Salute to Bossa Nova, a Brazilian restaurant here in Hollywood that has traditionally been one of my favorites. Before I stopped eating the meats. But, its a Brazilian restaurant, so you wouldn’t think that you could find a great plant-based option, but you can… and unlike a lot of restos around here, it isn’t just a bullshit plate of grilled vegetables and rice. It’s actually a proper meal. The time is really up for all of these places that think they get a participation trophy for just having the obligatory “vegetarian menu” but they need to start offering real full ass meals that are vegetarian and vegan. I’m lucky where I live that this is pretty easy to find, but not always. Real restaurants with real chefs, heads chefs, should have incredible options that have nothing to do with dead animals.
