really really loving your ideas for the camp au will you ever give like some backstory of idk how they met or first impressions or who hasn't adapted to camp life yet?

Have the one page prologue draft thing:

Lance is thirteen when he first attends Camp Altea. He doesn’tknow a single person, but he does recognize the X-Men backpack on the kid aboutten feet away from the drop-off. He also knows a bully when he sees one, andX-Men backpack or no, Lance isn’t going to let that slide. That’s how he meetsHunk, half-sobbing into a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles blanket while Lancekicks the backs of X-Men Backpack’s knees.

Hunk is also thirteen when he meets Lance, but he started atCamp Altea the year before so he has a better idea of the ropes. He’s friendlyand prone-to-tears and shorter than Lance, but Lance just recently became a bigbrother and takes protecting people he likes very seriously. As luck would haveit, Lance and Hunk are assigned the same cabin and their friendship skyrockets.

Pidge is an unofficial camper at the age of ten. They aren’ttechnically enrolled, but they’re there during the day because their brotherMatt Holt is a senior camper and their father Sam Holt works in the kitchen.Pidge meets Hunk and Lance when the pair sneaks into the kitchen one afternoon.Instead of ratting them out, they play Pokémon and share a package of Oreo’s inPidge’s secret spot whenever they can get away.

Shiro is three years ahead of Lance and Hunk. Like Matt, he’salso a senior camper and a legend. He excels at rock-climbing and swimming andis the heartthrob of the camp. Lance has a huge crush/hero-worship thing forShiro and half vies for Shiro’s attention, half doesn’t want to be acknowledgedby him ever. Lance is pretty sure Shiro would think he’s annoying, but Shiroactually thinks the kid’s adorable (and it’s nice having someone who does morethan splash around in the water). One time they had a race to the buoy andback. Shiro pat Lance’s back. It was awesome.

Allura is a year behind Shiro and Matt. Alfor owns and runsthe camp, so she has a “princess” status. She’s popular and talks to everyone,but she honestly just wants to do activities with everyone else. She’s one ofthe few people who isn’t afraid of talking to camp heartthrob Shiro like anactual person, AND she’s the only person to turn Shiro into a clumsy, blushingmess. Shiro’s too scared to actually talk to her while they’re campers becausehe thinks Alfor would kick out anybody who makes a move on Allura.

Shiro was supposed to come back the next year as acounselor, but didn’t. Matt didn’t come back either. Lance and Hunk don’t pry,but eventually Pidge tells them there was an accident and that they don’t knowif Shiro is ever going to come back.

When Lance and Hunk come back to be camp counselors at age17, Shiro comes back too. They’re both a little stunned to see the prostheticarm, but they’re happy to have him and Matt back and actually be their equalsthis time around.

Keith has never attended Camp Altea. While he’s an outdoorsytype, being around a bunch of other kids has never appealed to him. He likes toexperience nature, not do a bunch of activities that just so happen to involveit. While Shiro’s been doing stuff at Camp Altea, Keith has mostly been doingbackpacking trips and photography. He likes pushing his limits and survivaltraining more than anything.

But Shiro asked Keith to spend a summer with him since he’sgraduating university next spring and hasn’t properly spent a summer with Keithin years since the accident (their yearly backpacking trips have been cancelledin favor of relaxing at home and a few pool days). Reluctantly, Keith agreesand he’s brought on as a camp counselor. He’s a little mad that it’s not justhim and Shiro, but Shiro assures him they’ll spend lots of time together. Andthen he meets the rest of the counselors…
