👂ianthe opinions ? 👀

i find her deeply compelling and fucked up and a very cool counterforce to harrow in HTN and i think about the "you are twenty two" "it's a universe away from eighteen" interaction on the fucking daily and the ianthe-harrow relationship lives in my heart and soul and i also think people on the internet are extremely callous about her and respond violently to even the SUGGESTION that her relationship w harrow may be predatory in any way. which is absurd coming from the "we love dark fiction we just want to explore DARK TOPICS you guys cant handle HORROR" crowd.

#like i think its a fascinating story and explores this kind of dynamic in a super skin crawling way that also leaves me like. feeling deeply #for both characters involved. like its wholly fucked up in a way that is rlly compelling #but the 'you guys are just snowflakes who want to CENSOR queer horror' crowd seems to hate engaging with her on the level of having done #literally anything wrong beyond womens wrongs memes and hashtag toxic yuri #which is generally why i stopped engaging with TLT fans. esp. because i think tasmuirs history as a writer encourages that attitude #and i want nothing to do with it! even if i still find the characters and ideas compelling #this is also why i havent picked up nona yet.

im so fucked. i wanted to get a lot done writing wise today but i have zero inspiration for it right now besides scenes that will be happening the future of the fic, like, way beyond the first chapter. 

why are the first chapters always the hardest

#i know why they are it just sucks #i just want to like bang this shit out and be like 'hey look at this' and then get to the second chapter where shit should be getting #interesting and have nona there full swing instead of the first chapter where shes not really there but she kinda sorta is #and then the band goes to another city to perform and they kinda sorta end up staying in that city #and then thing HINT at getting 'creepy' because of the building they keep practicing at #but nothing too wild happens #but then shit actually does get fucking wild in chapter 3 because thats when shit starts to hit the fan for some characters #but at the time itll be from alex's perspective and nothing is happening to her yet she just hears the tail end of creepy shit #and doesnt understand whats happening until certain things happen to nona and then happen to alex and the two of them are like 'waht the #fuck is happening in this place' and then chapter 4 will get really fucking intense with clarissa being the main focus of that chapter #which i havent figured it out completely but i know that it'll be fucking wild #and things just keep getting more and more intense until the final piece of why what is happening is happening is revealed #and then it turns into a 'do we do what was suggested or do something else' and ohhhh my god #if anyone is actually reading these tags and all the damn ideas/plot of the oxenband au then i applaud you #because im really excited about this and i hope that youre somewhat interested after reading the tags for this and seeing what is in store #for the au as a whole #also i have the ends for each of the characters planned out #and i feel safe typing this at the end of these tags but the we//ed beanies roadtrip au? #that shit is gonna pick up a few months after this oxenband au ends #so it's like not really a continuation of the band au but still holds their relationship and what theyve gone through in the band au and #puts that towards the whole roadtrip and the stress and everything involved in driving cross country #holy fuck these are a lot of tags but honestly i kind of hope someone reads them and at least sends me an ask or message being like 'yo i #read all of those tags you just typed out on that really inconsequential post you just made' #cause i would lose my shit #anyways #steph says stupid shit
