her in any way. Nobody bothered her. They still knew her face on the streets, sent glares her way but never touched her. One of his underlings had come to her place and suggested she skip town permanently just to be safe. It was not a courtesy she ever expected from anyone let alone a man with a reputation for high profile robbery and murder.
She didn't know what to expect. "I guess he really did love me." And Nick left it at that.
~
Robyn was unbound, blindfolded, and dumped right back onto the street those so called cops had snatched her from. Her legs shook as she walked the last block to her place, utterly miserable and in desperate need of some sleep. Maybe tomorrow she could figure out what the fuck her life had come to. She showered (and cried) and picked up the half drunk beer from her fridge and brought it out on her front steps, taking a sip of the flat beverage and wishing it was something stronger.
People passed below her on the streets, never once looking up. The traffic never disappeared but it did lull this time of night. She didn't mean to– barely noticed she was doing it– but she found a pack of cigarettes in her overcoat and lit one up.
"Next time," she promised herself. I'll try to quit next time.
Just as she was beginning to ease the tension that had been weighing on her all night, a man climbed the steps to her building and pointedly slowed down to a stop a few feet away from her. She chanced a glare at him and found him no stranger which was somehow infinitely worse.
"Fuck off," her nerves got the better of her, "I told you everything, can't I at least get some sleep first?!"
The man lifted his hands in defense, carrying a bottle in a brown bag in one of them. He was, well, he was the handsome one. The Cuban with the neck tattoo and broad shoulders. His eyes seemed a lot softer now Despite the dark setting.
"Swear on my life, I'm not here for Nick." He took a single step up, waiting to see how she'd react, and when she didn't run, he took another and set the covered bottle down next to her before backing off. Still skeptical, Robyn carefully unwrapped the thing, revealing an expensive looking wine label. Dark red. "It's an apology," he explained with his hands in his pockets, "Nick thinks he's this big, clever actor but he can be a real bully when he drinks."
Robyn gave him the 'do I look like an idiot' eyebrow and he had the decency to look at his feet. "We could really use your help with this, Banks. Nick forgot to mention the part where Tony was put on parole for good behavior. He'll be out tomorrow."
"He what." That's just the thing isn't it? The case that ended her career permanently and he just got to walk off after only serving two years of his sentence. That was the real crime here. Robyn gritted her teeth, gripped the neck of the bottle and squeezed. She started shaking it like it was her criminal father, or the weasel federal agents who took her credit, or the dirty cops who kidnapped her tonight.
Borracho looked concerned. "Do you need a corkscrew or– "
Robyn shrugged off her jacket and looked him dead in the eye as she wrapped it around the base of the bottle and gently banged it on the porch step until the cork exploded into the air (along with a third of the bottle's contents but whatever). Borracho raised a hand to protect his face from the spray, and turned away to hide a silly grin.
"Nevermind," he said, shaking the excess drink off his hand. "Listen, if he calls you about anything, please let us know."
He pointed to the bag, which had a phone number on it. "Don't let your work be in vain."
"You try that line on everybody?" Rob was feeling a little facetious in the face of mercy, over tired from the revelations, and pissed off by these fucking pigs. "Your good cop, bad cop routine needs some balance. Did you know I was kidnapped today? Now this wine is a start but you'd better step it up, good cop."
He started to walk away but she called out, "I got Nick, Z, and Murphy. Clocked 'Gus' by the name written on his underwear. Which one are you?"
"Benny," he threw back, and disappeared into the nighttime traffic.
"Benny," Rob scoffed. "Cute ass."
Robb drank the equivalent of two glasses, then passed out from exhaustion. She slept dreamlessly and tried to forget last night had ever happened. Benny, in the meantime, returned to the office where his crew was huddled around a phone receiver.
"Don't appreciate you throwing me under the bus, B," Nick growled from his seat.
"Shup up and drink this," Benny pushed the glass of raw eggs closer to his boss' hand, a so called 'hangover cure'. Nick shrunk back a little.
"Told you she'd be sweet on him," Z elbowed Murphy in the ribs and ignored his protesting 'um actually I said that.'
"Wouldn't call her sweet," Benny said, grunting as he took up residence at his own desk. "She looked like a feral cat."
Nick laughed. "Yeah well don't go getting mixed up with that pussy, B, we've got work to do."
It was gonna be another long night for everybody.

Here is my entry for @covered-byroses turning 1 writing challenge!
This is my first time writing anything for others to see, and it kinda got away from me... Had to cut it off where i did for now because it juat kept going and going and going..... And next thing i know wow.
Summary: You have a secret you've kept hidden all this time. Until something kills your husband and threatens to expose everything. Just so happens a couple hunters get more than the case they signed up for.
Pairing: none (yet 😘)
Warnings: character death (vaguely/generally discribed)
A quiet normal life was obviously too much to ask for. The past few years had been a lot of running around from place to place, ducking monsters and hunters. Was there nowhere that didn't have some kind of monster in it? How hard was it really?
The monsters never bothered you, they all seemed to know something was off and to stay away. You don't bother them, they don't bother you, simple as that. But some the hunters that came after them were different, these humans that have made it their duty to protect the clueless ones could be dangerous. Some of them have let the jobs get into their heads, and it's changed them. That's why you always left any town they came to, just to be safe.
Angels and demons on the other hand were absolute nightmares. You had spent more than your fair share with them and fighting them. If an angel was in a town, it was drop everything and run before they see you. Demon, leave before a hunter comes since most demons topside were too young go recognize you.
With all the constant moving, you were alone.
Until you met your (murdered) husband. He was a self proclaimed free spirit. Loved to move from place to place and rarely stayed anywhere for more than a few months. You had been hesitant but eventually warmed up to him and before long married, and fell in love. Since he just sooo happened to show up in the same places as you, he was a risk you wanted to take. He was your guilty pleasure, and his death was your fault.
He never knew what hit him. But obviously some demon went looking for the legend not even your dear old dad believed.
After your husband was murdered, you made it your obsession to find and kill it. Someone was talking and it wasn't going to end well.
You had been looking around and discovered that there was apparently a pack of wolves living in town. Small pack, looks to be exclusively family unit. Mother, father, and 2 girls (possibly nearing their 20s) and a teenage boy.
Of course… never a dull moment.
Not too surprising being in the middle of nowhere texas, but in the weeks you had been watching them they only fed on their livestock.
Which makes other murders in town very strange. What ever was responsible made sure to make it look like a werewolf attack.
Sam and Dean had been interviewing the investigators and witnesses all day for these “animal attacks”.
“Sounds like a werewolf Sammy,” Dean said opening a beer from the mini fridge.
“Yeah. Where is it hiding though?” Sam mused leaning back in the ratty bedside chair. “No one i touched was bothered by the silver ring today.”
“Good idea of Bobby's by the way. I might have to go check the local talent with it,” Dean said with a smirk lounging on one of the two small beds in the motel room.
“Dude,”
“oh Lighten up Sammy. I was gonna let you go first this time”
“Do whatever you want. I'm going to bed.” Sam rolled his eyes before moving to the other bed, that was a few inches too short for him “Remember we have to talk to the widows tomorrow so try not to have hooker glitter on you this time.”
“That only happened once.”
You didn't like to make a habit of being near hunters but you couldn't leave town now. It had only been a few months since you were married and less than a year since you and your husband had known each other. But that didn't make it hurt any less. It had been so long since you had had someone close to you.
You had visited the wolfs farm, this time to talk instead of spy, this morning before work at the small second hand clothes shop downtown. The Hensen's, you should probably remember their name. They were nice and accommodating once convinced you weren't there to harm them. Josh, the husband, wide and sturdy man was willing and ready to end any threat to his family. (Oh those hunters are going to have fun with this one) Amelia, the mother, tall woman towering over you although extremely soft spoken due to then she was turned her throat had very nearly been ripped out leaving a large angry scar. (You wondered if the big one of the two hunters was taller than her) The girls were twins, Anna and Marie, simple small town girls. And the son, Rich, solid country muscle farm boy.
They had been living there for years, long enough to build up that farm and to have the stock numbers to cover their feeding habits. They always sold or gave away what they didn't need. Most of the town thought they ran a home butcher shop and over the years that's what it turned into. But now with the murders and the hunters in town they were all on high alert.
Those hunters were going around town talking to the other 3 widows. Now you could see them through the store window across the street parking that vintage beauty. Both of them were way too sexy to be whatever government agents they were pretending to be. Sex with your husband (the few times it did happen) was great it was meaningful, but he would rather sleep under the stars or not leave the couch unless absolutely necessary to binge on something. But these two hunters made you think sinful thoughts.
Oh if only boys.
Putting on your customer service voice “Good afternoon gentleman. How can I help you?”
“We're federal agents in town working the recent animal attack cases,” the shorter of the two stated as they flash very nice but very fake FBI badges. “We were wondering if there was a (y/n y/l/n) here.”
“That would be me.” not even trying to remember the names on the ids, they wouldn't be real anyway. “Are you going to find out what happened to my husband?”
“Yes ma'am, we are very sorry for your loss,” now it's the taller ones turn “but we were hoping we could ask you a few questions?”
Giving them a sad smile before turning back to arrange new rack of clothes “Sure but i'm the only one here until closing at 6. You can ask here or wait until then.”
The tall one narrowed his eyes slightly. He seemed to want to say something else.
I don't even know what I'm not supposed to know. Normal people don't think werewolf right?
“How 'bout you meet us at the diner down the street when you get off? You can help us out over a quick bite,” he stepped around the small rolling rack of new clothes to make you look at him.
“Sure,” you try your best to hold back fake tears “I'll be there about 15 after.”
Too bad you didn't have time to creep on them before the diner, you have to admit they were nice to look at.
They're waiting in a booth in the back, both on one side with backs against the wall to watch everyone else. The tall one with long hair politely waves his hand when you enter. The shorter one has beautiful green eyes, he stands and helps you into the benchseat across from them. The had already ordered you a coffee and a glass of water.
“Thank you for coming Ms (y/l/n),” says the tall one
“How long were you and your husband living here before he was attacked?” Asks the green eyed hunter
“We only came here about a month ago. We didn't plan on staying, we wanted to travel around the country. You know live on the road,” You say not entirely lying “we just pick somewhere to go and get some small jobs around to hold us over for a bit.”
“Wait you don't live here?” Asked the tall one, he was trying to hide his suspicion with empathy.
Hunters…
“No, I'm still staying in the little motel,” you say “I was going to switch rooms but… i couldn't bring myself to…” you say fake holding back tears, you've shed all the tears you needed. Now you want the thing that killed him to suffer.
“We're sorry.” Says the tall one, his features soften and he gives you a look of genuine sympathy. “Why did you stay? Couldn't you have gone back home?”
“Neither of us have any family anywhere, we’re alone.” Now you hold back real tears, suddenly very interested in that coffee.
Taking a sip you realize why it was there before you were. Holy water. It stings some now when it usually doesn't, but you hold your composure. These two aren't playing around, they legitimately think you're the killer.
When green eyes shifts his hands on the table you notice why he helped you into the seat.
Holy water and silver rings, these two are a lot more interesting than i thought.
You sigh and decide to tell them what they want to know… sort of.
“I'm not the one who killed those people or my husband.” you whisper. They glance at each other and some unspoken thing goes between them but before they can feed you more BS you continue. “It wasn't a werewolf either. I know it looks bad but the bodies should have been more tore up, when has a wolf ever ripped out a heart without leaving any other marks?”
“Ma'am werewolves don't exist. We know traumatic experiences like this ca--” the long haired giant begins but green eyes stops him.
“Sam she knows.” He whispers to him “I guess we can cut the act for you then.” He directs to you this time. “What do you know?”
Mmm like to be incharge do ya not-sam.
“I'll tell you what I know but it's not much, and not here. I'm leaving in the morning,” You say “meet me at the butchers farm outside town in an hour.” You get up to leave not waiting for an answer.
After the 15 minute walk back to the motel you enter your room. You spare one last glance at the first bed and your heart clenches. You just need to pack the few clothes you have in your backpack and the essentials and be on your way to the farm. You plan on staying with the wolves until the hunters leave and your mind is too preoccupied with things to take and things to leave you didn't notice the rug was moved. Then you bumped the barrier reaching for the moon necklace your husband had given you. You had been so hurt and angry lately you hadn't been careful enough.
“Told you Sammy.” You heard from the doorway
You had not been pissed before but you were now. Hunters, always shoot first and ask questions after. Between angels, demons, and hunters you couldn't catch a break.
“Why'd you do it? Was he even your husband or just some poor sap that happened to be passing through town at the same time?” Sam asked accusingly
“It's not what you think” you say taking a breath to calm down and try and get out of the circle. But green eyes cuts you off.
“Why do you demons think you can just kill whenever you want and we won't find you,” he opens a small leather book “ now were going to save that poor girl you're wearin--”
“I LOVED HIM! LOOK AROUND YOU IDIOT!” So much for calm. You raise your hand and they both are flung against the headboards. You shut your eyes and take another breath.
You feel the darkness fading and with it the circles hold as you step over the barrier, careful to keep your hold on the men before you. You open your eyes to see them staring wide eyed and speechless. Their eyes locked on yours, you know they see the black they are used to but yours also have the familiar blue-white glow as well.
“What are you?” Sam breathes
Striding to the nightstand between the beds you slowly take your necklace before answering “I WILL find out who killed my husband, with or without your help. You have 20 minutes to be at the butchers now and I'll tell you what i know.” You say firmly making your way to the door making sure to walk through the circle again for them to see.
You spare one last look at them. “You know if i was into being on this end of things you two might be in trouble like that”
You release your hold on them as you slip out the door on the last word.
Something was different about the boy when you had ran into him that morning before the hunters came to the shop and you were hoping you were wrong.
Even if I'm right I can just fix him when I'm done.
You had been running since you left the motel, you're not going back to that little car you had since someone probably will recognize it again.
“(Y/N)!”
You skid to a stop in front of the Hensen's gate, trying to slow your breathing and heart rate after the 2 mile run.
“(Y/N)!” It must be one of the twins running up the drive yelling for you.
“Please. There's something wrong with Rich.”
Just then you hear the roar of the hunters car coming up the road.
“Get the rest of your family and hide. DO NOT come out until i come get you.” You grab her shoulders and make her look at you “Where is he?”
“He- he's in the barn. Mom is went after him, please don't let them hurt them.” She sobs
You shove her toward the house “GO!” Then tear off to the barn in the light of the hunters impala.
Just before you reach the barn a body is thrown through the doors, you manage to stop it in the air before it smashes into you. It's the mother, you lay her gently at your feet never touching her. It's been so long since you've used your powers it feels good to do it again.
“Don't you touch her!” The green eyed hunter yells gun drawn on you.
You hover your hand over the mother and let the healing white light do its job. Both men stand above you guns at the ready.when When you're done you snap your fingers and send her to her own bed far away from the hunters, still unsure if they will leave this family alone.
Dean and I argued the whole way to the farm about (y/n). He thinks it's some kind of demon trick that she got out of the devils trap, that she must have broke the circle before stepping in it. But i saw her run into it, it stopped her from reaching the nightstand when she reached out.
Then her still using her powers on us while trapped shouldn't be possible. And those eyes. Cas’ eyes only glow blue-white in the iris’, and no other angel has black around them. Whatever she is we've never seen anything like her.
'Into being on this end of things…’ more arousing than it should be coming from a possible demon.
'Into being on this end of things…’ more arousing than it should be coming from a possible demon.
Before we could act she snapped away the wife.
“You people are always shoot first and answers later.” She stood us to her full height, barely coming to the middle of my chest before swinging around to face Dean.
“MOVE” she shoves past my brother and i have to hide a laugh
“Wait! We don't know what's in there.” I try to stop her but she's already opening the doors before either of us can stop her.
“Ugh. Just stand still and I do everything. hunters…”
What must be the farmers son is standing in the middle of the loft above us cocky smile and black eyes.
"I didnt think you were real little one"
