idk if this is a hot take but i dont get why some trans people act like certain surgeries were invented for trans people when they weren’t. phalloplasty was invented for cis men. double mastectomies and hysterectomies and breast implants were invented for cis women. HORMONES were invented for cis people. These aren’t inherently trans resources. This isn’t even meant to be one of those “oh cis people should experiment with hormones uwu” posts it’s literally just a fact that most things touted as “trans resources” were not initially invented for trans people and it’s kind of weird to treat them as such as if Barbara from IT is a transphobe for not wanting a uterus or whatever
