Tsunku said back in November he was stressed about what direction to go in for Morning Musume's first post-Fukumura single and said he was considering giving them a global vibe so they can appeal to an audience outside of Japan. Please NO. I think what Snowman (the male idol group) has been doing the past 2 years is what Tsunku should do for Morning Musume. Fun music wota will like and full of personality but still sounds fresh and new.
Yumigeta: I suppose that many of the other idols change their outfits and hairstyles to keep up with the trends of the times. But the members of Morning Musume, In a good way, are only interested in what they like, and are very particular about it. Especially Makino-san is. I'm also the type of person who prefers clothes that I like rather than what's trendy. So that's what I like about Morning Musume.
モーニング娘。16期&17期とつんく♂のスペシャル座談会!
Out of boredom I've been watching H!P wota youtubers and a lot of them yearn for that "Tsunku feeling" and Tsunku's influence on production and auditions again. If you think about when Tsunku had complete control that was a very small window of 1997 to early 2001. He was a rock band vocalist in his late 20s to early 30s at the time. Tsunku is 55 now. If anything Upfront should be hiring fresh young talent who aren't typical idol producers to bring in that same energy.
I know we'll likely never get another rhythm heaven game following Tsunku's cancer, but does that team need to pump out Warioware game after Warioware game? Burnout the team too much and we will never get another Warioware game again.

Hi Puts, there are a few websites stated that Keiko took the first audition of Morning Musume and she quitted without attending the 2nd audition due to lack of interest. Is this a true info that revealed by Keiko? I had tried to search about it but couldn't find any image/video related. Furthermore, there isn't any related topic when I search with Japanese.
Hi there!
If I remember correctly, Keiko talked about this in her appearance on the monthly exclusive live stream series [Tsunku ♂ Entertainment ♪ Salon]
Tsunku is the producer of Morning Musume and he also wrote a song for Keiko - Sakura wo Goran.
Check out my post about the program digest in which I summarise all the juicy highlights. There is also a link to the full interview (~55min). In the digest, Keiko mentioned that she auditioned for the third generation of Morning Musume (when someone named Maki Goto was still a member). There is some elaboration in the full video. If I understand her correctly, it wasn't so much a lack of interest that stopped her from getting further ahead in the audition but it was more about not wanting to do the whole thing all by herself, she wanted to do it together with a friend...
Maybe Keiko talked about this in another video/Instagram Live but I honestly can't remember.
