Bless the dog's heart...the two year old has been obsessed with feeding her as of late. Gwen waits patiently as each little fistful of food clanks into her dish. I'm trying to get the Little to pour the cup in, and she just says 'ok mommy' and resumes her little fistfuls. They're kept apart during the day because the dog's tail is a hard whip at her eye level, and she will shred any stuffed toy (which the toddler obviously has all over the floors). Seeing as the dog doesn't hang out with the toddler regularly, I'm even prouder of her constant patience whenever they are together. Sometimes, once Theo has fallen asleep I like to hold him just a little while longer. He is growing so much faster than his sister did, at least that's how it seems to me.
