Spouse: i'm gonna add meat to the sauce for sloppy joes.
Me: no! It might get too soupy! You need to add sauce to the meat.
Spouse: what, why?
Roomie: i've done that... made soup before...
Me: have you heard the aesop fable about the crow and the water pitcher?
Spouse: ...no?
Me: so there's this crow, yeah? And he's r-

Sometimes songs remind me of better days. Listened to two today that reminded me of folk I used to write with back when I had TF2 RP blogs.
@inkyshark ‘s Sniper with Billy Idol’s Dancing With Myself where he was teaching my uncoordinated Sniper how to dance.
@theubersheep ’s Spy with Bobby Darin’s Mack The Knife and how my Demoman *loved* to make him flush.
Miss you two nerds.

Colour meme: Coral, violet, and indigo?
Coral: Favourite book?- The Neverending Story! It is so much better than the movie (in different ways) so if you’ve just seen the film 1. don’t judge the book on that and 2. please read it if you get the chance. I’m a sucker for fairytales and all those entail  and this book is an extended, beautiful woven story with all I love about fairytales in it. All the characters are so great too like dear god... I could talk and talk about all these fantasy races for hours.
Violet: Favourite song?Siberian Breaks (Ed Banger AllStars remix) by MGMT
Indigo: Favourite smell?- I love the smell of the insides of freezers (which smells exactly like clay slip too?). It smells fresh n invigorating.

You made it past the exam! WOOOOT! Get some rest and go get yourself a treat for making it through. And a nap. There is always time for a nap.

Buddy, everyone feels like that after an exam. Well, some people. Maybe most. Point is, the exam is done and regardless of outcomes you are capable of doing whatever you want with your life. :D
gggg thank you so much!! i ended up going for a walk and clearing my head (sorry for ignoring your advice of taking a nap wHOOPS;;) but yeah, i feel a lot, lot better now
and sheepers, i don’t think it counts as a treat, but i ended up getting myself this chia, vanilla bean and coconut pot. it was probably the most oddly textured thing i’ve ever eaten, but still pretty good!!
again, i really can’t thank you all enough

This is absolutely silly, but today’s highlight was finding raw honey at the farmer’s market. The bee handler/farmer I really like hadn’t been there for like 2 or 3 years, so when I saw his raw honey on the counter I got irrationally happy.
That's not silly at all! It's so hard to find good honey in stores, so I can understand the joy! Plus seeing a vendor that you liked after a couple of years is always nice. Where I used to live there was a guy who sold predatory bugs and other things that would help your garden grow and I haven't seen his booth for years, I'd be so excited if I ever saw that booth again.
