I watched the The Rookie Season 6 premiere!!

I started it last night and finished it this morning and just OAUGH it was so good :D

I expected them to not figure it out for a while but I low-key love the way they did it. Because it shows that they (the characters) aren't dumb and gives some action but still keeps a huge mystery to it. Theory wise, I keep thinking of the Dream (nightmare) Team (Elijah and Oscar) but it's been like a half season so I don't think it's time to bring them back yet. Idk tho, we'll see what happens!

Also Lucy is going through it xD like genuinely she is and :(( but everyone (even Wesley xD) knowing about the clown thing was just HILARIOUS lol

So excited for this season!! Especially the 100th episode, it's so great that they get one :D. I think both of those are gonna be really good and I'm just so looking forward to it :D!! An Artificial Night Re-Read: Part 5

Hello again! Here's part 5:

Chapter Seventeen:

How much must May showing up have felt like a slap in the face for Luidaeg? Especially after August was lost? Toby appears in her life, not just the future saviour of Faerie, not just Luidaeg's salvation in particular, but also the first friend that Luidaeg's had in decades, potentially centuries... and here's this physical proof that Toby's going to die before she does any of it, and the Luidaeg can't do anything about it. No wonder she was so angry about it.

I know Fetches wouldn't be able to compare notes, given that they, you know, tend to die pretty quickly, but can you imagine if they could ever compare the people they're Fetches of? The fact that they have Fetches in the first place puts them in the category of Makers of Unhinged Choices. I think that they would be a *fascinating* group of people to learn more about.

'[May] obviously didn't get my survival instincts when she inherited my memories. I would never have brushed the Luidaeg off like that, at least not if I wanted to keep my head attached to the rest of my body.' Toby, May *absolutely* inherited your survival instincts. You just came back from breaking into a Firstborn's lands to steal a bunch of kids from him! You have! No leg! To stand on!

Jessica's reaction to May being terror is completely understandable, but I do appreciate Andrew's reaction of just needing everyone to know who everyone else is or isn't in the situation.

I don't really think that May was looking forward to dying, but I do think that she had fun with the jokes.

Chapter Eighteen:

This book is making me more curious about what Sylvester and Luidaeg's relationship is like. I know that Luidaeg told Sylvester that Amandine was shifting Toby's blood so he'd intervene, but did they know each other before that? Did she know him because Amandine grew up with the Torquill twins, or did she know him during his hero days?

Was Sylvester expecting Luna to send Toby on the Rose Road? Was that the 'safer way' he thought she could use?

I forgot how *big* a deal it was that May showed up as a death omen, given that she's been around for 13 books and Toby, well, hasn't died, but nearly everyone who meets May is terrified when they see her for the first time.

Chapter Nineteen:

Toby picks up on spells by using mirrors quite a few times; I can't tell if it's a Thing, or if it's more like a useful trope.

I feel very sympathetic for May during this car chase. If I was ever going to get into a car chase, this is the kind of car chase it would be.

Poor Spike is NOT having a good trip.

So this is the third car in three books that Toby's totaled. I'm *pretty* sure that she's a lot nicer to cars from now on; now it takes several books to destroy her car.

Chapter Twenty:

Okay, so Toby straight up says that she saw Karen's ghost; I wouldn't have thought that ghosts were a Thing in Faerie, given how the night-haunts work. (I know I've already made this point before but I think this should be talked about more! What has Toby seen!)

May keeps saying that she's breaking the rules by helping Toby, but nothing really happens after she breaks them, even before her existence stopped being tied to Toby's. Are there actually rules about how Fetches are supposed to act, or are they self-imposed?

Chapter Twenty-One:

Honestly Raj handles himself pretty well in this fight; I'm not sure if that says more about Raj or Julie.

I'm not sure why Tybalt humors Julie's revenge 'quest' as much as he does? I can't imagine that Julie would be able to justify it in any court, given that the situation was 'your lover died doing something everyone involved knew was serious and didn't take seriously'. If Luidaeg couldn't claim offense for the slaughter of her children because it didn't happen directly to her, there's no way Julie should be able to argue this.

Aaahhhhhhh, Raj already likes Toby SO much. I wonder if Samson isn't just threatened by how Tybalt acts around Toby; he might also be threatened by how much his son respects her.

Toby and Tybalt talk a few times about Tybalt looking for answers. Was he trying to track down Amandine? I think we get confirmation of this in a later book, but I don't totally remember.

Chapter Twenty-Two:

Okay, Toby, you can't get mad at Marcia for recognizing and not recognizing you. I know you've had a long day, but that's still not very fair.

'"Once you arrive, events must play to their logical conclusions. I hope you don't mind my hating you."' I feel so bad for May this read through. She has memories of loving all of these people! She loves them to some extent too! And they all *hate* her because of what she represents.

You know, I've always been a little curious about what Lily and Luidaeg's relationship was like - and then Lily will sneak attack Toby to heal her and I'm not sure that Luidaeg would've considered them *friends*, but she must've liked Lily at least a little bit.

The Tidal Road is awesome and I'm sad that it hasn't come up again.

Chapter Twenty-Three:

'"Aw, fuck. You mean Lily wasn't being obscure to piss me off?"' I *love* the idea that typically obscure/cryptic characters like Luidaeg and Lily are sometimes that way to each other and it also irritates them.

I want Luidaeg's four poster canopy bad so baaaaaaadly.

There's something really heartbreaking about Luidaeg having to reassure Toby she's not a child killer.

That's it for now! On the one hand, I did not get these out faster like I was planning to. On the other hand, I only have ten chapters left! Hopefully I'll see you guys sooner and still manage to finish the book by Tuesday.

Damnit! I feel like I didn't get the relationship part of thia so I might make a headcannon some time in the future for this but

Mikey x Male!Goth!Reader

Introducing you to his brothers wasn't the most ideal to some people.

But my god did it make him fall even harder.

Michelangelo and his brothers, along with Casey and April were out on a full group patrol. It was a friday night and and they had no homework, so Leo thought it was a good way to practice teamwork.

Unfortunately with a large number of chaotic idiots gathered together, it became more of a 'hang out' than an actual 'patrol' much to Leo's headache.

And of course, they ran into some trouble.

To be honest, Mikey didn't know how he got there. All he knows is that he got separated and needed to yeet.

Seriously. Did you really expect him to pay attention?

"AAAHHHHHHH!!!!" The orange banded turtle screamed in terror as he ran down the streets of New York, a dozen footbots hot on his tail "THEY'RE AFTER MEEEEEEEEEEEE" He wailed.

"Mikey stop screaming! They'll hear us!" Donnie scolded.

Oh look! Donnie is here too.

"We need to hide!" Donatello grabbed his brother as they took a sharp turn around the corner down an alley. They hid behind a garbage can. Both of them were breathing heavily, exhausted from running.

Donnie tried to even his breathing and looked at his surroundings "Shoot. There's no manhole here." Donnie cursed in despair. "What are we gonna do?"

Mikey began to panic "Do I look like I know, dude?! I'm too young to die!" He gasped "And I still haven't eaten the pizza I've been saving for three weeks under the bed!" He whined.

Donnie gagged. He wondered how strong Mikey's stomach is.

Both brothers snapped out of their thoughts when they heard noises. Mikey knew him and Donnie aren't exactly the strongest, and with so much Footbots out there, it was seriously making him jittery.

He looked around for something--- anything to help them get out!!!

Wait a minute!

The orange banded turtle rubbed his eyes. That pole! He recognizes that pole anywhere!

Which means this place is...

"I know just what to do!"Mikey dug through his pockets to retrieve his phone.

"Mikey!" Donnie hissed switching back and forth between his brother and the entrance of the alley.

The phone rang once. Twice.

"Hello-"

"HEEEELLP!!!" Mikey shrieked into the device.

It took a second for the responder to react.

"I'm on my way." Then it clicked off.

Donatello took Mikey's phone "What did I tell you about screaming?!" The Footbots heard them and were now closing in. "Leo and the others probably have their hands full. We can't just call them for backup!" Donnie grabbed his bo staff.

The first bot that went for Mikey was taken down by his nunchucks. "But I didn't call Leo?" He barely managed to dodge an incoming kick. His muscles were still sore from all the running.

"Who could you possibly cal-Argh!" Donnie was thrown to the side. His bo staff flew out of his hands.

"Donnie!!" Mikey screamed in panic but he was surrounded by Footbots.

Donnie looked up. The enemy already had a sword up. It would be too late to move out of this. The purple banded turtle closed his eyes tight and hoped his shell would be hard enough to take the blow.

Then...

BANG!

What?

BANG!

Donatello heard the heavy robots hiting the ground and hesitantly opened one eye.

There, at the end of the alley, was a tall figure accompanied by the shadows. Behind him was a black panther harley-davidson softail breakout motorcycle. Donnie couldn't see his face from the helmet. But from way the streetlight reflected, Donnie could make out the several chains and belt buckle on the person's black ripped jeans that shone with the silver skull rings on his leather gloved fingers. A spiked black leather jacket, accompanied by an equally dark turtleneck shirt. And of course.

The smooth smoking barrel of a gun.

The other Footbots saw the intruder, and went in for the kill. The stranger picked up a pipe, and started brutally beating the living wires out of the Footbots.

Donnie took cover and cringed at the way the stranger stabbed a footbot through its head. Yikes.

Metal parts and bullets were flying everywhere! This guy was moving with impressive speed. He was mainly using the gun to block, while the pipe was used for offensive attacks. Most likely to save ammo.

Finally, the last Footbot went down without a head.

Donnie's breath hitched. He bagan to sweat excessively. It finally dawned that he and his little brother were alone with this dangerous person.

Oh no. This is bad. They need to get out of here now.

"M-Mikey..." Donnie stuttered "We need to ru-"

"Cupcake🖤~!" Mikey skipped and threw himself on the tall figure. Donnie watched, mortified and the way Mikey was churring and rubbing his cheek all over the guy's shirt.

The young turtle was blushing adorably with one foot in a curled up princess pose, as if he didn't just see such a fucked up display!

The stranger dropped his pipe and reached out for Mikey.

"MIKEY!" Donnie went in for his staff and ran towards his brother. Safety be dammed. That is his only little brother!

"Mikey, baby. Its good to see you safe." You said, voice muffled by the helmet.

Donnie fell face first on the ground.

"You came!" Mikey's eyes were sparkling, looking at you like the Knight in Dark armor that you are "My hero~!" Hearts were floating around him.

You chuckled and took off your helmet, showing off your hair dyed in black with bright orange highlights. Mikey was delighted to have your electrifying (e/c) eyes focused on him. You thoroughly searched for any injuries on your adorable mutant.

"Of course I'd come." Once you deemed him safe, you placed a kiss on his forehead. "Anything for you." Mikey squealed and fake fainted in your arms. "Are you hurt anywhere?"

"Actually.." Mikey frowned with his signature puppy dog eyes "I think I hurt my ankle." Now he wasn't particularly hurt, maybe tired but if there was a way for him to milk in your attention he was damn well going abuse his power.

You, his overly loving boyfriend of course caved in and picked him up bridal style. Mikey was quick to wrap his arms around your neck and pull you close.

Mikey giggled when you kissed his cheek.

The older brother, however, was looking back and forth between you and Mikey.

"What the f-" He breathed out "How the f-" He gestured at you "Who.. who are you?!"

You carefully adjusted Mikey on one arm then walked over to pull up the other turtle from the ground.

"Sorry about that." You looked him up and down "Purple and a bo staff, huh? You must be Donnie" Your snake bite piercings shone as your lips curled into a smooth smirk "I'm (Y/n). Mikey's--"

"Is everyone okay?" Leo was out of breath. The fight was finally over. They barely won against Dogpound and Fishface. They manage to bring in a lot more footbots than usual tonight, and he could feel his body close to giving out.

"Where's Donnie and Mikey?" April asked.

Raph spat out a tooth then gritted his teeth "This isn't good." He looked around "They ain't here!"

"Let's split up! We can find them if we scatter." Leo started to give orders "I know you're all exhausted but we need to find Mikey and Donnie first." His knees were starting starting buckle, but he couldn't rest now. Not without his brothers.

Raph's eyes went wide "Leo! Look out!"

Leo snapped his neck, he gasped. Behind him was Dogpound with his fist raised.

Dogpound sneered "This is the end turtle!"

Vroooom

"Wha--?" Dogpound whimpered in pain when a black motorcycle hit the straight in the face.

The large enemy was knocked unconscious, while the bike screeched to a halt.

"Hey guys~!!" Mikey waved. An orange helmet sat securely on his head.

"Mikey?!" Leo squinted his eyes. Sure enough, there they were. His younger brothers on a motorbike.

Donnie was the first to get down, he had a black helmet on "Are you guys okay?" He went to check up on the fallen Casey who insisted he wasn't.

"Are you guys okay?" Leo was wary of you walking up to them with Mikey clinging in your arms

"Guys! Guys guyzzz!!" Mikey waved frantically and overly excitedly, like a Maritez about to share the latest, juiciest gossip. "I want you to meet my boyfriend!" He adorably gestured at you with jazz hands. "Sugarbuns! Meet Leo, Raph, Casey and April!" He proudly pointed at them one by one.

You did a casual wave "Hi."

Leo's jaw dropped "You're... You're his what?!" He nearly choked. The two eldest brothers were immediately hostile. Looking you up and down. You quickly pulled out your pistol and shot one of the tubes that connected his tank to his gills.

"Arrghhh!!" Fishface screamed and grasped his gills.

"He has a gun!!!" April gasped.

You shrugged "This is America sweetie." You sent a wink her way. April blushed.

Mikey gave her the stink eye.

You gave Fishface a side glance "You have five seconds to get your sushi ass out of here before I accidentally miss and hit something I shouldn't."

It was getting harder to breathe with only one tube. Fishface had no choice but to retreat. "Who ever you are, I hope you know this won't be the last time we meet!" He will remember this and he will remember what you did to him the next time you meet. He casted you all one last glare before running away with his fishtail between his metal legs.

What should have been a terrifying scene only made Mikey's heart beat louder. The way your voice went deep and practically next to his ear, the way your hot breath on his neck sent shivers down his shell. You were just super cool and awesome it made the butterflies in his stomach flutter violently! You are totally like one of those anti-heroes in comics.

Mikey sighed dreamily.

Raph whistled "Okay... I kinda like this guy now." He said, impressed by the little performance, but still hostile "Also you're gonna have to let that numb-brain down." He gestured at Mikey.

As much as you would love to hold on to him for a while, you knew your boundaries and need to put in a good impression. So you let Mikey down, much to his disappointment.

Leo cleared his throat "I'm sorry, who are you again? I don't suppose 'Sugarbuns' is your real name." He asked. Mikey didn't exactly say what your name was.

"Please call me (Y/n)." You held out your hand "Nice to finally meet you, Leo. I heard so much about you."

He looked at your hand hesitantly. Just to avoid being rude, he ended up giving you a handshake "Y-You did?" Leo was awkward at first.

"What can I say? Mikey looks up to his brothers a lot." You offered your best smile "Said you're uptight, but you always manage to pull through." Mikey didn't exactly said those words but you assumed it by the way your mutant boyfriend talked about hai brothers. "I'd say you're a great role model."

The praise made Leo blush. Mikey looks up to him? You think he's a good role model?

"W-Well ehem!" He tried to bite down his embarrassment to save face and changed the topic "Look, I'm going to be blunt. We don't know you, but if you're really dating Mikey--" the said younger turtle was showing off your motorcycle to Raph, Donnie and Casey "--You're gonna have to come meet our father and ask for his blessing." He was firm this time.

Leo was all out for his brothers' happiness, but it doesn't change the fact that you literally appeared out of nowhere.

Although he was willing to give it a chance and look past your rebellious apperance. They were giant talking turtles after all! He doesn't really have a say in terms of "oddity". If Splinter approves of you, then he would be glad to support your relationship too.

You sighed in relief. You really thought you blew it. You were planning for a more formal meeting with Mikey's brothers, but you're glad they're willing to get to know you.

"Sure." You smiled "It would be a pleasure to meet Mikey's family."

"Aight, I'm gonna say it." Casey whispered as he watched you and Leo converse "Mikey, your mans fucking hot."

Mikey wouldn't stop glaring at Casey for the rest of the night.

2.) When will we see an episode surrounding baby HDL?????

Bro I hate being such a hopeless romantic. Ive known this person for only two years and I'm already freakin head over heels for them. Oh don’t talk to me about “hopeless romantism” dude. I always act like I don’t really care about love and don’t need a relationship to be happy (which is true) but whenever I have a crush on someone, on man, all Hell break loose, 100% hopeless romantic...Ok FIRST : there’s no such things like : “I don’t deserve them”. I know I’m probably the last person that should talk about this because I have some serious confidence issue and feel like I don’t deserve anyone, but it’s actually not true. Everyone has their own value, and no one NO ONE is better than the other, no matter how smarter or more beautiful they are ;-). So you definitely deserve that person. Then : I tend to be very straight forward with my crushes (only time I’m actually “straight” haha), and I used to be like “do they like me ? Do they not ? blahblahblah *overthinking too much*”...Until I discovered that it was way easier to admit my feelings and if they don’t feel the same ? Then I can move on, instead of wondering all my life if they like me or not, you know what I mean ? And if they feel the same...Wonderful ! Anyway I’m bad at giving advices but...I know where you’re coming from dude. So..Here.

AAAHHHHHHH I'm so glad to have my babeys back :D.

Now, given that I'm writing this part on the day of episode 3 and I haven't watched episode 2 yet lol, this will be very short. I might come back and edit later xD.

BUDDIEEEE!!! I'm telling you they're a family. Why are they such a family? I don't know. Anyway poor Chris 😭😭💔❤️. That scene at the end, with the letter, was so good <33. And oh my gosh don't even TALK to me about Buck talking to Christopher and then it planning to Eddie in the hall 😭😭. I was not okay over that and I'm still not <3. Also, a callback to Eddie's panic attacks by having him use a strategy to help that woman was so cool :'DD. He slayed <33. Also the joke after?? They're so in love, your honor <33.

Hen! Don't remember much of what she was up to but she slayed :)). And she's doing great as Captain 🥰🥰! Also her not feeding into Athena's delusions xD (although we of course find out that they aren't but yk it's just a funny moment lol).

Chimney and Maddie! Chim stressing was a mood lol xd. And honestly, making sure you make time for yourselves amongst your jobs, child, and wedding planning is a good idea! But don't try that hard lol. Like y'all figured out, you don't need to :). But yeah, I'm glad they just decided to relax <3. Love them 🥰🥰.

Bobby and Athena! I be slightly concerned for them o.o. I'm sure everything'll be fine in the end relationship wise, but it's stressful xd. And poor Bobby 😭. I promise it's not something you've done Bobby xd. Anyway, SLAY on the investigating though lol :D. And even though I feel for him I'm glad Bobby set aside their issues and had his priorities straight lol xD. Anyway, hopefully all goes well with those pirates 😬.

Overall, I really enjoyed this episode! It's so good to be back :D. I think the cruise ship is a really unique disaster - as are the issues with Bobby and Athena's relationship lol. By that I just mean, it's interesting/nice (even though it hurts) to see some struggles for them (that aren't external) :). There were also really great moments with everybody else, and I'm glad we got to see home ans the ship! Plus, there was a good spread of focus today :). Anyway, I'm a little nervous about the next episode, but I'm sure everything will be alright. It better be lol. Also, the calls were really cool today :O.

So, yeah! I loved this episode, I thought it was great :D. It was lovely seeing my babeys again :). I'm so excited for the next episode! This has been my review of. . .
