Townie Makeover #3: Goth Family

The Goth Family was easily next on my list. They're too iconic to NOT include in my new save. It was pretty fun going back and studying up on all their lore for this one. I had NO idea that Bella Goth had died. Didn't keep it 100% lore accurate but I put my own twist on it.

I really loved @adelarsims version of Cassandra (being a huge paranormal fan and all) so I kinda adapted that and added to her story.

** MORTIMER **

Didn't change Mortimer much beside skin details and a new outfit. He was already fine to begin with.

The Goth family fell apart after the death of Bella Goth. Almost immediately Mortimer began dating Dina Calliente who needless to say, isn't exactly the best "step-mom".

After the occult war all of the living occults went into hiding, which lead humans to believe they went exitinct. But Cassandra never bought that one bit. Years after the occult war Bella Goth randomly went missing without a trace, only to turn up dead on a strange island called Lunar Lakes (an island across the world and far away from their home). How did she get all the way to Lunar Lakes? Why was there 0 evidence and a dead lead? Cassandra didn't believe any of it.

Cassandra dug deep into her family history, finding out even more shady stuff. For one, her great granfather had died due to a "magic bean incident" (whatever that means) and she also had a secret dead family member who was completely erased from the family tree named Lolita Goth.

Cassandra could only connect this all to one thing: the occult. They had to be involved in some way. Perhaps an alien came in and swooped her mother away or wiped the memories of everyone, erasing Lolita Goth's existence ot just something. In some way, the occult were involved. And to take it a step further, Cassandra believes that Calliente's are also involved. Perhaps they themeselves are occult?

I mean c'mon. Your mom's last seen at Don Lothario's house, she goes missing without a trace, the Callinete's move in the very next day, your dad starts dating one of them, reports come out saying your mother was spotted in a strange town looking lost and with possible amnies, she then turns up dead on a mysterious island, far away from home, Don Lothario then all of a sudden moves in with the Calliente's, it's somehow gotta all be connected there's no way it's not, right?

Cassandra has now made it her lifes goal to find out the truth about her family and the occult aswell. Cassandra even started her schools first, and only, ever occult club (she is however the only member of this club). Everyone thinks Cassandra is crazy for believing in this occult bullcrap, but Cassandra's 100% convinced occults are still real and alive and that they have something to do with her family, and she's already got one lead right in front of her. The Callientes.

If you want my honest opinion, I think the Callientes are secret aliens who kidnapped then killed Bella so they could get with Mortimer. Also I think Mortimer is involved in her death somehow in some way. Wish we had the answers to these questions. Damn you Sims 4 for not following the original timeline!

Funnily enough Cassandra is the main character of this family now that her mothers dead LOL. I have an idea for Mortimers story and once I get to the Calliente's, you'll see what it is :)

Sadly Alexander doesn't really have as expanded of a story that the rest of the family does. Maybe when he ages up i'll figure smth out.

I wanted to try and makeover Alexander Goth a bit without changing his facial features much. I only changed his lips I think. 

I think he looks similar to how he did in sims 2 but he is darker and his nose a little bit wider:

This is Chromeo. He lets everyone at school slap stickers and doodle on him for clout. Being a rebel is in his programming. He's an eternal teenager, created by a totally-not-mad scientist after the loss of his human son in a tragic accident. He's a bit special and not the most ideal servo model, but we all love him.

Wednesday Goth Bedroom (CC Pack for The Sims 4)

Here is the second part of what I wanted to accomplish for this October and November, and now you know what this theme was about! I have always been a fan of The Addams Family so this time I wanted to do something to play with them in The Sims 4.

In this CC Pack you will find a collection of furniture to create a gothic slightly modern bedroom for your Sims, but I as always, I tried to make dynamic recolors so you can use them however you like.

I think my favorite piece of this set is the fireplace and the bed frame, I like how the gothic details in the stone and wood ended up. 

This is obviously a perfect combination with my Love for Gothic Windows and Doors CC Pack.

"Wow, you sleep here?!" Belladonna went to Jim's Birthday party at Goth Mansion. The moment she knocked on the immense door she feared the woman whi kicked her out the other night would answer again, but a very happy Jim came to answer instead. He was a little perplexed that little Belladonna came alone since he had invited her family. "They are busy. Work, you know..." she adds. Jim apologize for the absence of her own parents. His mother is busy entertaining a friend, while his father is away for work. So that's what dad says when he comes to see me and nana, thinks Belladonna, He lies to his other family to see us... In Jim (and his brother's) gigantic room Belladonna feels very poor and even a bit angry. This could have been her life, yet she lives in a house where she doesn't even have her own room. But Jim doesn't know anything about it, he just wants to correct his mother's behavious and maybe make some friends. Belladonna can't really be mad at Jim for their mother's sins. "Yeah, I suppose it's a big bedroom..." says Jim. Belladonna gives Jim his present. It is his birthday after all, she had to bring him a gift. Of course she didn't really have any money to buy stuff, and she didn't tell her granny any of this (she just lied and told her she was going to play at the park in Oasis Spring). So the only thing she could offer was a very cool frog. Jim doesn't seem to mind, he cheerfully accept the gift and Belladonna feels she can maybe trust this older half-brother with a bit of truth.

"Jim, I have to tell you something. It's a long story, tho.'.." "It's okay, apparently all my so-called friends decided to go see my brother duel in the Magic Realm instead of coming to my party..." says Jim, sadly. "Magic Realm?? Is your brother a spellcaster?!" asks Belladonna without restrains. "Yes, as I am." "No way! Me too!" shouts Belladonna. Then she slaps her forehead "But of course you are, because our mother is a spellcaster too!". Belladonna stops. She said too much, perhaps. She didn't mean to blurt it out like that, she wanted the news to build in a climax, but Jim is already looking at her with wide-open eyes. "Our mother?" whispers Jim. Belladonna starts telling everything she knows, trying to put a start and an end to her tale. But it's not easy. She does tell im that Stormy doesn't know her to be her daughter, and that can only mean she never gave birth to her. Still, Belladonna understood she is her biological mother, since she is very sure Alexander is her father. She tries to tell Jim about her grandmother Bella, but the boy doesn't seem to know her at all and claims to have never even heard of her name before. "But she was the original owner of this mansion!" exclaims Belladonna, incredully "How come dad has never talked about his own mother to you or your brother?" "Mother isn't exactly the most reasonable when we ask about the previous owners of the house, especially lately..." says Jim reluctantly, then he adds "And now I know why. Belladonna, you are the rightful owner of our dad's fortune!" Belladonna didn't expect Jim to take the news in such a serene way. "I guess, but I don't really care about the money... I'm more interested in the spellcaster side of the family!" "I can't believe my mother could be so wicked!" snaps Jim suddenly. "But you are safe if she is still convinced you are Cassandra's daughter. You see, our dad, Alexander, he was like... well, a dad to me and my brother. And yes, we know we are not his biological sons, but he never really made us fell anything less than his own sons!" says Jim, and Belladonna can be how moved he is by their father's generosity. Then Jim sits at the desk, he seems absorbed in some tought. Then turns to Belladonna: "Since your powers will be showing soon, would you like to see the Magic Realm?"

Mortimer doesn't like family portraits, not after all those years he had to endure them as a child, but he'd do anything for Bela. His only condition is that they don't wear formal. Bela can live with that.

Unfortunately for them, this is the last family portrait they'll take with Bela. He goes missing not long after and Cassandra speculates that might be the reason why he was so adamant they did it in the first place.
