Fic: Proposal
Fandom/pairing: Glee, Kurt/Blaine
Event: December Klaine Fanworks Challenge 2023
Words: ~2200 words
Rating: Explicit
Summary: Blaine proposes they try something new sexually. Somehow, that turns into a proposal of another kind.
Notes: This is part of my Mormon!Klaine universe. It takes place after Out of Eden, which I am still in the process of posting to AO3. It’s among the likely possibilities for their future.
* * *
They collapsed against the mattress, shades of pink and mauve blotching their skin. Wow. They were getting good at this. Really good. And it's not like they'd had that many opportunities to tune their skills, what with this party and that get-together and this church activity and that double-date with Tina and Mike—not to mention that Blaine's mother was always around and the cats were constantly vying for Blaine's attention.
But now here they were, together, no one in the house except for them (and the cats,who were asleep in the sunroom). They had so far used their time together very wisely, starting with kissing and proceeding with stripping and then a slow, langorous session of licking and sucking, tapering off back to kisses when either of them got too excited, and that was its own kind of paradise, just being able to hold Blaine and make him shiver with even Kurt’s more demure touches.
Their desire had ebbed and troughed, ebbed and troughed, until finally they surrendered to the ascent. Kurt took Blaine’s cock into his mouth as he moved inside Blaine’s, and Blaine made an eager sound, sucking harder on Kurt, and he let Kurt take more of him, and more, until Kurt’s nose almost touched the downy pubic hair on Blaine’s balls.
Mmmm, Blaine groaned, his tongue moving on Kurt’s dick like he was trying to say something, and then another, mmm-hmmm, but he didn’t pull away to give his praises clearer enunciation. He just curled his fingers into Kurt’s buttocks and drew him deeper into his mouth until the head of Kurt’s erection was nestled tightly between Blaine's tongue and the top of his throat, and  then it was Kurt’s turn to mmm-mmm-mmmmmm and he was glad he didn't even have the choice to use words, because what words could he possibly use to describe how good this felt, to be here with Blaine in sacred privacy, giving and receiving pleasure?
Blaine was on his back and his legs fell open, revealing the dimpled closure between his buttocks. He moved rhythmically, tilting his pelvis in tiny thrusts to better move his cock in Kurt's mouth, spreading his legs wider, lifting them up, up, up so that his knees were behind Kurt now and his feet were above Kurt's head, barely in his peripheral vision. The dimpled closure became less closed, its wrinkles smoothing out slightly, and Kurt suspected that Blaine was putting a show on for him, that he was exposing this vulnerable place because he wanted Kurt inside it.
The first time Kurt had fingered Blaine, it had been at Blaine’s lead, Blaine moaning as he pressed his own finger against his hole and said, “Kurt, let me show you how I need you.” And he had done exactly that: shown Kurt—not just with his finger but also with the way his shoulders flushed and his bottom lip quivered and he let out a delighted gasp as his finger pushed in. He had let Kurt watch him touch himself in this most intimate way, and Kurt had felt so beautifully overwhelmed by how hot Blaine was and the privilege of seeing him spread out like this, giving himself over to desire without shame. And then he became even more overwhelmed with want and love and goodness as Blaine took Kurt’s hand and guided him into that lubricated heat.
In that private moment between them, in the sharing of their hallowed lust, something inside Kurt melted—some bitter, jagged piece of him full of fear and shame—and washed out of him, never to return.
Kurt didn't need Blaine to guide him now. Even with their scant opportunities for intimate encounters, he was starting to understand the intricacies of Blaine’s body language during sex. And he knew by the way Blaine was exposing himself what Blaine needed: He needed Kurt to stretch him open and make him feel things he hadn't, until Kurt, known his body was capable of feeling.
Kurt slicked his fingers and pressed against Blaine’s closure until it gave slightly, transforming from closure into opening, and then gave more, letting Kurt's fingertip sink slowly in by degrees, and Blaine sighed with pleasure, and he clenched around Kurt's finger and relaxed and clenched again, and as Kurt moved in further he was no longer the one pushing—no, Kurt was being pulled, being dragged hungrily into Blaine’s body by the muscular strength of Blaine’s desire.
Kurt slid in and out, in and out, sometimes gently and sometimes roughly, keeping time with Blaine’s mouth on his cock, letting Blaine set the pace of their explorations, until Blaine's moans grew more and more desperate, his mouth gasping around Kurt’s hardness, sucking frantically and then going lax, too distracted by the things Kurt was doing to his ass to concentrate with the single-minded focus he usually approached blowjobs with—but Kurt didn’t mind, because Blaine was so hot when he got like this, wanton and needy, lost in the pleasure Kurt was giving him.
Oh Kurt, I need, I need, I need Blaine cried, and he took Kurt back into his mouth, its heat tighter and wetter than Kurt had yet experienced, and then Blaine was bobbing frantically over Kurt’s shaft, his fingers digging into Kurt's thighs, his ass clenching, and everything was moving in perfect time, they were moving together, their thrusts and moans coaxing each other into higher and higher states of pleasure, and Blaine was so lost in it he didn't whisper a warning or try to pull Kurt off when he was about to come—and that was hot, too, that Kurt was learning to detect the signs on his own now, to detect the unique way that Blaine's cock swelled and his ass clenched and he whimpered, yes whimpered, out of desperation and hope and abject need—and Kurt gave even more to his lover, encouraging him to let his body do what it wanted, because Blaine’s body was beautifully and rightly made and its desires were good, so so good, so lovely, and Blaine was lovely, and he became somehow even lovelier as he arched against the bed and came with a muffled cry—so overwhelming in his loveliness that Kurt vaulted into an orgasm that he’d forgotten he’d even wanted, so lost he’d been in experiencing Blaine unfold.
Kurt rolled onto his side as his breath began to slow and placed his hand on Blaine's chest. “This is perfect,” he said. “I needed this.” It was like being back in their little apartment in Germany, when they could pretend they were the only two people in the world. They had five whole hours to themselves, and their phones were on silent—with only Cooper's number set as privileged, so that if for some reason he and his mother were to return earlier than planned, they would get plenty of warning. That wasn't likely, though. Kurt's mind boggled at all the things they still might do today.
“Me too.” Blaine kissed Kurt’s forehead. “And just think, we've only used up one hour.”
“Mmmm,” Kurt hummed happily. “What would you like to do with the other four?”
“I really, really want—" Blaine said, with a heat that should have been impossible so soon after their shared orgasms “—I really want you to fuck me.”
This particular desire of Blaine's was no surprise—even without the fingering, it was something they had talked about a number of times—but the immediacy and earnestness in Blaine’s voice sent a rush like intoxication through Kurt’s body. He wondered if this was what it felt like to drink champagne. Before Blaine, he had never expected another man to want him this way. But here Blaine was, after all those years of Kurt pushing down his own desires, shaming himself over them—here Blaine was, once more telling him, The things you long to give are good, and I long to receive them from you.
And oh, how Kurt wanted to give this. He had spent many, many hours upon returning from his mission remembering the blinking heat he had only gotten brief glances of in their Ingolstadt apartment, fantasizing about being inside it, about Blaine's body clenching around his shaft, about them fucking in fields and hot tubs and mussed-up sheets; and he’d only had The Joy of Gay Sex for two months, but already he’d lost count of how many times he’d come while looking at the pictures of men fucking each other in different positions and imagining that it was him inside Blaine.
Kurt wanted it. But he also loved to tease Blaine. “Don't you think we should save something for marriage?” he laughed.
Blaine didn't laugh. He looked at Kurt thoughtfully. “Are you afraid? That it's going to far? Or too fast?”
“Oh,” said Kurt. “Not at all. I mean, maybe it’s faster than I expected, but it has been a long, long year. If you’re ready, Blaine, then I am.”
Blaine smiled at Kurt softly and gave him a peck on the cheek. “You're so sweet. The sweetest boyfriend ever. But maybe you're right. Maybe we should wait for marriage. I mean, I don't regret anything we've done, and I want to do so many more things, but … Maybe there is something to saving part of yourself for the wedding night. I guess we don't have to throw out the baby with the bathwater.”
Kurt felt his heart sink. Why had he made that stupid joke? He had no idea when they would ever have the chance to get married. It might be years, and depending on the state they settled in, and maybe not even then.
“So,” Blaine said, sitting up against the headboard and pulling Kurt up with him by the hands, clutching them eagerly, his face lit up like he’d just walked out of a bowtie factory. “I think we should get married. Now.”
“This afternoon? Is it legal in Arizona?”
“I don't mean this afternoon, I just mean—”
“It's not legal in Ohio or California, either,” Kurt said, trying to be patient, but feeling the joy of their solitude begin to fray. The realities of the world were infringing on the space they had made for themselves.
“Cooper said it’s legal now in Arizona. But I just keep thinking … ever since we talked about driving to Salt Lake to visit the temple after Cooper goes back to L.A. … I keep thinking, if we were any other returned missionary couple that's totally crazy for each other and can't wait to begin a life together—I mean, a straight one—we would probably try to get married while we were there. That's what I keep thinking about. How I want to be married to you, now and not later. And obviously we can't get sealed in the temple, but it would still mean something to me to get married while we’re there.”
Kurt didn't know what to say. He was blindsided. He was giddy and confused and trying to follow the logic of everything, but also he didn't need to follow the logic, because something about it made so much sense. He squeezed Blaine’s hands.
“I mean, ideally, I want to have a wedding with our friends and family there, but it’s going to take time until that can happen. And I know our situation isn't perfect now, either, and there are a lot of things we need to figure out about our living situation and my family and school and the church and everything else, but that doesn't matter to me—because after spending a year apart from you, the one thing I don't need to figure out is that I love you and want to be with you no matter what, and I want to do that as your husband.” Blaine swallowed heavily, and his eyes were glowing with unshed tears but they were smiling, and his whole face was bright with joy, and he was looking at Kurt as if just getting to share the same space as him was an incomparable blessing. “So, what do you think, Kurt? Will you marry me?”
Kurt was breathing rapidly and there were tears streaming out of his eyes and he had not expected to get proposed to today, and if he had known it was coming he would have been able to come up with a hundred and three objections for why now was not the right time. But Blaine was looking at him so earnestly, and he was right—their lives were a complete mess, but waiting wasn't going to make them any less messy—or, in any case, there would always be enough mess to justify it not being the right time or the right place. But Kurt loved Blaine. And he knew, in his heart of hearts, that they belonged together and made each other better people, and that God had brought them into each other's lives for that very reason. And sure, Kurt could delay, but he didn't want to delay. He was, for all intents and purposes, already married to Blaine in his heart.
“Yes. Yes!” Kurt said, gasping and crying and so, so happy. “I will, as soon as you want. I’ll marry you.”

The Purrfect Crime
Summary: Kurt and Blaine were, as you say, “partners in crime”, but like, in the opposite sense… They were a long standing duo at the CIA. Headquarters knew they worked best when they worked together, so they just always did.
On their most recent mission however, their professional partnership is being tested as they go undercover as a married couple.

Notes: This work is a secret santa gift to @spaceorphan18! Merry Christmas!
First of all, I know this is a little late and I'm so sorry! I was struggling (to say the least) to get this done on time. As you can see, this is chapter one, because I just couldn't finish the whole thing and I didn't want you to wait any longer. I was so busy with work it's litereally not funny. I was pulling days from 7am til 9pm at some point. Then, when I started writing my first idea, I came to the realisation that I was including a very significant trope that was the oposit of what you had written on your wish list, so I had to start over... my own stupid mistake. Then, to make matters even worse, I spilled soda all over my laptop and it broke down completely. So I had to continue writing on my phone and ipad with a broken keyboard (I do NOT reccomend). I know, excuses excuses. I'm just bummed I didn't get it done on time. Also I now have to buy a new computer...
All that aside! I hope you like what I've got so far! I got really excited when I saw you wanted spies!klaine! A trope I absolutely love! Just note that I have never really written crack before, but I tried my best to make it fun add many silly elements! And I promise there are a lot more to come in the next part!!
Chapter: 1/?
Read on Ao3
They walked up to the gates of what could only be described as a palace (if America had those). The long and broad driveway behind the gates lead to a building so large and fancy looking, Blaine instinctively straightened his bowtie and readjusted his cufflinks. He knew he looked the part. Headquarters never sent out their agents in anything less than appropriate attire, but he couldn’t help it. He then glanced over at Kurt, who looked like he was a regular at this place, clad in a striking powder blue suit that perfectly brought out the colour of his eyes- no, Blaine, you are on a mission and he is your friend. He had to remind himself more and more frequently of the fact that they were partners in the professional sense only. No matter how gorgeous Kurt looked and how kind he was and how many flirty remarks he made at Blaine.
“Did you get any information on what we are actually attending?” Kurt asked.
“No, chief Sylvester only gave me the location and this invitation.” Blaine held up a piece of royal blue parchment with a broken red and gold wax seal. The text on it was written in golden ink and read:
“ Dear guest,
Recently I received some incredible news concerning someone close to me that has enriched my life. I would like to share this news with you. Therefore, I hereby invite you to attend a celebratory party to join me in my glee on the evening of the 22nd of may at my residence. I would love to share with you a grand revelation that not even I know the outcome of. All that I will say is that it will be an evening full of surprises.
Sincerely,
Hunter Clarington”
“What do you think it means?” Kurt asked as he took the paper from Blaine to inspect it further.
“I don’t know. But he is clearly up to something. Chief Sylvester said they got a hold of this invite right after they found suspicious signals and radiation coming from the address. They tracked all the vehicles going in and out of the vicinity. All transporting materials to build some sort of weapon… a powerful one.”
Kurt worried his bottom lip between his teeth and nodded, mulling over the information.
Blaine couldn't help but stare at Kurt's mouth as he licked his lips in thought. Blaine swallowed thickly and his breath hitched for a moment.
Kurt eyed him a little suspiciously. “Are you nervous?” he asked.
“Are you?” Great save, Blaine. Clever.
Kurt shrugged. “A little, I guess.”
Blaine didn’t actually expect that answer. “What? Why? You’re never nervous .”
“Well I just don’t really fit in at these kinds of events… ”
Blaine frowned at Kurt. “What makes you say that?”
“Everyone here is rich, Blaine. I don’t know any of these etiquettes and inside jokes. I’ll stick out like a sore thumb…”
“Kurt, you are a spy for the CIA You are literally trained to fit in anywhere. I’ve seen you act. You’re a natural! And your suit looks incredibly expensive.” Better than mine anyways…
Kurt smiled at the compliment. “Thank you. I tailored it myself, actually.”
“A secret agent with secret talents. Seriously, Kurt, what can’t you do?”
“It’s not “Kurt” tonight, Remember?”
“Right. Yes. Sorry, Mr. Ralph Murray, what can’t you do?” Blaine said to Kurt with a smile.
“Some secrets I don't dare share, not even with you, Mr. George Murray, darling. ” Kurt winked at Blaine.
And there it was; the reason Blaine was nervous in the first place. Tonight Kurt and he were Ralph and George Murray, husbands of five years, millionaires, and most importantly, on the guest list. It wouldn’t be a hard part to play; Kurt’s husband. Blaine had played that part often enough in his head. But Kurt didn’t know that, and Blaine would rather eat his bowtie than have Kurt finding out and Blaine making a fool out of himself. He just couldn't help but blush at the pet name Kurt gave him.
Then, a sharp noise pierced his ear. Blaine flinched. This damn earpiece! And then a voice, “Hey guys, I’m glad to hear you are getting into character, but you better get in there. We have no clue where the signal is coming from within that building. And we need to find it fast.
Right. Blaine thought. The stakes were high tonight. The nation was in danger and it was their job to secure its safety. “We best get in, then.”
“Oh before you do, I have hidden some gadgets for you in that bush over there on the left side of the gate.”
“Hold up. You have hidden our top secret, highly dangerous gadgets… in a bush?” Kurt said exasperatedly into his earpiece.
“I figured they would be easily accessible…”
“Yeah. To literally everyone , Sam,” Kurt hissed.
“Oh… yeah…”
“Look, Sam, just tell us what you got us,” Blaine said as he crouched next to the bush, pushing the branches aside to reveal a suitcase. He opened it and Sam continued, “Alright. There is of course your trusted grenade pen, anaesthetic darts-watch and bulletproof handkerchief, but I have also added a few of my newest inventions.”
To this, Kurt shot Blaine an apprehensive look. They were a little too familiar with Sam's “ inventions” to say they were always a raging success. They looked into the suitcase and saw, beside their usual gadgets, something that looked like a small beauty case, an umbrella and a pair of sunglasses. “What the…” Kurt whispered under his breath.
Blaine frowned. “Sam, the event is inside… how are we supposed to casually pull out an umbrella or sunglasses?”
“You're worried about the sunglasses? How do you reckon we are gonna be able to pull off using a, what is this, a lipstick ?” Kurt said as he held up a small golden tube.
“I- hadn’t really thought about that,” Sam confessed.
Kurt looked like a vein was about to pop in his forehead as he pinched the skin between his eyebrows and pursed his lips.
“What do they do, Sam?” Blaine offered.
“Right, so, the umbrella is not only completely waterproof, it is also fire resistant and creates a perfect shield once unfolded. The sunglasses have infrared night vision and the lipstick is my personal favourite. It releases a toxic fume if you press that button on the back there, but that won't affect you when you are wearing the lipstick as it neutralises the toxins as they come close to it, so when you inhale, you're totally safe,” Sam said proudly.
Blaine had to admit the inventions sounded pretty incredible had they been more practical. “Alright,” he sighed. “Thank you, Sam.”
Kurt side eyed him and Blaine offered a shrug in return.
“Well, we’d better get going, now. We’ll tune back in when we need you, Sam,” Kurt said and tapped on his earpiece once to hang up. Blaine followed. “Honestly, I can’t with him sometimes. I know you guys are friends, but he sure gets on my nerves.”
Maybe Sam didn't always have the best ideas, but he really wasn't bad at his job. Blaine thought. “He tries his best, though. And he is actually really great once you get to know him,”
Kurt shook his head. “You’re too kind for your own good,” he said, but there wasn't any actual judgement in his voice.
Blaine smiled and the blush he was sporting a minute ago returned faintly to his cheeks.
They walked through the gate towards a grand wooden front door in front of which a big woman was standing behind a podium with her arms crossed. "Names?" she said as she was eyeing them up and down suspiciously.
Blaine put on his most charming smile. “George and Ralph Murray,” he responded.
She looked at the register in front of her and her expression changed. “Ah! Splendid!" Welcome to the Clarington residence. All guests are expected in the ballroom for the welcome speech at 8:00 pm sharp. In the meantime there will be beverages and appetisers served in the grand foyer. Please enjoy your evening Mr. and Mr. Murray.”
“Thank you,” Kurt said and nodded to the woman. They walked past her as the doors opened.
“Ballroom? Really?” Blaine whispered at Kurt as they made their way up the steps leading to the front door. “What is this place? Versaille?”
Kurt sniggered and gave Blaine a pointed look. “Play the part now, Blaine,” he said as they stepped over the threshold.
They entered an incredible marble room with two grand staircases with golden railings on each side. Large pillars reached to the high ceiling on which, in the middle, hung an enormous crystal chandelier. Blaine’s mouth fell open and he heard Kurt release a low whistle. They quickly pulled themselves together as they were approached by a young handsome waiter. “Welcome, gentlemen. Can I offer you a drink? A glass of champagne perhaps? Cocktail?”
“I’ll have an old fashioned, thank you.” Kurt said with a confident, charming smile. See? Blaine knew Kurt had nothing to worry about. He was a natural. Blaine might have come from money, but Kurt just radiated class.
“For me a negroni, please. Let’s save the champagne for later after the great announcement, don't you think?” Blaine said with a wink.
The young man blushed. “Certainly, sir.”
“Say, do you happen to know anything about this speech?” Blaine asked him.
The waiter's eyes grew wide for a second. “I- I’m sorry sir, but it’s supposed to be a surprise.”
“Of course. I’m sorry,” Blaine gave the waiter an understanding smile. The young man bowed his head gratefully and dashed away to get their drinks.
Blaine leaned into Kurt’s side, “You reckon he didn't know? Or he didn’t want to say?” he asked.
“Not sure… Would you share your secrets with the waiting staff?”
“I don’t know. I never had waiting staff.”
“Hm.” Kurt gave him a considering look that lingered a bit too long. It made Blaine feel a little hot in the face.
“What?” he asked.
“Nothing.” Kurt shrugged. “I’m just trying to paint a picture of you.” When Blaine didn't respond immediately he added, “It's a good picture, don't worry.” There was something suggestive in the way Kurt spoke. Blaine looked at him as if to try figuring him out. Kurt was just good at playing his part. Blaine told himself. Though no one was looking at them at the moment so there was no direct reason for it.
“Let's ask around some more, shall we?” Kurt suggested, breaking the tension.
"Yeah. Good plan.”
The young waiter had returned with their drinks and they started moving through the crowd. They asked multiple people if they had any idea what they were doing here, but no one seemed to know or want to tell them anything.
“This is hopeless. We are wasting valuable time.” Blaine slumped against one of the pillars.
Kurt opened his mouth to respond but Blaine motioned for him to be quiet when he heard a woman speak; “See, I told you he was weird. Who hosts a party for their cat?”
They turned to look where the voice came from. A latina woman with long dark hair in a fitted, red, velvet dress was talking to another woman. This one with blond hair styled in a stylishly messy updo and a mint green dress.
“I would,” the blonde woman said solemnly. “And I have in the past.”
“Yeah, but that’s different. You’re cute about it.” The dark haired woman flirted and the blonde one gave her a quick kiss.
“Excuse me,” Blaine piped in.
The dark haired woman gave him a once over, clearly judging him.
“George Murray, pleasure to meet you.” He held out his hand and the woman took it with only slight reluctance. “This is my husband, Ralph Murray.” He gestured to Kurt who then also shook the woman’s hand. Blaine noticed that the look she gave him was a lot less disapproving. Though Blaine couldn't blame her when Kurt was wearing that suit.
“Santana Lopez,” the dark haired woman introduced herself. “This is Brittany Pierce.”
The men shook Brittany's hand as well. “I’m sorry, we just couldn’t help but overhear… Do you happen to know what this event is for?”
“I’ve only heard rumours,” Santana said.
“I see. Where did you get these rumours from?” Blaine asked.
Santana crossed her arms. “Well aren’t you the little detective. What's it to you, anyways?
“Just nosy.” Kurt’s smile turned a little more devious than polite, matching her energy.
“They say it’s his cat’s birthday, but that doesn’t explain the great announcement. Maybe his cat got nominated for an award.” Brittany said
Kurt and Blaine looked at each other in disbelief, and back at the women. “You can’t be serious,” Kurt said.
Santana crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow. “Deadly.”
“He can't be that passionate about a cat?”
“Wanna bet?” Santana challenged. “How do you think we know him?”
The men shrugged.
“We know him from cat shows.” Santana rolled her eyes. “Brittany’s cat, Lord Tubbington, often runs against his cat, Mr. Puss. So believe me when I say people are passionate about their cats. Anyways if you really wanna know, we heard it from Sebastian Smythe.”
“Who is that?”
“He is one of Hunter's closest friends .” She grinned as if to imply something.
“Do you think Hunter told him about his plans for the night?” Blaine asked, trying to hide the eagerness in his voice.
“I’m sure he did. I overheard them talking about half an hour ago. Something about ‘getting it ready in the basement.’ ” She shrugged.
Kurt and Blaine exchanged a meaningful look. “Do you know how we can get in there?” Kurt asked.
“I'm sure Sebastian has a keycard to the elevator. But hold up, why do you want to know so bad?”
“Never mind that. What does he look like; Sebastian?” Kurt asked.
Santana smirked. “Oh you can’t miss him.”
Brittany then took Santana's hand and whispered something in her ear. They giggled. “Look we’d love to stay and chat, but we, er, we gotta go.” Santana said before she was pulled away by Brittany. Santana managed to add a “good luck” as they disappeared into the crowd.
“What do we do now?” Blaine sighed. “We have no clue where to find this Sebastian character,”
“I wouldn’t be so sure about that,” Kurt said and pointed over Blaine’s shoulder.
Blaine turned to look, and there, in the middle of a group of people, stood a handsome man who was clearly the centre of attention. The people around him were laughing at his jokes and basically fawning over him. “You reckon that’s him?” Blaine asked.
“ Oh my god, Sebastian! You didn’t!” one of the guys closest to him laughed and flirtily touched the man’s arm.
Sebastian petted the guy’s hand and smirked. “You should hear what I did with his father,” he said and winked at the woman next to him. The people around him all laughed.
Blaine snorted. “Well that answers that,” he said.
“He looks incredibly obnoxious,” Kurt said and narrowed his eyes. “He is flirting with literally everyone in his little group.” He grimaced.
“Maybe we can use that to our advantage?” Blaine thought out loud. However he didn’t really feel like watching Kurt chat up another man. He would just have to do it himself. “I will go and talk to him!”
“Wait, maybe-” but before Kurt could protest, Blaine had stepped into the circle of people. Sebastian's eyes were immediately on him.
“Well hello handsome,” Sebastian said and extended his hand towards Blaine. “I don’t think we’ve met. You look like someone I wouldn’t easily forget.” He grinned.
Despite his better judgement, Blaine blushed. The man was handsome, alright. And definitely charismatic, judging by the effect he had on the people around him. “We haven't. My name is George Murray. Are you Sebastian Smythe?” Blaine asked as he shook the man’s hand.
“Matter of fact I am. To what do I owe this pleasure?”
“I was talking to some friends of mine and you sounded… interesting” Blaine smiled a what he hoped was a seductive smile.
Sebastian raised an eyebrow and turned away from Blaine for a second to make a dismissive gesture to his followers. “Could you give us a moment please?”
The small crowd looked annoyed, some even jealous, but they obeyed, leaving the two men to themselves. Sebastian turned back to Blaine “Interesting, hm?” he grinned.
Now that they were talking Blaine realised he didn’t actually have a solid plan. He couldn’t straight up ask Sebastian to give him the key. He would never just hand it over. Maybe Blaine could convince Sebastian to take him to the basement? But he needed Kurt with him. So he had to think of something else.
“They said you were close friends with the host,” Blaine said, trying to imply exactly whatever Santana was implying before. “I can see why he would like you,” he flirted. Apparently this was the right move, as Sebastian looked him up and down let his gaze rest on Blaine’s mouth.
Sebastian leaned in closer. “You’re cute, George Murray. How come I’ve never seen you before?”
“I- I’m usually very busy with eh- work. Don’t-“ Blaine swallowed. “Don’t often have time for parties.” Out of the corner of his eye Blaine noticed movement. He glanced over Sebastian's shoulder and saw that Kurt was miming something. “Back pocket!” He mouthed. What about his back pocket? Wait. Sebastian’s back pocket! The keycard was in sebastians back pocket!
Sebastian, who luckily didn’t seem to have noticed anything, spoke again, “Ah, so you're Mr. Professional, hm? Do you always obey the rules or are you capable of letting loose every once in a while?”
“Er, yeah sure,” Blaine said semi on auto pilot. How the hell was he supposed to get the key-card from Sebastian’s pocket? “What about you?” he asked. “Are you a rule breaker?”
“You could say that,” Sebastian quipped.
Blaine laughed. He needed to get very close and personal with this man but whilst he was doing so, he might as well find out some more information.
“I was wondering,” Blaine said and trailed his finger over Sebastian’s chest. “As you’re such a bad boy, would you mind telling me what tonight is all about?” Blaine looked up through his eyelashes.
Sebastian inhaled through his teeth. “Oh babe, I can’t tell you that. It’s supposed to be a surprise.”
“I thought you didn't play by the rules.”
“Why don’t you come upstairs with me where we can have a little more privacy and I can tell you all you want to know.” Sebastian said and slipped an arm around Blaine’s back.
This was his chance. He could take it now and Sebastian wouldn't notice. He just didn’t know how to get out of the situation once he made his move. Blaine looked over his shoulder in search of Kurt and found him looking at them. Blaine gave him a quick pleading look, hoping Kurt would understand. Here goes nothing. He put his hand on Sebastian's back and slid it down to rest over his butt. “Sounds amazing...” Blaine felt the card in Sebastian's pocket. “...but I forgot to mention…” He slid his fingers into the pocket over the card, trying to pull it off as a caress, and as he retreated his hand he pulled the card out. Got it. “...that I'm married.”
As if on cue, Kurt stepped in front of them. “Darling! There you are! I was looking for you.” He smiled a bit too sweetly at Blaine. “Who’s our new friend?” he asked and shot a murdering look at Sebastian.
“Woah, what the hell?” Sebastian took a step back, letting go of Blaine.
Blaine quickly slipped the key-card into his own pocket and stepped closer to Kurt. “Ralph, honey, this is Sebastian. He is a close friend of Hunter’s. Sebastian, this is my husband, Ralph Murray.”
“Husband? Wow,” Sebastian said. “Was not expecting that.”
Kurt held out his hand. “Pleasure,” he said through gritted teeth.
Sebastian took Kurt’s hand and shook it once.
Kurt turned to Blaine again. “Well it’s almost 8 o’clock. We should get going, darling.”
“Right.” Blaine nodded. “Maybe we can talk later?” he offered innocently to Sebastian as if nothing had happened. “It was very nice meeting you.”
“Sure was,” Sebastian said and winked at Blaine, clearly recovered from the initial shock. “I am looking forward to seeing you again, George.”
Kurt then pulled Blaine away by his hand through the crowd, leaving Sebastian behind.
“Thank you for saving me,” Blaine said once they had found a quiet corner.
“You didn't really seem like you needed saving,” Kurt said coldly.
“What do you mean? If you hadn’t shown up, I wouldn’t have been able to get away!”
“I mean, ” Kurt said. “It didn't seem like you had such a terrible time with him. I know you needed to get the card, but how are we supposed to come across as a happily married couple when you are feeling up all the other guests.” He crossed his arms defensively.
Blaine stared at Kurt for a second. Then it dawned on him. “Wait, Kurt, are you jealous?”
“No,” Kurt snapped.
“Oh my god, you are totally jealous.”
Kurt’s cheeks turned red. “Shut up, I'm trying to take this mission seriously. Did you at least get the key?”
Blaine couldn't help but grin as he presented it. “Got it right here.”
“Great. Let's go try it out before he finds out it’s missing. We need to get to the basement before it’s 8 o’clock.”

Thank you so much @bitbybitwrites for the tag!
So– I don't even know if I understand the rules of the game correctly. I have to describe my wips, right? Funny! Because they're not written anywhere, they're all in my ✨️ mind ✨️ so let's see if I can get some words down now:
A new found grace: (inspired by an Italian movie I love) escort!au I had already mentioned but the title is to be revised, I think. Basically, Kurt lives in the most unbridled luxury not knowing that it is all a farce. When he is left alone, he has to find a quick and fast way to pay back debts, not end up on the street, and above all, prevent his son from being taken away from him by social services. And the people he will meet are very different from what he had been used to.
The evening of miracles: since I fell in love with Blaine as an art history teacher as in my last fic, I thought of this fic in which Blaine, on a school trip in Rome with his students, makes an organized tour to the Vatican Museums and here they meet the art historian Kurt who will guide the kids through the museum, while Blaine will be guided to something much deeper. It's a bittersweet story, let's see what will come out of it. This is inspired by an Italian song (I swear I am not flexing being Italian 😭)
The Annapolis' librarian: this would be a challenge for me being a dystopian!au. It's an unspecified time, past or future I don't know. People don't speak anymore, they communicate with gestures and have almost completely lost the use of words. Except for a few. One day, a librarian arrives in town, and he will try to bring back to the community the importance of speech through reading, and for some, even the importance of love. Inspired by a book.
Tags: @shame-is-a-wasted-emotion @wowbright @kurtsascot @annepi-blog @special-bc-ur-part-of-it sorry if you have already been tagged and I am boring you :(
Of course, play only if you want to!

Ljubim te (15/24)
Notes: Ohohohohohohhh [rubs hands together] FINALLY.
AO3 | S&C
–
PUMP
Blaine is waiting at the airport. He stopped by the flower shop, so he’s holding a big bouquet of red roses. It’s utterly romantic, although Blaine doesn’t really feel romantic in the situation. How can he? He’s here to pick up his girlfriend after he kissed another guy.
Blaine and Quinn have been talking regularly again. Both act as if Blaine ghosting Quinn never happened, and that is fine by him. Right now, he can’t wait for things to go back to the way they used to be.
He also hasn’t spoken to Kurt ever since The Incident. When he first powered up his phone, he saw several missed calls and texts from Kurt, but those stopped as well after a while. It’s probably for the best.
Blaine also doesn’t have the time to think it through because Quinn, his fucking girlfriend, will be here any second.
“Blaine!”
Speaking of Quinn.
Blaine looks in the direction of the voice and there she is. Quinn. She looks like she’s from a movie, with her beautifully styled hair, her snazzy beret, black shining pumps and her matching dark red peacoat. Fuck, even her suitcase completes the look. She looks far too pretty for someone who’s spent hours in a plane.
Quinn is pretty. That’s what Blaine’s holding onto now. He’s always thought so.
She runs towards him and before Blaine can even say anything, she kisses him passionately.
Blaine is a bit shocked. He knows he should probably put his arms around her and hold her tight, but he’s thrown so off guard that his mind needs some time to catch up with what’s happening. They’re kissing and it’s… it’s fine. It’s just fine.
It’s always been just fine.
Quinn breaks away to take a breath.
“Here,” Blaine holds out the roses. They got smashed by the kiss. Blaine was holding the bouquet in front of him when Quinn basically jumped on him. “You look nice.”
Yes, yes, keep focusing on that.
“I’ve missed you,” Quinn says, “Oh, I am so glad to be here!”
“Shall we?” Blaine holds out his arm and Quinn hooks hers around it. Together they walk outside.
--
Quinn slept on the plane, but she’s still tired. She left around noon and now it’s evening.
“I remember you told me you skipped Monday when you first moved here,” Quinn says as she hangs her coat on the coatrack, “Now I get what you mean. This is weird.”
“Do you want a tour?”
“I’ve seen it all on screen, but yes, I’d love to see your apartment in the flesh!”
It isn’t much, but Blaine doesn’t know what else to say. Quinn is genuinely excited to see it, though, and it only makes Blaine feel worse. She’s so happy to be here. Blaine also should be happy to have her here. He has missed her, truly, and he had been looking forward to showing Quinn around, but after The Incident everything got weird.
Not only that, but the last person that was here in Blaine’s apartment was Kurt.
Quinn’s going through the fridge, since she’s hungry, and all Blaine can think of is the time Kurt stood in this same kitchen in his underwear.
No.
Nope.
Not now. He can’t think about that now, and about the weird feeling it gave Blaine.
They need to move away from the kitchen, which is hard since the kitchen, dining room and living room is all in one space. Blaine shows Quinn the nice bathroom next. That’s separate! And Blaine never saw Kurt in his bathroom, because that’d be weird and super invasive and totally not something he’d want.
“And last, the bedroom,” Blaine says.
“Oh, it’s gorgeous!” Quinn says and she falls face down on the bed, “So soft, just like you described.”
“Hah, yes,” Blaine says with a laugh, “Especially when it was still very cold here. Double duvets… oh the comfort!”
“We should buy a soft mattress like this for at home,” Quinn says, her voice muffled because she’s burying her face in a pillow, “Although it doesn’t get as cold in LA.”
“True.” Of course, yes, he has a home with Quinn in Los Angeles.
Quinn flips on her back and the two of them stare at each other for a long time, with Quinn lying in the bed and Blaine standing at its feet.
Quinn raises an eyebrow and she has an intense look on her face. She eyes Blaine appreciatively.
Right.
Huh.
Blaine should probably get in there as well. They haven’t seen each other two and a half months. It’s been a while.
Right.
Blaine awkwardly climbs on the bed and hovers over her. Quinn grabs his face and pulls him down for another passionate kiss. This time, Blaine saw it coming, so he kisses back. He deepens the kiss and he just so desperately wants her.
Or actually, he so desperately wants to want her.
But it’s awkward. Has it really been too long? Did Blaine just straight up forget how to be with Quinn? Quinn notices that he’s a bit lost, so she guides one of his hands to her breasts, but now it’s just lying there. Should he squeeze it? That’s what he did back then, back in Los Angeles, when things between them was easier. Before Kurt came in and messed it all up.
They’ve been dating for over a year. They live together. This isn’t new to him. He likes Quinn. He likes having sex with her, because it’s just something they do. They don’t do it often, since it is a touchy subject for Quinn, but it’s… fine. It’s all just fine. Maybe a bit bland, but fine. He doesn’t have to think about it. His mind usually goes on autopilot and it’s fun and it’s good and that is that. Sometimes he wonders if Quinn is bored during it, but it’s how it is.
But now he’s thinking about it. That’s new.
Quinn might be getting impatient, because she now guides his other hand down her stomach and all Blaine can think of is-
“No,” he says.
Quinn’s hands still and she stops kissing him.
“No?” she asks.
Blaine wants to apologise or come up with an excuse or a reason to go through with it, but he can’t. He… doesn’t want to. He tries to be interested, but he realises that he isn’t. What got him interested before? He can’t really remember in the moment. He never thought about it, but now that he does, he can’t remember.
Blaine rolls off him and Quinn flips on her side so that she can see him.
“I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be,” Quinn says kindly.
“It’s just- I can’t- It’s not you, it’s me, and I don’t…” he trails off.
“Shhh, it’s okay,” Quinn says soothingly and she gives Blaine a pat on his upper arm. That’s fine. “You don’t have to explain – or justify – saying no. A no is a no, and if you don’t want to tell me why, that is completely fine. And if you do, there’s no rush.”
“Quinn…”
How did he get so lucky? How is Quinn so understanding? Quinn’s all about giving people the space they need, and Blaine could cry from relief. He’s also still waiting for Quinn to bring up the fact that he ghosted her a few days prior, but she doesn’t.
“Can I still kiss you now?” she asks.
Blaine doesn’t love the idea, but he also isn’t opposed to it. He nods and Quinn plants a soft kiss on his lips before getting out of bed.
“I’m going to shower,” she says, “Maybe we can watch a movie afterward? I’d like to try the burek you keep talking about.”
Blaine props himself up on his elbows and he watches Quinn leave the room. She isn’t upset, and it’s honestly a relief. He also doesn’t think Quinn is faking this calm demeanour. She genuinely doesn’t mind not having sex, even though they haven’t seen each other.
Blaine also gets up and he walks towards the bathroom. He knocks.
“Quinn, I’m gonna go get that burek,” he says calmly. He is calm. Quinn being calm makes it easy to not feel bad. “It’s a twelve minute walk to Nobel, retour, and I still have to order and all that, so take your time.”
“Alright!’ Quinn yells from the bathroom.
“Pizza burek?” he asks.
“Sure. Can I pick the movie?”
“Definitely.” That means Legally Blonde, and Blaine does not mind at all.

an ask game for writers to procrastinate working on your WIP(s)
Thanks for tagging me @forabeatofadrum!
1. 🦈Tell us the name of your/ one of your WIP(s):
Breaking Stereotypes
2. 🍄Describe your WIP/one of your WIP(s) in the format of “___ + ___ =___”
Rockstar!Blaine + Vogue/FashionStudent!Kurt = Happy Kiwi :)
3. 🌍What tags or warnings will one of your WIP(s) need if you intend to share it?
Explicit Smut, Mentions of Past Bullying & Assault, Mentions of Past Character Death
4. 🧭An alternative title to one of your WIP(s)?
I actually had the name "Breaking Stereotypes" since I started writing, so there wasn't an alternative title for it.
5. ⚠️Which WIP your most likely to finish or update next?
"Breaking Stereotypes" is the only one I'm currently working on, and I'm about 6-ish chapters away from completing/publishing it.
6. 💾What is your document of your WIP/ a WIP called? (not the stories actual title but what you’ve saved it as)
unfortunately, "Breaking Stereotypes" is both the name of the file and the name of the story. I do also have an additional file called "Breaking Stereotypes Calendar of Events" which is a calendar made in Word that I fill out with chapter numbers and brief plot points of that chapter, so I can keep track of when & where things happen in the story. I also add when & where "offscreen" details that get mentioned in the story happen to the calendar as well. it makes keeping track of the timeline so much easier!!
7. 🖍Post Any sentence(s) from your WIP.
here is the very first sentence from the fic:
Blaine had just received a series of texts from his manager, Candice, stating that the car that was supposed to pick him up had broken down.
8. ♻️A scrapped idea for your current WIP.
there was only one thing that I distinctly remember removing from the story. I didn't even save it because it was that pointless. but basically an OC that is in the story for only a few seconds of one scene (so far), went off on a long tangent about why she didn't like something that Kurt designed for Blaine. but I realized it was so unnecessary because her story didn't add anything to the story. so I deleted all of that and she ended up just saying it wasn't her style.
9. 🤔What’s a story you’d love to write but haven’t even started yet?
I have a fic Doc for a story called "The Escape Plan" that has a prompt/summary that I want to write. but I haven't gotten around to writing anything else for it. basically, Kurt and Blaine have never met before. but Blaine is on a really bad blind date with someone at a restaurant, and Kurt & Rachel are sitting at a nearby table Live Tweeting the whole thing for their own entertainment. and Blaine notices what's happening and finds a way to ask them for help ditching his date :)
10. 🤡How many WIPS are you actively working on?
just one. I have too much trouble focusing when I split my attention between more than one. (not that I haven't tried it before. I'm just not good at it, lol).
11. 🛠Is there a scene or anything in the WIP you are struggling with right now?
I was struggling with the second half of this chapter that I just finished, but I think most of that was due to not having time to sit and focus while I write. but thankfully, I am done with that chapter now, so hopefully the writing will go a little smoother now.
12. ❤️Not a question, just a second Kudos to send.
Kudos back! 😘
I don't know who has been tagged or who wants to play, so if you see this and you want to play, then consider yourself tagged by me! :)

🌵 🛼 🍄 🏜️ !!!
Thank youuuuu!!
🌵 ⇢ share the link to a playlist you love
Guess I gotta share Anni's Cryptophasia playlist lol. But also if anyone wants to send me more asks please feel free to send this one again because there are so many random playlists I'd like to share lol.
🛼 ⇢ describe your latest wip with five emojis
🗼💇‍♀️🎸🐴🏮
🍄 ⇢ share a head canon for one of your favourite ships or pairings
Ummm...gonna go left field and share a blam (Sam/Blaine from Glee) headcanon since I feel slightly strange about calling RPF stuff headcanons in the same way, but:
Sam pretty much returns Blaine's crush as soon as he realises Blaine has a crush on him, but he doesn't figure out that's how he feels for a while because he's like 'Blaine is just my good bro, right?' and also doesn't realise bisexuality exists/that's a thing he can be. Then he opens up to Brittany about it (since, you know, he's dating her, and she is also bisexual) and she's like "yeah Sam you can like both" so Sam is like yay yippee I have a crush on Blaine but is still a little in denial about it since he's. You know. Still in a relationship. This is why he's so weirdly pushy about Blaine admitting his crush on Sam to him in Guilty Pleasures. Anyway angsty ending Sam doesn't tell Blaine before Blaine gets engaged to Kurt and now it's too awkward to come out to him since his discovery of his sexuality was BECAUSE of Blaine (and maybe emotional affair shenanigans happen in New York and they get together eventually). And that's what you missed on Glee!
🏜️ ⇢ what's your favourite type of comment to receive on your work?
Definitely like, detailed comments that point specific things they liked (and why) out. Also love when a comment is just someone going insane though.

wait...you don't seem to have reblogged the weird questions for writers ask game. but I wanna send some back :p
if you'd like, 13, 19, and 23 please!
I didn't reblog it but sure why not! 😊
13. What is a subject matter that is incredibly difficult for you write about? What is easy?
For some reason the words subject matter are really throwing me lol.
A difficult one would be anything I don't know much about or particularly enjoy like... Literally any sport lol. I suppose heavier topics too but tbh I wouldn't even really go near those - angst is not my wheelhouse and probably never will be.
Easy would be anything involving big queer friendship groups, and the found family vibe that usually comes with that.
19. Tell me a story about your writing journey. When did you start? Why did you start? Were there bumps along the way? Where are you now and where are you going?
I've written stories for myself basically as long as I've been able to hold a pen. I was that obnoxious child that insisted on putting on original plays for my parents and assorted guests. I was a gem.
As to writing Glee fanfic, I watched Glee during its original run and fell in love with Kurt and then even more in love with Blaine and got deeply invested in their story. I found myself nostalgically rewatching over lockdown with my boyfriend and he fell in love with them too so I ended up writing him some fanfiction. I loved writing it. He loved reading it. He encouraged me to post some of it. That was only about six months ago and I'm still going strong.
23. Describe the physical environment in which you write. Be as detailed as possible. Tell me what’s around you as you work. Paint me a picture.
I write exclusively on my phone so my writing environment is me sitting gremlin like hunched over my phone whenever I am static for more than five minutes. I've written porn on the train. I've written it at work. I can't be contained 😝

The Best is Intentional by Useless_Fanfictions
Kurt?” Blaine asks, hands hesitantly coming up around Kurt’s shoulders. He knows he’s safe here, in Blaine’s arms. He knows that anything that he feels will always be reciprocated.
“If you’re not ready…” Blaine leaves the question unfinished. Kurt realizes that Blaine has been reading his silence a little wrong.
“I am,” Kurt says into the curve of his boyfriend’s neck, leaving no time for Blaine to question him. “I am so in love with you."
Or, the one where Kurt and Blaine go to Blaine's house after the opening night of the West Side Story Musical and share their first time together. Kurt and Blaine's journey of their newfound intimacy and arousal. Reaction Fic to 3.05 "The First Time"
~~~~~
Now It Begins, Now We Start by @insightfulinsomniac
From “I want to go to your house” to the next morning when they’re eating cereal in their pajamas, Kurt and Blaine’s first ventures into intimacy culminate in a night of vulnerability, laughter, and a lot of blushing. But then they have to pack it all away and return to McKinley for their next performance of West Side Story — and Rachel sees right through them. Well, sees right through Blaine.
Filling in the blanks of Kurt and Blaine’s first time after Kurt’s “I want to go to your house” declaration. Lots of fluff and baby Klaine; sexual themes, but nothing graphic or explicit!
~~~~~
Yours by @wowbright
 638 words of Klaine intercrural, comeplay and fluff. Mention of anal but none actually takes place in this scene.
~~~~
The First Time by storybubble
Kurt and Blaine finally talk after the first performance of West Side Story and things continue from there on... My take on the evening (or the night) of their first time.
The Diary of Kurt E. Hummel (5/24)
The Diary of Kurt E. Hummel
This diary belongs to Kurt E. Hummel.
Please do not read this without my express permission. (Yes, that includes you, Finn.)
***
Have you always wanted to find out what Kurt writes in his diary? Now is your chance! But, ssssht! Don't tell Kurt we stole it... ;)
Read chapter 5 now, below the cut and also on AO3 and S&C!
Read from the beginning
UPDATE: Now also with art under the cut!
Oval
Dear Journal,
Today, I became a father.
Rachel had been having a lot of false alarms in the past week, so when I got the call, the news did not immediately sink in. We've had everything ready to go for weeks, of course, so I hung up with Jesse and called Blaine back from his traditional Saturday brunch date with Sam.
Oh god. I don't even have words to describe how nervous and excited we were.
Labour took fairly long, as was to be expected with a first time delivery, but Rachel was a goddess (even if my hand and ears will never be the same again).
She's just… She's perfect. The prettiest baby I've ever seen. Ten perfect little toes, and ten surprisingly strong little fingers, with two of the most gorgeous oval shaped eyes set in the most perfect little face.
She already seems to have inherited Blaine's wild curls, and I can only hope she'll get his beautiful hazel eye colour as well.
We've decided to name her Elizabeth Morgan Hummel-Anderson, or Ellie for short.
Elliot likes to tease that we named her after him, which I will deny till the day I die, but it does make me love the goof even more when I see how excited he is to meet his favourite niece and 'namesake'.
Thanks to the bet I lost with Blaine, he got to pick the middle name. I was worried he'd go for Leia or Lois, or something super geeky like Neytiri. Morgan is still a nerd reference, but at least it's a pretty one that I can live with. We certainly love her more than 3000.
Blaine is currently hogging Ellie, and they look so beautiful right now. He is softly singing her to sleep as they sway in the moonlight streaming through the nursery window.
I can't remember ever feeling as happy as I do now.
Best. Day. Ever.
~ Kurt
Thanks for reading! ♡♡♡
Thank you for the return ask- and I enjoyed reading people’s answers to the question, so will add mine now. Obviously it’s Blaine.
1) I always think of the first chat between Blaine and Kurt, and the insight to him then. It was obvious he’d also suffered at the hands of homophobes - prejudice and bullying, and the feeling that no one really cared. I think this shapes his personality, and if I write him, I always see him as someone who is willing to go out of his way to help those he loves and cares for, even if it’s hard for him. We see this with Kurt - especially in Prom Queen. That’s why I like to write and read fanfics that makes he’s caring nature apparent, as he’s never malicious or cruel to people.
2)One thing that fanon has changed a lot is Blaine’s actual abilities and ambition. I always remember the compliments he receives - Kurt describes his solos as breathtaking, Santana talk about his dream boat a Capella voice; Finn about his all round talent making him jealous and worried for his position; Sam talks of him as one of the good guys and charming, talented, clever and Tina about his all round brilliance (and perfect ass). When I write him he’s talented, high achieving, ambitious not some bumbling idiot who has to rely on Kurt to cook his meals and plan his day.
3) Fun. I like he’s fun to be around, he’s the piano maestro at parties, he’s the guy not afraid to join or lead any club, or openly serenade his boyfriend in a public place, or talk about the latest thing he’s read. I always like to make him fun when I write him.
Glad you enjoyed answering, those of you who did. I might expand sometime and write a Kurt, or Sam or Tina version!
NEW TAG GAME FOR MY FELLOW GLEEKS!
Put your playlist on shuffle and write down the first 10 songs that were NOT covered on Glee. Then, explain how you would incorporate each song into the show if they had covered it. If you want to, link the song so we can listen to it!
My Nemesis - Phineas & Ferb. Easy. Sue sings this about Will and their rivalry during a montage of her fucking with him.
hoax - Taylor Swift. This was the hardest one to answer. I can see Rachel singing this while in the anger stage of grieving Finn. The lyric “You know I left a part of me back in New York / You knew the hero died so what’s the movie for?” can totally be about Finn.
Get Used To It - Ricky Montgomery. Finn sings this in season 4 when he’s feeling lost and stuff. In high school he was popular and felt secure. But then once he entered the real world he realized he didn’t really know anything and felt lost. Perfectly describes him.
When I Grow Up - Matilda the Musical. ND would sing this when they graduate and it would make me fucking SOB.
(It’s) Hairspray - Hairspray. People are pissed at Kurt for spraying a shit ton of hairspray in the goddamn hallway and making everyone inhale it so he sings this in retaliation to celebrate his love of hairspray. It’s a huge fantasy number and all of the girls are dancing around him in 60s dresses.
Falsettoland / About Time - Falsettos. This song is so hyper specific and musical-y that I can only picture it in a context of them doing Falsettos for their school musical. In that case, I’m casting Blaine as Marvin, Kurt as Whizzer, Tina as Trina, Artie as Mendel, Santana as Charlotte, Rachel as Cordelia, and idk maybe Mike as Jason?
Still Clean - Soccer Mommy. Sam sings this about Mercedes in season post- summer fling because he’s hurt that she sorta ditched him for Shane. It totally fits the situation and Sam’s POV.
FUBT - HAIM. The only person I can picture singing this is Will about Terri (because yes, that relationship was abusive, and women can be abusers).
9 to 5 - Dolly Parton. The gang sings this in the second half of season 5 while they’re all hustling in New York.
Dig a Little Deeper - The Princess & the Frog. Mercedes sings this, and the rest of ND are the chorus. I feel like this is directed at Finn, with his daddy issues and wanting to be rich again after losing his power. In this case, the riches aren’t in money but in popularity.
