Black Friday: Thank you Capitalism!
Black Friday, is considered the biggest shopping day of the year that takes place after Thanksgiving (Thanksgiving day is held on the fourth Thursday of November). So Black Friday will fall around 23–29 November. However, while people see this as a one-of-a-kind opportunity to shop, anti-Capitalists say it’s pitiful for consumers to try to squeeze and jostle to wait for the bourgeoisie. Spread mercy on Black Friday. While people take this opportunity to delight in buying the things they want, many people choose to stand outside, thinking they are wise and pouting their lips to criticize others for only “rejoicing in fake happiness.” .
Many people often criticize Black Friday
It is a fact that those who are fighting against Capitalism are still using the fruits of capital every day. They wake up every morning to their capitalist alarm clock; then they sanitize themselves with the products of capital; then they order a pizza delivered in 15 minutes from a capitalist; they don’t want to go to work to receive a monthly subsidy from the tax money of the capitalists, and then turn to thank the government. Perhaps, they don’t realize that the government has no money, but is just taking the achievements of the more excellent individuals in society, to divide it up to those who can’t do anything.
Many of us are taught to hate capital from an early age, even though we had no concept of it at the time. That’s why that hatred keeps growing with us day by day. But in reality we all love Capitalism. We hate a big government that wants to control people’s lives all the time.
However, most people who hate capital misunderstand that Capitalism only protects the interests of the bourgeoisie. But not. Capitalism promotes freedom for all members of society, where everyone has the freedom to choose and follow their own dreams, without interference from the government.
In Capitalism and Freedom, Milton Friedman writes: “Government has three main functions. It has to perform defense duties for the country. It must ensure enforcement of commitments between individuals. It must protect people from crimes against themselves or their property. When government — with good intentions — tries to regulate the economy, establish ethical standards, or help interest groups, it leads to inefficiencies, lack of motivation, and loss of self-confidence. do. The government should be an arbiter, not an enthusiastic participant.”
In addition, Adam Smith also famously said that “The precondition for bringing a nation from the lowest degree of barbarism to the highest prosperity is nothing but peace, moderate taxation, and a government that respects justice: all the rest is brought about by the natural course of things”.
More than any other argument, Capitalism aims at the highest degree of freedom for all people.
We need to thank Capitalism
Are you using an iPhone? Android phone? Or Macbook? Windows operating system computer?
Do you read books on Kindle? Watch TV on Netflix? Listen to music on Spotify? Watch videos on YouTube?
Do you shop on Amazon? Lazada? Tiki?
Do you search everything on Google? Send mail using Gmail? Stored on Drive? Find your way using Google Map?
Do you call by Grab? Uber? Go Viet?
Do you book with Airbnb? Do you search for hotels using Trivago?
Or are you simply using social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin?
You may not have used all of the above, but we all have to admit that we love them. Where do you think these come from? From businesses with bold ideas, of course, and a free market that allows those ideas to be realized. In other words, it is from Capitalism.
If you are reading this article, you are using one of the products of Capitalism. You are also enjoying the fruits of capital.
So why do you hate capital?
Are you a Vietnamese who went through a period of poverty in the late 1970s and 1980s? You fear that poverty until the planned economy ends, and a more open business market takes its place. More than any other policy, Capitalism has proven itself to be the most effective means of poverty alleviation in human history. But instead of thanking Capitalism, you’re thanking the government that took our jobs.
Black Friday is the fruit of Capitalism
It can be said that Black Friday represents what made America great — Capitalism and relentless innovation. Americans work hard because they love making money and want things to get better. People born and raised in a free system, will always be willing to spend money to buy advanced products to serve their own needs; on the contrary, people born in a society that lose their freedom and poverty, the more they tend to hate the success of others and always want to steal the achievements that do not belong to them.
Marxists often argue that people have been led into a false sense of buying and owning, and criticize petty materialistic habits. But they do not see that it is through competition, thanks to days like Black Friday that people with limited finances can own the necessary items for themselves. They do not see how CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities have contributed to a better society.
When businesses compete, consumers always benefit. Why try to kill that competition? Why do you hate Black Friday? Why not enjoy the holiday shopping to serve your needs, or simply buy some gifts to bring joy to your loved ones?
It’s ridiculous for someone to think Capitalism is cruel for selling a TV for less than half the price on Black Friday. Most Marxists think they know what is best for everyone. They think Black Friday is just a trick of the capitalists, “You don’t need that TV, you don’t need a new pair of shoes this day. The capitalists are deceiving you.” To these people, I just want to say to them, “Go away, you hypocrite!”. Who do they think they are to give themselves the right to judge what others need and don’t need? We are all born with a mind that evaluates our own decisions and is free to choose.
As Ronald Reagan once asked, “If none of us can solve our own problems, how can anyone be able to solve other people’s problems?”. So, don’t judge other people’s decisions, don’t give yourself the right to decide other people’s problems just because you think your brain is smarter than others. You don’t have that right. And do they need a TV? Let them answer for themselves. Do not use the ideology of one group of people to take away the freedom of the rest.

2. How modern marketing was born? pt.2
In the 60's people started to rival against this kind of manipulation.
"There is a policemen in all our heads and he must be destroyed"
Was a phrase that they used in their protests. They physically attracted companies that made automatic weapons as well as the ones who manipulated human minds with marketing. "I want to live a life that isn't based on materialistic values and yet the whole system of government and the economy of America is based on profit, on personal greed and selfishness so that in order to be human in order to love each other and to be equal with each other and not place each other in roles, we have to destroy the kind of government that keeps us asserting our positive values of life."
Tumblr media
Figura 1, Oil on canvas 40x50cm, 2017, ELEANOR MCCAUGHEY worn from an exibition called "There is a policemen in all our heads and he must be destroyed".
This was no success because the government released the police and national guards to stop the protesters. Because they couldn't fight the state, they decided to take a different approach. Instead of killing the policemen in the head, they wanted to get inside the mind and remove it. Start with yourself. And so the personal became political. Without changing the personal, you didn't stand a chance to win the political.
This notion nowadays also is very obvious, in my opinion. We still live in an age where the biggest change that you can make is within yourself.
They turned to the ideas of Wilhelm Reich. He was dead by then. "Esalen Institute", that was dominated by Fritz Perls, helped people to take ownership of who you are and how you act and feel. Creating ways to express themselves. Own your freedom.
Tumblr media
They were very successful and more and more people wanted to join and do these one-weekend transformational trips. The Esalen Institute worked on social issues as well like racism. This was such a hard topic that they doidn't succseed. They even turned to nuns that acsepted this experiment trying to appear modern. After the experiment 300 nuns (more than a half of convent) broke their wows. Six months later, the convent closed the doors. All that was left was small group of nuns that were radical lesbian nuns.
In the late 60s people were very focused on searching for themselves and it had an impact on the economy. Example: students stopped buying life insurance after University because that's something a person who plans for the future does. If you live in the moment, you don't need it. That's where the
This product expresses me and who I am as an individual
was born. Before that, everything was the same for everyone. So the advertisers wanted to make new focus groups but the new expressive individualists didn't take part in them. Also, making expressive things meant making variety of them and American mass production didn't work like that. Earhart figured out a way to help people become themselves in mass groups. And do they peeled off layer after layer until they came to a recognition that everything's meaningless and that gives huge freedom because you can only create something from nothing. Be what you want to be. Earhart said that only one self matters and not the society. And so a new culture was born. The idea that people can be happy within themselves and changing the society was pointless. In 10 years from 70s to 80s this idea of having to start with yourself spread across the America. Stanford research institute of California helped the capitalism (organisations and companies) to get inside the peoples heads and give them what they want - self expression. They designed a long questionnaire that was meant to help put people in categories. People LOVED it and they had a lot of data. Now the institute made several categories for people to fit into and that gave companies a way to market their products.
Selling a lifestyle
Tumblr media
Then this took a turn as in 1980 Ronald Reagan ran for president and was convinced by his advisors that taking in consideration the individualist groups was the way to win the election. He picked a speach that was called "let the people rule". A part from the speach "and I envision leadership in taking government off your backs and turning you loose."
Tumblr media
This was very radical, the press and everyone else was very sceptic except for the individual people. At first some scientist didn't believe that this could work because the individualist didn't care for the government and would never vote Republican or right, but Reagans team believed it would work. And it did. That showed the power of this approach - social class, age and other democratics were not nearly as important as these new categories.
Ronald Reagan was the president who ultimately made denial of compassion respectable all because of this individualist thinking. Now caring about those in need and only about yourself. "You've worked hard for your money! You shouldn't have to feel guilty about refusing to throw it away on people who chose to be homeless and choose not to work" he said it in a way that doesn't sound harsh.
They now used focus groups for exploring the thoughts and feelings of people to invent new ranges of products, witch would allow those groups to express what they believed was their individuality. Also computers were starting to work so making small amounts of products was no longer a problem and mass production disappeared. Now there isn't a market that can fill the needs of people and there are no more definite needs.
Now there is a market based on self expression that has infinite needs in infinitely different ways.
The 4 Consumer Types where defined and are still being used today.
Mainstreamers – They seek security
Aspirers – They are chasing status
The Succeeder – They value control, they are captains of their own destiny
The Explorer – They seek experiences, risks and discovery
To learn more about this, visit this site.
Matthew Freud started to glamourase celebraties and using them es leavers of marketing in journalism. He said where you have to mention the product, how you have to talk about it, how big it should be in the pictures and the celebrities had no choice. In TV: they would put on sexy shows before serious programs that the elite thought people should watch.
Tumblr media
In this magazine page you can see the celebrity advertising Pizza Hut in many different ways. Nowadays this would be too much and this person wouldn't be taken seriously.
When Bill Clinton was presented, he couldn't do what he had promised the public before which is cutting off their taxes and not giving anything to the pore (similar to R. Reagen). So he turned to Dick Moriss - one of the most ruthless American political strategists.
Tumblr media
The only way to get people back was to forget the ideology and treat politics as consumer, business
"politics need to be as responsive to the whims and needs of the market place as business is. And it needs to be as sensitive to the bottom line which is profiting (or in this case Votes) as business is. Instead of treating them as targets, you treat them as owners, instead of treating them as something that you can manipulate, you treat them as something you need to learn about. You need to learn what they want and move yourself to accommodate it."
\Dick Moriss\
So they collected more data just like marketing did with questionnaires. Asking about personal feelings and little things and almost nothing about politics. Clinton took up hobbies that his voters had. Like hunting and other.
All to get re-elected. It was very successful. Clinton's people called to suburban voters about specific questions on his policies and asked their opinion. And they used it to shape the policies. He ended the welfare system.
Tumblr media
All to get re-elected. It was very successful. Clinton's people called to suburban voters about specific questions on his policies and asked their opinion. And they used it to shape the policies. He ended the welfare system.
In conclution, Edward Bernays privately didn't believe that a true democracy can be possible. He thought that humans were not to be trusted. This notion mostly came from his uncle. He thought that the masses should never have the full control of their lives and
Consumerism is the way to give the illusion of control while allowing the elite to manage the society.
This quote I found in the comment section under the last part of these series. I think it sums up what we all are thinking about this in modern terms:
Social media today is basically a 24/7 focus group about everything, all the time. A well oiled machine that not only identifies people's thoughts and feelings towards everything, but creates and manages their thoughts and feelings about everything as well. I think we've lost, folks.

Truth be told, the existence and frequency of crimes being committed aren’t as mind boggling as I tend to express. The true riddle lies in what type of reward executors of the worst infractions could possibly be dedicating their lives, our lives, towards getting. With obvious and typical financial benefits aside (and threats of murder for noncompliance) there isn’t much room left to imagine other motivations.
What surprises me, I suppose, is that hundreds in power appear to not care what consequences will befall their own families, as a result of being connected to those who participated directly in the destruction and deceptions.
Especially when the hooves of their high and mighty stallions of “justice” are heard thundering across the broad quilt of our faces, each and every day.
In a world chock full of indignant “do-gooders” and exploited child spokespeople who are trained and rewarded to parrot those who hate us with every fiber of their being.
In the future (if there’s one left to be reached) the progeny of today’s criminals will more than likely suffer much of the same humiliations that current descendants of infamous figures have to endure.
I don’t see this habit changing much in the next few generations. As a matter of fact, with average IQs dropping as they are, we’re on a return trip towards average mindsets ruled by dark aged suspicions and fears; still throwing salt over our shoulders and ogling others for traces of  “bad joo joo” from the carriers of such deep-rooted corruption. What an unfair and heavy burden for any human being to carry. When they’ve struggled to build reputations amongst their clans and colleagues..only to be dashed on the grounds of historical evidence and assumptions of genetic tyrannical “cooties”.
Revenge. Disgust. Repulsion. Avoidance. These are the “gifts” those who knowingly destroy vital evidences leave their children. Lifetimes of opportunities dashed for the sake of single lifetime of kicks and privilege great grandpas Bush or Obama couldn’t shake and jollies which great-grand hyenas Clinton and Pelosi refused to drop from their sharp and dentured jaws.
From mortified sons and daughters, related to formerly esteemed editors of magazine dynasties to the innocent grandchild of a doctor forced to answer for tens of thousands of mothers bullied into the forced sterility and insanity. Be it by trial or the final and depressed contemplation of suicide. They will all suffer from this lack of foresight that all, who could have helped us, seem to be struck with.
The following is what I have determined are truths which will eventually drop into the light-with the aid of collectively restored mental functioning. I mention restoration because the ability to “think right” must be restored; or else we’ll never understand nor see the obvious things which we sadly struggle to see now. The things which are killing and sickening  us.
And will continue to kill and sicken us.
The following is a sampling of damages and the “odd and unexplained events” sure to be studied -along with other ongoing “trivial “ and serious offenses that I neither have the time nor the heart to address.

Mercury, admitted by even the World Heath Organization https://www.who.int/ipcs/assessment/public_health/mercury/en/ as being extremely dangerous, being injected into millions of human beings and infants.
Their echoed assurance of Ethyl mercury being “quite different” from mercury; exposed as a lie thanks to scientific testimonials, including a 2017 report which specifically confirmed the two act in identical ways as far as damages are concerned, with differences being in the time of shelf life and residual tracing.
(Needless to say, this has been the worst and most publicized abuse)

Tumblr media
The following are a few laws and instructions that can, at wretched least, be easily tied to the aforementioned insults and abuses. (Something that may have been worth investigating if we would have had enough human beings in positions of influence, strong enough and fearless enough to have put millions of children’s lives in front of their own narrow interests.)

Which leads us to one parallel factor that is commonly shared by the majority of this worlds’ leaders. And which should evaporate any arguments which begin with idiotic “Bi-partisan” huffing and puffing. ..Ronald Reagan, as both governor and president, frequently referred to the tradition, whether as a moral principle or a reason for specific policies on issues such as abortion. John Kasich, then the governor of Ohio, wanted to set up a new agency to promote Judeo-Christian values. Mitt Romney saw it as “central to America’s rise in global leadership.” President Barack Obama invoked it to eulogize Shimon Peres. Then-candidate Donald Trump vowed he would be “stopping cold the attacks on Judeo-Christian values.” And Stephen K. Bannon repeatedly invokes it in his plans to promote European and American nationalism….
(taken from complete Washington Post article which can be read here https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2019/04/17/once-judeo-christian-tradition-united-americans-now-it-divides-them/) One can plainly see the spirit of agreement and cooperation includes all parties and differing POVs.
Agreements which include actual legislation that our politicians have been free to make decisions upon , in blatant and unchecked monarchial fashion, for many years. The most shameless molestation of our Constitution-marrying religious matters into the very heart of state affairs.
https://www.congress.gov/bill/102nd-congress/house-joint-resolution/104/text
Finally, we have a last, but not least , “hint” of things not being as we’ve been forced to believe. A “clue” as to things not being as we depended on them being in order to operate within this “loving and respecting one another” snow globe. Choosing to look on the brighter side of matters, it’s a “hint” which can help us better maneuver what precious little is left of our lives, in order to avoid future and oncoming assaults. https://religiondispatches.org/holy-spit-why-do-ultra-orthodox-jews-spit-at-christians/
Never mind this bug eyed and open mouthed  “spit” into our face, regarding the witholding of “assistance” from “unworthy” human beings.
When an entire fabricated piece of fiction of zombies in the land was vomited out from the guts of CDC instead of real and useful information (that used to be displayed so we could better save our lives) in the event of a true emergency.
https://www.cdc.gov/cpr/zombie/index.htm
It is these obvious damages and evils resulting from these types of connections which will plague the reputations and pain the consciences of the descendants- of the hundreds of leaders, academics, media monopolists, celebrities, clergy and all others…who have decided “to hell” with even the very children they promised to “love and provide” for.
Never mind us -the “dirty and revolting human beings that infect the earth” they rule over and claim embarrassing “superiority” over.
It’s simply a shame to see how many human beings, of supposed impeccable status and reputations, have ended up safeguarding the condition of their legacy with no better regard than pet waste scraped from the bottom of their well-heeled and “Louboutin”ed feet.
The “celebrated” multitude who bare their ugly teeth and have the naked nerve to dare accuse scores of us of “anti-Semitism” ; when in our own families we carry the DNA of mothers who had to watch their babies skulls get crushed in land stealing massacres, fathers who had limbs chopped off in attempts for freedom and those millions of families who carry the wounds of countless extermination programs…where their “betters” used them like any coward who has the audacity to use human shields.
If we were to be a bit more honest and a LOT less vain, we would see that the spiritual obligation to deceive us means we’ve NEVER been protected nor “loved” in the first place..by these all too mortal “men”.
Note;(As he predicted and as tyrants insist we remain terrorized by, as if we’re forever doomed to stay in the 200 B.C.s instead of 2020 A.D., he was murdered in the period before the Bolshevik uprising) The author is slandered (in a Wikipedia article) as being so ignorant as to have compiled a controversial translation of the Judaic documents, risking his very life, with the poorest understanding of the ancient language. As one can see, on occasion, he did include original text-meaning the door is closed on any such careless “fact” It is important work which resulted in one of the bravest moves a human citizen could have even imagined risking in the 15th century..especially while working under the severe eyes of the most dangerous merger of institutions that this world has ever been forced to suffer and exist under.)

Friendship ending
A lot of people have had friends dump them because they either voted for Trump or don’t hate Trump enough.
And when they are forced to see that the friends they try to dump aren’t horrible people, they perform mental gymnastics to convince themselves that their former friends are horrible people.
The following is a long rant from one such friend of mine and my response. If you recognize who it is, I DEMAND you seek no reprisal from them. I am keeping them anonymous to protect their identity for just that reason.
... A leftist, really now. Ahaha, oh wow.
*Link to the post I made about Lincoln being shot by a Leftist*-Z
Yes, noted Confederate sympathizer and anti-abolitionist John Wilkes Booth. A leftist.I was already keeping you at a healthy arm's length while putting up a vague semblance of friendship for the sake of not rocking the boat on that one server we're in, but holy shit have you ever lost your damn marbles. I can't do this, lmaoI mean, you've got an impressive collection of bullshit on that blog of yours all around, but this? chef kissHonestly, on some level, you impress me. How someone can claim to be anti-establishment while sucking up to the establishment every possible way they can, how someone can claim to be "seeking truth" only to disregard all evidence that can't be traced back to some skeezy reactionary Facebook page or another delivered to you through the impermeable little bubble of right-wingers you've created for yourself along with the right wing side of mass media your purportedly loathe so much... tell me, just how much cognitive dissonance do you deal with on a daily basis? How does it feel to claim to be "pro life", or to claim that you care about others only to push for measures to restrict access to healthcare, or to vehemently yell against anything the government could do that would make it easier for people to come out of the vicious spiral of poverty?(edited)How does it feel to constantly pretend to care about minorities, but only ever use us as gotchas to other minorities that you've internally designated as universally bad in spite of any evidence to the contrary - not to mention, without ever listening to us if we tell you you did something wrong, instead cherry picking those of us willing enough to suck up to the establishment to tell you what you want to hear, so you never have to confront the idea you may have done something wrong?(edited)Hell, isn't that what they call "virtue signaling" in your circles?Beyond your dishonesty to others, ask yourself this: are you even honest to yourself? Aren't you robbing yourself of any kind of personal growth by doing all this? Are you really contributing anything positive to this world by constantly spreading unchecked factoids that instantly fall apart the moment you expose them to any actual scientific sources (you know, the ones people in your general political corner like to call "fake news"), or by spreading the idea that people in dire straits should just pull themselves up by their bootstraps?Or for that matter, by resisting any measure of change towards a fairer society and instead vocally gushing about the virtues of a system that, by its very nature, its very definition, its very -essence- is about fucking over who you can, and quietly plugging your ears to anything you hear about the many negative consequences it has for the world, or the people living in it?Come back to me once you've learned how to maintain a shred of integrity, I suppose. Maybe take some time to reflect on what it means to be a good person. I can't be friends with someone to whom I have to explain why they should care about other people.Goodbye.
This is my response:
In 1865 John Wilkes Booth, a Democrat, assassinated Abraham Lincoln, President of the United States.
In 1881 a left wing radical Democrat shot James Garfield, President of the United States who later died from the wound.
In 1963 Lee Harvey Oswald, a radical left wing socialist, assassinated John F. Kennedy, President of the United States.
In 1975 a left wing radical Democrat fired shots at Gerald Ford, President of the United States.
In 1983 John Hinckley, a registered Democrat, shot and wounded Ronald Reagan and paralyzed a member of his cabinet.
... In 1984 James Huberty, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 22 people in a McDonalds restaurant in San Ysidro, CA.
In 1986 Patrick Sherril, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 15 people in an Oklahoma post office.
In 1990 James Pough, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 10 people at a GMAC office.
In 1991 George Hennard, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 23 people in a Lubys cafeteria.
In 1995 James Daniel Simpson, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 5 coworkers in a Texas laboratory.
In 1999 Larry Asbrook, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 8 people at a church service.
In 2001 a left wing radical Democrat fired shots at the White House in a failed attempt to kill George W. Bush, President of the US.
In 2003 Douglas Williams, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 7 people at a Lockheed Martin plant.
In 2007 Seung - Hui Cho, a registered Democrat, shot and killed 32 people in Virginia Tech.
In 2010 Jared Lee Loughner, a mentalliy ill registered Democrat, shot Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and killed 6 others.
In 2011 James Holmes, a registered Democrat, went into a movie theater and shot and killed 12 people.
In 2012 Andrew Engeldinger, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 7 people in Minneapolis.
In 2013 Adam Lanza, a registered Democrat, shot and killed men, women, and children in the Sandy Hook school massacre.
Leftist? Maybe JWB was, maybe he wasn't. But a Democrat, he assuredly was. Perhaps I overreached in saying he was a Leftist, but I should clarify that when I say 'Leftist' I don't mean 'someone on the Left'. I mean someone who believes The Left is the ONLY way. The same way I draw distinction between Muslims and Islamists. Islamists want to push it on others. Muslims are the broadest defition of those who follow Islam.
And what establishment am I sucking up to....? I don't watch Fox with any kind of regularity. I get most of my facts from self-described 'classic liberals' whose hearts are on the Left, but their minds are more centrist. They have intellectual honesty. I listen to Gavin McInnis to blow off steam, Bill Whittle for the Right of Center take on news and Sargon for Left of Center.
I don't care for the mass media because while I suspected that they were liars and obfuscating before, to finally have iron-clad proof of it is extremely liberating.
And I CHALLENGE YOU to show me where I said that women should not have access to healthcare. Or even hinted at it. What, you think because I know Single Payer is garbage that will create a pile of corpses. I'm against healthcare for women? I've even said that my stance on abortions is that it should be between the woman and her doctor, not the woman, the government, the doctor, some pencil pushers and more. Just as my stance on same-sex marriage is that it should be between a couple and the church of their choice, not to make it legally compulsory and simply flip the oppression over rather than making it fair and equal of measure. And where abortions are concerned, the parental rights of the father are nonexistent. Now, in cases such as incest and rape (Which if you look at the stats, represent a small minority of abortions) still strongly urge the mother to consider life, but if she chooses abortion, while I find it extremely distasteful (The child DOES NOT HAVE A SAY IN THIS) I fully understand and sympathize with the decision.
As for helping people out of poverty, you know what's the BEST way out of poverty that ISN'T a government program?
A job. A simple job. And if the government creates conditions that *encourage* job growth, then you accomplish the same end without making people dependent on the governmnet.
That's not to say that there shouldn't be charity for people who TRULY cannot help themselves. That's a given. But when you extend the scope of those within the perview of the government to give money to to include people who CAN help themselves, then you create dependents. And it's not that they're bad or lazy people. They're taking the least complicated route. If you get more money for not working than you do for working, you'll take the one that affords you free time to spend with your family, friends or on your own pursuits.
Constantly pretend to.... universally bad...? WHAT....? Dude, don't even try that one. Blah-blah, anyone Right of Mao is racist, blah. Pardon my French, but go fly a frikken kite. In my tabletop gaming group, my friend Paul, 2nd Generation Japanese immigrant, is the most decent and kind man I've had the pleasure of knowing. He's a good dad to his kids and a good husband to his wife. My freind Zach is from a huge Filipino family and he's the best GM I've ever met, short of my oldest brother. John grew up in a Cadillac before his parents legally became citizens and came up to America from Mexico. These are guys I trust, literally, with my life. And none of us give a crap what the other looks like.
And I admit, for a while I was 100% not on board with Transsexualism. But since then I've come to stand that an adult who has spoken to a therapist and doctor, sorted out their feelings and decided after consideration that they wish to transition is completely fine by me. It doesn't hurt me or anyone else and if they've spoken to a therapist, then they're not setting themselves up for something regrettable. Now, trans-trenders, who want the status of being special and different, but don't want to go through the heartache and effort of making that transition, I call out for their bullshit, because not only are they full of shit, they're robbing REAL transsexuals of their credibility, their agency and their respect. And for some transsexuals to come out and say 'You don't have a right not to have sex with a transsexual', can't you see how that would rub some folk the wrong way?
Don't even try to talk to me about science, friend. I studied biology, agricultural science and psychology and I know a thing or two and when someone obfuscates or has nothing peer-reviewed, then I get suspicious. Again, I'd sorely love for you to point out where I was 'anti-science'.
And if you're suggesting that Socialism is your fluffy 'Fair Society' then I suggest you travel to Venezuala. I have a friend who lives there and the picture he paints is NOT a pretty one. How do you define a 'Fair society'? Because I define it as a society that rewards effort. You do a hard day's work, you make a fair wage and you work your way up the ladder. You can't try to take luck or privilege into account on EITHER Socialism or Capitalism, because there is no way to quantify the variable of luck and when you look at privelege, then it exists in the pipedream of Socialism too, because the people running it will ALWAYS BE BETTER OFF than the people who are not. That's simple human nature. The Great Wheel of Life as the Buddhists describe still exerts its effect on a Socialist state as much as a Capitalist. But unlike Socialism, at least in Capitalism you have, barring disability, the same shot as anyone else does to earn a good living.
I find it laughable that you sit there, where you are, and decry someone you know through occasional chats as either a good person or a not good person based on arbitrary variables.
See, the truth is that life is not as black and white as that. It's an exquisite composition of greys and other colors.
Sometimes life is good, sometimes life is not, but if you are free to self-determination (Something you DO NOT HAVE IN SOCIALISM) then you have a chance to better yourself. You DARE to accuse me of not caring about people out of one side of your mouth, while, with the other, propping up Socialism, which *DOES NOT CARE* about people to the point that a child is worthy of sacrifice due to SIMPLE INCONVENIENCE?! Sorry, but *fuck* that is the very cognative dissonance you accuse me of in plain and flagrant view.
I push myself to be a good person. I don't hurt people, I volunteer, I help the seniors at my church with many needs, I'm there for my friends and family and will drop what I'm doing to help, I treat everyone working retail with respect and actively try to make their day brighter, I don't care what color someone's skin is, I don't care if someone is disabled (My best friend back in Youth Bowling League and a better bowler than I, was a deaf boy named Arron), and I am generally considered to be very 'chill' in person and am so without chemical intervention. Does that make me a good person? I don't rightly know. I just do the best I can with what I've got. And I don't *dare* to assume that I have moral highground unless it's a truly clear-cut case. I've never killed, raped (Even though 3rd Wave Feminism insists that in every man there is a rapist that needs to be taught not to rape_) or stolen anything (Some shoplifting in my youth notwithstanding). In other words, I try to be a decent and polite person and let the world decide if I am or not a good person.
But what boggles my mind is that the line between good person and bad person is tied DIRECTLY to what side of the political spectrum they fall under. That is simplisticly childish. As is the 'Come back to me when you care about people' nonsense.
I will again wait for you to come to your senses and realize that life is not a cartoon with cartoonishly one-note people.
Genuinely warm regards,
-Zucca
