It’s a good few weeks, and it feels like everyone’s back on track, settling into their lives again, figuring everything out one day at a time. Buck’s happy. He has his awesome girlfriend, his best friend seems finally more at ease, even if the divorce is adding some stress, and his other best friend is happier than ever with his mom around. Everything’s finally starting to go great.
And then it all gets disrupted again.

Etoiles!!! I forgot how much I love how you write him!!! He’s the best! He really does just speak like Miette all the time!
Oh and the Fitpac! These pining idiots. Everyone is on to them. They ain’tsubtile. I’m gonna love how this plays out because surely shit will hit the fan at some point and that will affect their relationship. (For the better, I hope.)
Also, I want Bagi’s coat! Am I correct in assuming that Tina did the embroidery? Or did she do it herself?
Lastly, back to the original writing. I think it’s just a case of learning how to draft things and take notes. Like if you’re stuck with a scene just write *get there* or a sort description of what is meant to happen and move on to the next thing, you can come back and fix it later. Or take notes between brackets and so on. Like word has a notes feature so if you forget something you can go back and mark the spot to show your future self where it needs to be added while editing. And the. You know where it is supposed to be while writing the rest of your draft. (I say this like I do it myself. I do not. The neurodivergent brain is a pain with a mind of its own.

oh my god wait I didn't even realize that myself he DOES speak like miette. I'm so glad you like how I write him lol I always feel like I'm struggling to make sure his dialogue feels right because he speaks in such a distinctive way
oh yeah fitpac is heavily pining rn they are crushing hard and everyone else around them is fully aware of it (and tubbo hates it lol)
yes tina did the embroidery!! I was planning to have a bit of a conversation later on in the fic where tina gets vaguely mentioned. she mends bagi's clothes for her :)
you see I fully agree that all those ideas with writing a draft where you just put in space fillers and come back to it later are great, but they don't exactly work for me. I need to write things out chronologically in order for it all to flow correctly. if I just put in a [write later] for a scene and then have to go back to it the entire thing feels disjointed to me. plus I've trained myself to try and get my writing near perfect on the first go, specifically so I don't have to go back and edit. but I'm finding that's a lot more difficult to do with original writing compared to fanfic so I'm trying to figure out how to make this work for myself. I'll figure it out though I know I will
