One of my favourite Marvel villains is The Grim Reaper! I always loved the Avengers and most especially when this character showed up, always having problems with his brother Wonder Man & his connections to the Original Human Torch & The Vision! All great stories & they sure don't make'em like that anymore!

Why do I love him: he hears to listen, he has patience with ignorance. The values he has make him honorable. He leads never follows. (Dancing to his own tune.) I love his smile and his eyes. Ummmmm...have I ever said this?

Honestly, I never paid attention to Tamatoa (Moana) and idk, now that I pay attention to him I realized that I missed how good of an antagonist was he, and his theme song?! Far better than anything in the movie (even if I don't like how modern Disney/Pixar movies are nearly a musical).

Like not sure why I'm attracted to bitter, gregariously dark characters, I just know that those are my favorite types and Tamatoa just expresses those characteristics perfectly, also, his humour is on point, not to mention he's balls-to-the-walls insane and he's a pretty dark character too and for a tiny snippet of the movie when he just casually mentions that he just ate his grandma(grandparents in the books) like nothing! Huh... They don't make'em like that anymore...

Also, his design... I mean, look at him

A crab but gigantic, also, S H I N Y but that's all for the best and the aesthetic of destroying the ones who have humiliated you for the longest time, gotta love a spiteful king 😔👊

He's so beautifully ugly, I cannot even begin to describe how I feel about his design, his face is wack but his gold slaps, I mean look at this ugly ass mofo

Those, teeth, ugh for the love of god, you are a demi god I know damn well you can fix them! But they are perfect for intimidating your enemies.

And that's not all! He's a gift that keeps on giving, he glows too!

Those stripes and patterns make him look quite enthicing and beautiful, and I think he already did his commitment there!

TL;DR: Tamatoa is both gold and atrocious inside and outside.
